I had never listened to Icon for Hire and then heard Breakdown on Pandora. Wow! Have been listening to The Reckoning album this week and Gatekeepers is one of my favorites. Sounds like Thousand Foot Krutch to me. Ariel has a ton of energy that comes out in the lyrics and delivery.

This BM has become a big fan of you guys. As far as the video, I'm thinking that the underlying theme is being anti religion/authority in general ie: "gatekeepers". If that's not it, I think it's about Ariel not being taken seriously as woman in the music industry
It was love at first riff for this rabble-rousing Alternative Hard Rock headbanger. A great intro, a memorable singalong chorus, tubthumping rap verses and a lalalala hook - this is a guaranteed gig favourite. A proper song. My Score: Excellent 5*
