Hi Gitana, i'm glad you're back! If you can, please check out Blackpink, they are the hottest girl group right now in the world. Some of their videos have over a billion views. I suggest as your first reaction the song "How you like that "
Death Core. Can't handle the group/music. BUT...... MAJOR KUDOS TO YOU for sitting THROUGH the whole video. That aside, I LOVE your channel. It's the main channel I watch. I love your reactions. You're so humans and natural. And you connect so well with your Gittanos. I continue to be a strong and loyal subscriber.THANK YOU for a SUPERB job !
Fr, I remember just cackling at the absurdity of the breakdown. Everytime you think "holy shit this has the be the apex of the breakdown" the song just clenches a fist
I actually prefer it now to before. Once I started karaoke video singing it and actually being able to understand the lyrics. I found I enjoy it more now.
"Well, when I'm done feeding my two cats, I'm gonna finish Satan's summoning into this Earth. Dunno what my schedule is for tomorrow" - Will Ramos, Lorna Shore🤣🤣🤣🤣
This style is blackened deathcore. Its deathcore (heavy heavy shit with lots of growls and blast beats) with a touch of black metal (orchestral sweeping underpinning melody with high demonic screeches). This song is the 1st single off the new album with a new lead singer, who is not well known, only in the most followed of this style of music. The old singer was awesome and no one thought someone could come close, then Will Ramon did this song with them, with the beautiful sweep pick guitar solo, and yes, that demonic pig squeal growl....that was just to show the band is just as good without the old singer, and it's every member that makes the band...and Will showing he is where he belongs.
If your after more like this then others have already said the others from the album 'And i return to nothingness'. If you wanna get a feel for deathcore then there are bands like Slaughter to prevail (awesome heavy Russian band), Attila (a bit of a joke band, I would recommend Pizza for a first listen as its just easily accessible and funny), or Suicide Silence (a standard...for their most accessible, listen to 'you only live once') For the black metal side, for an easy access to it, you can't go wrong with Cradle of Filth - nymphetamine, her ghost in the fog, or cruelty bought thee orchids. Other bands would be Dimmu Borgir, Golgorath, Mayhem, immortal or satyricon. The difference between deathcore and black metal is deathcore tends to talk about real life stuff, overcoming difficulties in life, getting the drive to push yourself harder, whereas black metal tends to be more religious based notably about Christianity and organised religions, including paganism. Where this song meets between the 2 is its lyrics are concerned with someone resigning themselves that they are going to die and go to hell, and its about him calling for it and accepting it. Then end being his final entering to the hellfire. I thoroughly recommend watching a lyrics version of the song, as the words jump out at you more when your listening, and you can hear his flow and inflection on the words and phrases. You WILL be surprised at how easily it is to understand when the words are there!

The deathmetal influence is in the vocals, guitar, and fast drumming while the beatdown hardcore influenced sections are from the use of breakdowns (used to be called beatdowns) when they throw in slower tempo "moshing" sections into the song

After time listening to heavy stuff you can honestly start to pick up the words easily. Best way to think about it in the beginning is Wills vocals are just another part of the song
FWIW, Lorna Shore aren't straight-up death metal. They're a kind of genre-crossing mixture. One way to describe what they do is melodic, atmospheric, blackened deathcore, but this isn't very precise. In addition to the astonishing variety of harsh vocals from Will Ramos, let's take a moment to recognise the workout that the drummer gets during this song.
That last breakdown gets all of the reactors everytime! Not to mention when they hear that death rattle/pig squeals they have their heads blown up. It takes a lot of breath control to actually do this vocal technique.
First time i heared this i didnt really like it, but i noticed it was good. 2nd time i liked it more. a few months later i listen to it every day. Its so good in so many different elements.
I mean, not because it's not heavy, but because it's not the heaviest extreme metal subgenre, even in deathcore You have brutal deathcore heavier than lorna shore. With slam or Some black metal subgenres, deathcore becomes normal everyday music lol
Yay! Welcome to the deep end! 😁😁 It's fun over here. Our minds were blown when we first heard this song too, the vocalist is absolutely spectacular! Phenomenal!
Lorna Shore always makes my chest hurt, mostly because it gets my heart just going crazy. Will was a great addition to the band for this EP when their previous vocalist took off to join a bigger band. Spiritbox is probably more your speed, as it still has some elements of heavy, but also has more melodic and ethereal moments. They’re a band that does it all, rather than tredging on in a single direction, which is what every other metal band seems to be doing.
Minor edit to your post because the timeline is confusing to people who haven't followed them for a long time^ The ORIGINAL vocalist left to replace the singer for a bigger band. The second vocalist was someone different named CJ who got kicked out after allegations of sexual abuse. Will replaced CJ, not the original guy who left on good terms.
This is in my top 3 fav reactions to this song now, and that says a lot! I'm about to see them next Monday here in Portland Oregon, US 🤘💙🤘 there's a CHANCE I get to meet them because my friend rubs the venue, and it feels like the week before Christmas 😅

I´m a native spanish speaker and discovered your channel bc of your name hahaha I found it interesting (and of course bc I´m a jinjer fan), so I love it haha. and as always great video!
Welcome to the deep deep swamp of metal! It's a little mean for the commentors to bring you this deep this early(edit: I assumed your reaction to Jinjer was recent), but it seems like you enjoyed it. So, I think you are ready to go deeper.... Of course the obvious next step is "Blasphemian" or "Swineocologist" by Infant Annihilator and "Demolisher" by Slaughter to Prevail, but I know those are inevitable--like Jinjer is. So, one song I really really recommend is "Closing the Gates" or "Abaddon"(official vocal playthrough) by Monochromatic Black--it is almost as heavy as "To the hellfire" but is female fronted. Another song I really really recommend if you don't mind a really long song(17 minutes) is "Dammed" by Sold Soul, if that is a bit too long, I then would recommend their song "For whom the banshee cries". Another one I really recommend is "Apparition" by Spawn of Possession--this band is actually progressive technical death metal. I also recommend "Recreant" by Ogre Packet Slammers, "Enemy" by Brand of Sacrifice, "Intensified Genocide" by Shadow of Intent, "Generation" by Angry Reacts Only, "Death Whistle" by Signs of the Swarm, "Kiss the Wind" by Shrine of Malice, and "Drone Corpse Aviator" by Archspire(this one is technical death metal while the others are deathcore). Now, if you want to go a bit lighter, I have a lot of recommendations. First, I must recommend my favorite band, Vintersea, in particular their song "Crack of Light" is straight up my favorite song of all time(they are progressive blackened melodic death metal)! I also have to recommend my second favorite band which is Unlucky Morpheus, the songs I would recommend is "Unending Sorceress", "Agreifer", and "Cadaver"/"Revadac"(they are melodic death progressive enka power gothic metal). I also have to recommend Death because they are my 3rd favorite band and they are the pioneers of death metal, I recommend the song "Flesh and the power it holds"(Live in Einhoven 98')(They are progressive melodic death metal). Another recommendation is "And plague flowers the kaleidoscope" by Ne Obliviscaris(They are blackened melodic progressive metal).I also suggest "Drive into the light"(2019 live) by Passcode because it is a very interesting song that mixes J-pop with metal(which is the subgenre known as Kawaii metal).... A band that does a similar thing is Ladybaby, and their song "Riot anthem" is in particular good. I also suggest "Remnant in time" by The Agonist because it is a very dynamic song and has great piano(They are metalcore). Another great song by them is "Orphans". I also suggest "In maidjan" by Heilung because even though it is technically not metal(They are nordic folk), it uses certain elements of metal and has some nice throat singing. I have so many other recommendations, but those should be plenty.
This song is so much fun watching people react to, I'd like to see you react to a song from Igorrr, most others have reacted to dieU but feel free to chose one, all of them are probably gonna make you react differently because they mix a lot of different genres. Loved your reaction.
Will Ramos (vocalist) is such a genuine, happy go lucky, funny dude. He's always joking and laughing/making people laugh. He's an INSANELY talented guy. His techniques require YEARS of mastery. All of us deathcore junkies love him, and those like him! You should start with metal core if you're interested in metal.
These guys draw inspiration from black metal and are insanely, *unbelievably* heavy. Their vocalist Will Ramos goes out of his way to push the boundaries of what's humanly possible, and I must say it's impressive. Don't be fooled, while it may genuinely seem like Satan sold his soul to Will Ramos, in reality he's a really awesome, humble, genuine and lovely guy (many metal and "core" vocalists are). It's a great scene. *Don't let Lorna Shore put you off they are truly extreme,* likely to make non-metal AND metalheads jaws drop and scratch their heads in disbelief 😉
Gitana, I love your reactions. If you liked this, and you like emotional music, check out Lorna Shore Pain Remains 1, 2, 3. Three parts…. They wrote it like a movie. Watch the video versions. Would LOVE to see your reaction to this. You will not be disappointed. Keep being you. You r awesome!
You are right about it being hard to do.... I've been a vocalist since 2006 and it's crazy difficult to go from a ridiculous high straight into a powerful low or a mid as clean as he's doing it. It took me years to even be able to even come close to being as smooth as he is.
Heard this called Goblin Core, thanks to Will’s vocal ability to pig squeal so well. The vocal talent it takes to NOT damage your voice and the breath control is crazy. The drums are insanely good as well as the guitar work, with the symphonic organ/choir in the back is easy to miss out on with Will’s vocals being so dominant. Good reaction and extra love for the “I’m not saying ‘he’s possessed’ “ part. Keep up the good work
This was great, G. I don’t listen to very much of the super heavy stuff like this, but I love Lorna Shore, & love watching people react to react to them. The other tracks on this same EP are great, too. I really like your reactions to country songs, as well. If I may, though, I’d like to ask that you take a bit of a detour away from the lovey dovey country songs to something a tiny bit different, & check out Aaron Lewis. I’d start with Country Boy or Am I the Only One, then maybe something like Granddaddy’s Gun. Love from Texas. Keep up the good work! ✌🏼❤️
Great to see your awesome truthful reaction. Could see it in yours eyes. Should check out as mentioned below The Charismatic Voice (trained opera singer who's been diving deep into metal) and Kardivox Academy ( extreme vocal coach and lead singer of metal band). If you want to learn more. Keep it up
When I first heard this, I thought there were no lyrics. Turns out there are. They call this deathcore, apparently a fusion of metal core and death metal. Two things: You're right, there's a melodic line that is rather nice at the back, played by the synthesiser and one of the guitars. But without the lyrics, it just became sound., with hints of music. But: has some interesting stuff in there, and I loved your reaction.. 😊!
Haha. Please do "Archspire - Drone Corpse Aviator" official video. They are some of the fastest musicians ever (including the vocalist!) It WILL blow your mind!! :)

*Don't let Lorna Shore put you off they are truly extreme,* likely to make non-metal AND metalheads jaws drop and scratch their heads in disbelief 😉
12:56 MRW my GF wants to try something different and she walks into the bedroom with a duffle bag filled with weird pointy objects.
If a genre like this is done on a high level with much care and love it is somehow entertaining. This one was indeed. Thank you.
Hi Gitana that was a great reaction to Lorna shore, I’m new to this so I can’t break it down for you, and this was very entertaining thank you.
Great reaction !!. You absolutely need to react to Shadow of intent - The heretic prevails
TO THE ABYSS, NEXT SONG!
Keep up the good work
"Goblincore" 😂😂😂😂😂
Nekrogoblikon exist already though.
Everytime i listen to this song my heart is full of love and peace 🌸
I'm in tears lol. Priceless
You reaction was so entertaining lol!
The genre you are looking for is deathcore.
All great songs have a great guitar solo.
Infant annihilator have a very similar style. If you want to explore this genre more.
Love to deathcore! Love Lorna Shore and Will Ramos !! 🖤🔥🤘
6:41 AZREALLLLL 😈
This was great, G. I don’t listen to very much of the super heavy stuff like this, but I love Lorna Shore, & love watching people react to react to them. The other tracks on this same EP are great, too. I really like your reactions to country songs, as well. If I may, though, I’d like to ask that you take a bit of a detour away from the lovey dovey country songs to something a tiny bit different, & check out Aaron Lewis. I’d start with Country Boy or Am I the Only One, then maybe something like Granddaddy’s Gun. Love from Texas. Keep up the good work! ✌🏼❤️
Gitana: Husband, can you hear it
Husband: FUCK YEAH
LMAO
Great to see your awesome truthful reaction. Could see it in yours eyes. Should check out as mentioned below The Charismatic Voice (trained opera singer who's been diving deep into metal) and Kardivox Academy ( extreme vocal coach and lead singer of metal band). If you want to learn more. Keep it up

Welcome to deathcore MyLady ! You're just not ready for the material here 😉, nice from you to try it ^^
If they don't like your name....Phuqem!
The lyrics...Apparently?
I'll hold onto feeling
Until my final breath escapes
Gazing upon this world
Until it fades
Fall with me into the other night
We can go beyond the horizon again
Fall with me until we're out of time
Let the current swallow
These whispers keep clawing
Your mind is dissolving light
Sink while you bathe in hallucination
Accept this descent into the night
Releasing your grasp to induce separation
Plunged into the shadows
Lost in sensation, we're free falling down into the everblack
Can you feel it? These pins and needles
Trapped in sensation
See what you have found here
You fell into the dark
Release your grip and face the tide
Accepting this damnation
Relinquish flesh temptation
Of the body and soul
The ebb and the flow, nothing confessed
Put me to rest
Azrael
Guiding me beyond the veil
Obitual
Free me from this mortal shell
Enter into the darkest night
I will sink where I lie
Through the sands of time
Through the angel's eye
My final breath
Swallowed by the womb of death
Swallowed by the womb of death
Whispers are clawing
Your mind is dissolving light
Enter the void and fall with me (with me)
Fall with me (with me)
Enter the void
Fall
Release your grip and face the tide accepting this damnation
Relinquish flesh temptation
Of the body and soul
The ebb and the flow, nothing confessed
Put me to rest
Azrael
Guiding me beyond the veil
Obitual
Free me of this mortal shell
Enter into the darkest night
I will sink where I lie
Through the sands of time
Through the angel's eye
My final breath
Swallowed by the womb of death
Swallowed by the womb of death
Swallowed by the womb of death
Sink while you bathe in hallucination
My final breath
Swallowed by the womb of death
As you pass through the fucking gate
Descending towards the end faster

Reactions to Jinjer - Pisces used to be my favorite spectator sport.... Now its reactions to "To the Hellfire" :)
Actually this is Blackened Deathcore, so deathcore with black metal influence.
you have to think of the voice like it is an instrument too, it’s not just sound like you think. you have to look at it differently
@@sh4rpys its not will said its not black influenced at all.
Haha. Please do "Archspire - Drone Corpse Aviator" official video. They are some of the fastest musicians ever (including the vocalist!) It WILL blow your mind!! :)
