It got me hooked on the band Triumph!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆🙂🙂😁😀😊 I like the stories Rik told!!!!
He is a Rockstar but he is also a musicians musician. Inspirational !
Rik is one of the alltime greats. And this song..... I'm tearing up listening and watching. Saw them in 1981/2
Thank you Rick! What a gift it is to hear you entertain a crowd at 70 years young! Sounds amazing in the new key!
That was fantastic... time flys... seen triumph 3 times, back in the day, they never disappointed...much respect rik, 70 and still jamming...
I was lucky to see them a few times in the 80s and 90s. What a fantastic person and musician.
Wow, how time is gone by so fast. I saw them in Southern California when I was 17 years old in 1980. He was fantastic then and he still is now amazing.
I had forgotten ,that this song was my all time favorite, and hearing it just reminded me ,it is my all time favorite ,period!!
He still has a very youthful presence about him, yet full of wisdom.
Wow, wow, wow! Wonderful video. I saw them in the 80’s! Magnificent show. Thanks for sharing.
I'm 59. There were three musicians I always paid to see. EVH, Dave Meniketti, and the one, the only, the most underrated and greatest in my era...Mr. Rik Emmett. He has a lot of my money. He never, ever, let me down. Absolutely amazing musician. And more importantly, when the crowds began to dim, an absolutely fabulous, accomodating, grateful human being. Thanks Rik. You are a better than you are a singer and guitar player. It's impossible...but you are.
I saw all 3....I feel lucky....Eddie on Diver D tour....Dave M. Opening for Kiss and Rik on Allied tour.
@@bobbyw1510Dave with twisted sister and Dio . Rick with ufo at SMU and sport of kings Eddie with Dave and Sammy. Great time to be alive and see live music . Megalithic ozzy with randy, the priest scorpions so many great tours nugent motorhead dokken and George lynch .
@@lonniehawkins582 which tour with UFO? That's another awesome but underrated band no matter the line up . RIP Paul "Tonka Chapman", Pete Way and Paul Raymond 😢😢😢😢
@@spuds6423 I saw this last one but I saw them a bunch of times once in Nashville with schenker blue oyster cult in Texas at smu with triumph I saw them at the wild horse I've seen them with every guitarist except atomic Tommy M .over the year s and a lot of tours with Paul without Paul isaw them with Chapman playing rhythm and key boards I've seen everyone in concert pretty much .I'm 63 my next thing is babymetal I've got two kids we still go to shows like avenge seven fold to tool .
I'm a rocker I've seen so many bands at the top of there game . I've missed a few I wanted to see but just never made it bowie Gary Moore solo saw him with thin lizzie though and queen maybe a couple more but not many . Man I saw rush play 2112 when it was new Tom petty breakdown the first time he toured with an album I was at the show with lemmy on the documentary with Metallica. I was at the Ted nugent show on double live gonzo . Saw Boston when they were new saw Eddie van Halen when I didn't even know who they were Metallica master of puppets tour warm up for Ozzie bark at the moon .the firm zeppelin for 45 minutes in Chicago Alvin Lee Robin Trower .
But ufo was a constant favorite and to me other than zeppelin the greatest band of all time I love every album they ever made .if Phil moog and God got into a fight who would win .
Trick question Phil moog was God. Lol
That's U-F-O to me . Bad company priest CSN&Y EVERYBODY !
Oh yeah and AC/DC with Bonn at the Morris civic in South bend ufo was the headliner .
Wow.... That was excellent. The man still sounds great after all these years..... I too would love to see Triumph get back together for a few shows. I never saw them when I was in high school back in the early 80's and I wish I would have! Awesome band with pure music.
Love this, gave me chills.
See young Folk......that Really is Real Music.. For Real For Real!
🌹🌹🤘🏻😊
My favorite Band growing up as a teenager. He still sounds awesome at 70+.
Thanks Rik, God Bless you!
Living Legend ! Songs from our youth. A real trendsetter on mtv back in the day !
Always admired the level of musicianship and to be rockin like that at 70 Rik is just legendary 💯
Brought me back 40yrs.... Triumph #1.. thx Rik
It’s sad when I see older singers try to match what they did when they were young. Instead, Rik transformed the music to match his current abilities, which are still amazing, just different. That’s not just talent, it’s humility as well. Love that guy, and this song.
Rik Emmett keeping it real.
One of the greatest rock-guitarists/vocalists ever...so many classics, incredible live performances worldwide; just unforgettable in every way...timeless...✨🤙🏼✨🔥✨ (will never ever forget seeing Triumph in Philly many years ago at The Spectrum...one of the greatest shows of all the many hundreds I've seen...)
This song and many others Rik wrote with his band Triumph will be remembered by Rock Music fans many years to come! Thank You Rik and God bless.
Thank you for posting this! Triumph was such a huge part of my childhood, discovering them in junior high school. Hearing their music, Rik Emmett's voice, and guitar playing in particular takes me back and I can still remember certain things in my life. You know how certain songs can really have an impact on you - have a deep, or special meaning to you? Magic Power has always been one of those songs for me. Rok on Rik! And thanks for the memories!
Wow - he’s 70 years old? What great vocals and energy
ALL WAYS HAVE THE MAGIC POWER!Ever Since 82,on MtV!Thats was my Pass port to you Guys! Thanks!RiK!
So often we see ourselves reliving these songs which is why they are timeless and hit close to the heart. The music today just doesn’t have that punch anymore. Rik Emmett is a legend and Triumph will remain one of the greatest bands ever. Thinking Man’s Music. Thanks Rik.
