Great vid & tips. I found that going for higher lvl stories then i am has boosted my kling from 30 to 55 in 4 days. Hope that helps 🖖

Got to your video through YT recommendations.
I'm a console playing person mainly but started a PC character half a month ago or something around that time, with the final Terran V'ger campaign. On console (Xbox) i play for arround 3 years i guess could be 4 (didn't played much in the begining after j named my first Toon V'ger because i thought, we didn't heard from V'ger in a long time..😅).
Note worthy about the Klingon ship is a) the Space Barbie aspect, if you, like me, like to have a special look, not only is this ship rarely seen but it can be turned charcoal black, comes with a Discovery era skin too, which i've seen even less often and because it's a Bop which has it's deflector upfront, it looks incredibly alien if you unlock your visual overhauls in the Borg Reputation system. Gives it an almost Cthulhu meets the Reaper (from Mass Effect) vibe.
I call it my Borg of Prey and unpack it everytime i feel the urge to go Borgzerk the Galaxy. It just simply works from the look of it.
I upgraded it to a T6-X because i can't stand ships that are not completely upgraded and it makes a decent ship. If your free to play or low budget like me it helps a lot to have it as a back up too.
After reaching Level 65 wit a KDF captain you can use it on all your characters and if you start a new one it can carry you easily from lvl 20 to mid and early endgame. I managed to euip it with the Borg weapons too plus the house Marrow 2 piece and my three lockbox Zhat'Vash Plasmadisruptor weapons
And believe me if you manage to fly that thing backwards it looks even more alien.

As this is happening while the space missions event is on it’s also a good way to level up while getting the ambush kills and rank up your ship, I’m lucky enough to have the adamant as an account unlock it’s got a battle cloak and is one of the strongest ships for single target take downs (is so much fun melting a ship your “”meant”” to run away from I just walked up behind the dederadex pressed attack paten beta and cannons rapid fire and decloaked it didn’t even last a second so if you have a few ships unlocked don’t feel you need to stick with the ships they give you, a dominion ship will really help you level thanks to the wingmen it gets I don’t think any of them can have a battle cloak though.
TFOs are a good way to get Ambush kills, but just remember that most TFOs have Objectives. You want to make sure you are completing Objectives along with any personal goals you are trying to reach. This is why I suggest just missions or Patrols to do the Ambush kills.
Any ship with a cloak can be used to complete Ambush Kills, it is just that Enhanced Battlecloaks and Romulan Battle Cloaks allow you to recloak in battle.
My suggestions are Eagle if you don't mind flying Fed, Temer if you have it from a few years ago (Don't buy it from Mudd's). Both are 5-1s
If you you want to stick with the KDF, I would suggest the Legendary B'rel Pilot or Kor Bird of Prey. They are 4-2s but have Universal Seating which is Good.
If you want to venture into warbirds, I suggest the Legendary T'liss or Faeht Intel Warbird. The Faeht is a 4-3 but the Legendary T'liss is a 5-2. They both have a singularity core, so you will have to decide if you like that.
After you complete the Ambush kills, fly whatever your flavor is. There are a lot of good ships that are good for different reasons.

As a note about the Bat'leth, if you have the ultimate upgrade, do not use it on the Bat'leth unless you get it to XIV first, because it's getting it to 14 and the ultimate skips that, meaning that you'll need to drop it and waste the upgrade while leveling up another. Just use either the upgrades you get from various recruit missions or phoenix ones to get it to 14 before doing anything else.
I've seen a few people hit by that in the past few days.

yeah, I saw that one coming, because the Gamma recruit has an objective to upgrade a piece of gear to XV, and when I tried an ultimate upgrade on it, it didn't work. There's some fine print that tells you this, but none of us were going to read the fine print, honestly. So when it came time to do this with the KDF recruit, I knew not to even bother with the ultimate upgrade.
Contraband, should you open the unlocks as you get them or wait till 65 ? As a new player

I believe the gear boxes are based on your level.
@@zezashetan Was thinking the same will get the ship once that unlocks and save the rest till I'm stuck or hit cap.

Contraband, can you access and complete all the missions in the receiver after the events ends (I assume as you mentioned a number of dallies per day that one can but is that true for them all?), as in make a Klingon char and work on it slowly when time allows?
Yes, once you have the receiver, you can take as much time as you want.
good video. the only reason i am doing this event is for the endeavor bonuses for my main character.

Does the bat’leth and it’s traits unlock account wide? And what about the bridge officer? Is it account unlock?
Bridge officer does not account unlock, the only way to get it is a Klingon Recruit. The Batleth and trait are Account unlocks

Klingon Recruit is a Good Storyline to get a start in if you haven't played for awhile. And the Benefits of the Recruit for account unlocks if very good.
Contraband. Is their a benefit to making multiple kdf recruits? Also take my sub and good video thanks.
There is a Bridge officer who extends the Ambush timer Specific to the Klingon Recruit, But if you are not going to be a Stealth Ambusher, there are better Bridge officers. Every other Benefit gets unlocked for the account, one way or another.
One last question if create the character now but play in one month do I lose on anything?
No, as long as you have the Encrypted Receiver, you can take as much time as you want. You just need to have the Encrypted Klingon Receiver in your inventory

When the event is over and your still leveling your Klingon Recruit will you lose the rest of the rewards?
You can take as long as you need to finish all recruits. Getting the receiver is the most important part. Some of the tasks such as Endeavors will take you about 80 days or so.
