I never listened to deathcore before I stumbled over this song, now I love Lorna. It helps to read the lyrics, after a while you learn to hear them. It also helps to think of Will's voice as an instrument. His vocals also fit the lyrics, about his descent into hell/madness. I appreciate you checking them out, having an open mind, and being honest. The talent is obvious, but as you say, it isn't for everyone. :)

Lorna Shore is the best rabbit hole to go down into. IMO. Why do I believe that you ask?
    1. The lead singer Will Ramos’ vocals cover every demonic theme possible. I love that the most evil voice in metal comes from this bubbly, upbeat, funny dude, that loves to laugh.
    2. The musicians are not only technically efficient. But they’re also very melodic. The lead guitarist and main songwriter Adam DeMicco has/is very open with the community when it comes to the music or his depression during the process of writing the latest album.
    3. The amount of emotions they can portray in a single song is amazing. From anger, sadness, frustration, grief etc.
I couldn’t have imagined that the same band that writes the heaviest breakdowns. Could deliver an emotional breakdown with the Pain Remains trilogy of songs/videos. An absolute masterpiece of art. The three song’s Dancing Like Flames. After All I’ve I’ll Disappear. And In a Sea Fire. Follows a single storyline through the music and videos. There’s so much more that can be said about Lorna Shore.
Great reaction. The more you listen to this genre the better everyone gets in understanding his diction. It’s like learning a new language.

  • @alessandromalvasi7768
    @alessandromalvasi7768 Год назад +6

Every Lorna Shore song is like this, it's called "blackened deathcore" for a reason i guess. The only thing you can try before definetely drop on Lorna Shore and never listened to them again are:
    - To the hellfire one take vocal performance by will ramos: the singer did this because in the official video you just watched his vocals were a bit drowned in the mix, you still will not get any cleans but at least you will going to appreciate his vocals better imho
    - sleep token covers by will ramos: hypnosis. again, a video performed by the singer, here you will get A LOT of cleans since it's not a lorna shore songs
    - pan remains part I: dancing like flames. Again, no cleans since it's a lorna shore song but...there's a moment. there's a moment that's very emotional (the whole video is emotional actually) and that has soft spoken voice followed by a "growled" very distinguable line which got a lot of reactors to the point they've cried, so i guess in some way there's some connection (which is what cleans are for usually, by singing them you get involved more 'cause you feel connected more). Of course if you enjoy part I, there's official videos for part II and part III too.

I don't know how people find this style of vocals aggressive. For me this is the only thing on earth that helps me calm down. I need this to be able to sleep and have peaceful dreams. I need this to be able to focus when i am working.
But i understand that we perceive music differently, so I guess some people find this aggressive though is beyond me how it comes across like that.

I would highly recommend watching the vocal one take version of this. Then as a follow-up, watch the vocal one take of Will Ramos's Sleep token: hypnosis. It will shock you.

If you wanna hear Will Ramos vocal range listen to his cover of Hypnosis by Sleep Token now that you've heard To The Hellfire. Then move on to the Pain Remains trilogy. I'm in no way a Death Core fan either EXCEPT for Lorna Shore and only since Will joined the band. I feel like combined with Will Lorna Shore is untouchable. He brings the best out in them while they bring the best out in him.

Pain remais, is a trilogy of songs from Lorna Shore! You should react to the video clips, is sooo good

Definitely qualifies as jumping into the deep end, haha. One thing I would suggest is to watch a few videos with Will Ramos to get to know him as a person, like the Charismatic Voice one where they put a camera in Wills throat while he makes crazy noises. I've seen countless people be turned around on this band after a few listens!
Wills one take of the Sleep Token song is the only thing he's put out with clean vocals, by the way!

One of the biggest reactor channels for core music said it perfectly when he said that 99% of Deathcore fans understand the lyrics without pulling them up. This, as well as some black metal is about the mood. Consider vocals as an instrument.

I feel like with the A7X t shirt, I should’ve seen the disappointment of lack of clean vocals coming, honestly dont get how people can listen to this and want anything but this forever

I respect your honesty. This type of metal isn't for everyone. I see your Avenged t shirt which speaks volumes to where your limits lie. It might have been too much to soon. Egh... I'll subscribe any way. Reactions from a pretty girl is always a plus.

You need to check out the same song but he does a vocal cover. This video does not highlight his ability. He’s amazing.

This isn’t really my cup of tea either but listening to this for the first time was a remarkable experience. I appreciate the honest feedback. I’m not a fan of reaction channels that like literally everything they react to so thanks for being sincere
