Hi there, 5 years living in the car is an amazing feat! A recommendation for your kitchen set up is to get a foldable camping table from Coleman. That's way you can cook outside your car to avoid the grease, smell, and keep your sleeping area clean.
Love your channel. Getting ready to take my Subaru car camping for the first time for the entire month of August. Touring the country with my dog, Frank!
The butane gas cylinders should be ok, should be butane and a smelly sewage sulphur additive so you can smell a leak. Your risk is a gas leak/fire and explosion. If it did leak, you have lots of electrical equipment. Its very very unlikely though if kept in cool storage or totes. They should burn cleanly since your outside. CO will come from typically faulty gas hobs gas boilers not getting enough oxygen which will give off CO. Car tyre puncture repair kits are often useful and cheap for short term main tread repairs. The engine or brake leak additives often have glow dye and uv torch can show you the leaks if you have them. You need to get the hammock up pronto. Depends how you feel, some people would have subaru deal, clothing deals, equipment deals, use michiganster10 to get 10% off dog food. Can end up a seque every few minutes. 2 cookers are even better, maybe a tarp to cook on. Your doing great, keep on trucking. 😋
Get a splash guard along with a silicone mat for cooking....that way splashes wont hit your mattress. Also maybe a carbon monoxide detector for safety. I love your set up! And where did you get your boots? Love them!
looks like you guys are having lots of fun truck camping congrats and be safe as well 😊... also the way you made up the inside of your truck looks cool and beautiful to congrats 😊...
Very nice sit up young lady. I'm turning my Ford Excursion into a camper weekend get away. I've learned a lot from you guys. Keep up the great videos...
Hi you two! The tour is so interesting. Why are we fascinated with tours? Don't know, but there it is. 😄 For your bed platform, Dollar Tree has contact paper. Most places do if you don't like Dollar Tree choices. It's vinyl topped and wouldn't change the level of your sleep platform. It's inexpensive enough, you could cover the whole platform for easy wipe down. I'd maybe look into a vinyl table cloth too for Blue's seat. Easy to wipe and critters won't like it, can't cozy up and make a home. I just found Natural Care + last year. It's non-toxic. It works! Kills and repells bugs, like fleas, ticks. It also works on spiders. My 2 good girls live pretty much outdoors. They hate the inside. Wild children. Lol I've been using it for them and it works! Bonus, it smells like Christmas time. I spray their bedding and outdoor shelter with it. Inside, I've used it on spiders. My cat is sensitive and it doesn't bother her eyes or breathing. And I vote a huge YES for a separate gear video. I'm a curious cat...wanna know. Lol A "behind the scenes", with gear and how tos would be fun! Stay safe out there. See ya next time. ❤️ From AZ

@@roamingreckless No, there's not. But there are 12 volt fridges that you can run with your battery. I also have a 100 watt portable foldable solar panel that I can use to charge it if I'm going to be sitting somewhere for at least a few hours.
Hello from Melbourne, Australia. Just started watching your videos. Really nice setup. For the cooking setup I would get a piano hinge and some thin ply or something similar, have it the width of the bed platform and hinge it up each time you cook. It would save the splattering (cooking always has invariably some splatter, especially when it comes to bacon) from going onto the bed/bedding. Once done cooking you could hinge it back down. You could also adhere an LED light strip to it as well. Just something I would do if I were brave enough. Blue is soooo super cute.
Very practical setup. Good job. 5 years is a long time. I have a Wagon R and got very beat up by just driving. I think I lost about 10 years of my life in just 2 years. Keep pressing on.
