- Try to follow through with your hitting elbow parallel to the ground (and the baseline), with your hands above your eyes. This promotes a low to high swing for better net clearance and topspin.

Excellent tip
Amazing advice
Very good explanation, also I notice that before the racket flips and after the racket face stays the same.
i recently switched to doing this as my normal rally 2hbh shot... gives me a bit more depth & consistency... previously my "rally 2hbh" was more hozontal with hitting elbow finishing low... which is great for flatter attacking shots, but loses consistency especially against big hitters (think my 2hbh vs. attacking fh io). i still use the flatter variety of finish especially when hitting on the rise, when at or inside the baseline, or on a swinging volley
I feel i like it more linear bh than loopy one when i want to attack
The Djoker clip is a backhand to a higher ball❗
Lol SMH
Do you finish higher or lower off of a high backhand?
I keep seeing these kinds of videos which literally makes no sense. Tennis shots are more about feel than mimicking ace players. If the ball is low and you finish above the shoulder, most of the time the ball will fly
Of course there is improvisation in tennis. But if you don't copy the fundamentals of the great players, are you doing the opposite?
@@StokkeTennis if you observe, every great player has a unique way of playing. I am sure the coaches will never train the Medvedev way, but he is at the top
@@saranshsharma9333 He has a lot of solid fundamentals though
Paying attention to what happens way after ball contact isn't so great an approach to tennis. Why❓
Lol
I used to think the same. But what you do with your arms through the swing to get to this higher finish affects how you hit the shot. It's not just hitting how you usually do and just changing the finish. Changing the finish effects the whole shot

The finish is the effect. What matters is its cause that came first. The start dictates the finish, not the reverse, though they are associated.
