    This is why I keep a nice electrical kit on me at all times. No cutting wires, soldering, or messing around with shrink tubes etc etc. Just find the right size key and re-pin the wire. 😊

    Got the driver side low beam going out, then coming back on, then going out again. Not sure if I've got the same issue, but I'm definitely going to check those wires to see if they're crossed. Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosing. Straight to the point, start with what you know, test what you EXPECT to see to verify and then learn from there. This is not a skill a lot of mechanics have unfortunately. Thanks for the vid!

    Thank you so much for the helpful video. My issue is with my 08 ram. My front turn signal won't work at all. All the others work fine. The front marker lights work fine on that light.

    When replacing with LED aftermarket they now make plug-and-play ones that don't need step-downs or step-ups to make them work. 2022 Upgraded AUXITO 9012 HIR2 LED Headlight Bulbs, 100W 20000 Lumens, Wireless LED Headlight Conversion Kit, 6000K White Halogen Replacement Bulb, Pack of 2. These are for the low beams and the High beams are the 9005 bulbs. They have built in fans and I took out my old bulbs and plugged these in and they worked with no issues.

    Ughhhh headaches, man I feel for you, brother. This is my entire life… I always get all the electrical problems in the shop… It is the bane of my existence. 😂 the saddest part is though that nine times out of 10 automotive problems always boil down to an electronic failure of some sort nowadays…. why? Because everything is a damn computer under your hood.

    Just helping out …
    Power/Ground doesn’t feed directly into that bulb, there is a switch in-line, on the power side that closes the bulb-circuit…. This how a house-switch works, but I may be wrong concerning this issue

    a mechanic would change the pine out a parts changer will replace the harness

  • @nwmi493
    @nwmi493 Год назад

    the harness within the housing has been known to corrode and thus be changed. the new harness could have been an eBay knock off from OEM and is possibly why the common was not in the middle. or the housing was hanging at one time when owner changed the bulb and the pins pulled out

  • @Fastfreddie79

    Should’ve put in a OEM harness it cost less than $19 I did it on my truck I don’t know why people mess around with cotton wiry is in trying to put wires back together when OEM parts are so cheap sometimes but best of luck to you

    I have a 2018 navigator reserve that I have been having electrical problems my turn signal goes out and then eventually both turn signal followed by the running light in the right side. If I replace the modules it works for a bit but then it does it again. Do you know how I could diagnose it or could this be my headlight causing this short. I replaced the harness and it keeps doing it. It was in an accident and the headlamps are from a junk yard. Thanks

    Good video but based on your findings it would never had worked. I would bet someone swapped wires not knowing what they were doing when all along the problem was a loose connection. Unable to get it to work especially with the wires swapped they brought it to you to untangle the mess.

    • @jcx2bby
      @jcx2bby 4 года назад +4

      @@mansouralblooshi3004 I disagree. That piece of harness needed a full replacement, the pin literally fell out of it plus the wires were crossed. Additionally, he stated this was a 'comeback' vehicle which means another tech already tried to fix it once and failed. At the dealership, replacing the harness was the right call.
      Great video!
