Rik is one of the absolute BEST singers and players in rock music. Cool guy too! Plus so many amazingly written songs! There are Triumph songs you can hear over and over and still love.
Middle Ground is one of the best Rik Emmett songs. The bridge verse in it is just fantastic. Another great Emmett song that's little known is If Only from the mostly forgettable Sport of Kings. I might be one of the few that was happy to see Rik leave Triumph. He just had soooo much more to offer than what format Triumph could offer.
Rik is the real deal!! One of the greatest guitarist of all time. Great song writer too. I’ll never stop listening!! Thx Rik.
