the news about GhostBSD on minit 10:21 it's just joking from the manager of GhostBSD
It's April 1st laying
Yup I do that every year’s.
When it comes to Dark Mode...
I went over to the Dark Side back in the 90s.
this channel is very underrated, i hope your channel will grow up someday, the best FreeBSD channel so far
Thank you, I hope so too
It’s pronounced Mah-Tay. You had it. It’s a type of tea popular in South America
I wasn't able to install it on my Lenovo Thinkpad T420s. It is easier to make a hackintosh with Ventura. Anyway they have to work more for a good desktop. I use Fedora, by the way! Best regards!
On vanilla FreeBSD I use octopkg as GUI for pkg.
Don't you find it a huge hassle that by default button mapping on FreeBSD are made in such a way that scrolling down or up in a web browser reverts to the previous page all the time ?
Do you mean with a mouse scroll wheel or a trackpad? That sounds more like a problem with the desktop environment or window manager. Try disabling gestures.
Mouse scroll wheel. it does this in KDE, XFCE and anyt other Wm i have tried. You basically have to disable some mouse buttons on FreeBSD for it to work correctly.@@TFSned
since redhat did what it did, i am looking for other solutions for desktop. freebsd is one of in my interest. A desktop based rework of freebsd is a good idea, it is a bit hard for me to deal with freebsd as a dekstop. question is: is ghostbsd a possible community to work for meny years?
What redhat did?
SteamBSD aims for the Gaming market, but many people discuss it on RUclips or Social Media.
Please do a video about the latest release of Ghost BSD 24.1 based on Free BSD 14
Not a full test/review. The only hurdle why I stayed away from BSD desktops is that not properly (auto) mounting USB devices due to some privilige (default) settings.. The rest works fine.
Not sure about GhostBSD, but I use dsbmc to mount USB devices in my vanila FreeBSD (this software from a great project of NomadBSD - a portable version of Desktop FreeBSD)
Inside FreeBSD and much more OS'es, is have RPM packaging is also part of CentOS, what is part of RED HAT.
I use Ghost BSD as my daily....
Which mic do you use?
It's nothing special, it's a SubZero SZC-100 Small diaphragm condenser, have it boomed just out of shot.
Um. It's mah tay. Aregentina espanol..The Argentinos wanted to keep 2 so they built it !!!
Am I the only person who doesn’t like dark mode?
Looks like you fell for the April fools joke.
This is in the top 3 of the most boring, most useless, most uninformative RUclips videos I've ever watched.
Congratulations.
Thank you for the comment, I realise my content isn't for everyone so thank you for helping me with the RUclips algorithm 🙂
@@GaryHTech He is definitely a Windows or Mac user xD
