The importance of that final cut as you see Broly's eyes just before he gets teleported out of the way of the Kamehameha *cannot* be understated.
While he's in a berserker rage, his pupils and irises disappear. He was literally terrified out of his berserker rage. He was legitimately scared that he was about to die.

Understand it’s coming from a guy who hasn’t been up to date with dragon ball, it legit looks like a green haired woman in a yoga outfit.
Kefla is cool, but her outfit is really lame. It's just a tanktop and tights. In the least since they combined via Potara that means if they ever fuse again they might put something cooler together depending on what their components are wearing at the time.
I will forever call Gogeta’s Dramatic Finish on Janemba a 10/10 because of the utter disrespect.
Gogeta powered down to base form and then to Super Saiyan to do Stardust Breaker (Soul Punisher).

Any piece of media relating to the source material should make themselves so appealing and visually pleasing that even strangers to the series would be enraptured and made fans. If the only people you can get are those that are already invested, you already failed in marketing.
this game was actually my introduction into the series, now I've officially seen DBS superhero and consider myself a full fan of the series

I HIGHLY recommend it.
It is a rare case where the movie VASTLY out-does FIGHTERZ.
Seriously, though. The movie does a great job of being accessible to people who know little to nothing about DB, it feels consequential from a larger story perspective, and it’s surprisingly well paced for a movie where almost half is a continuous fight scene
On the other hand, the Dramatic Finish is basically the entire fight between Gogeta & Broly. But the rest of the movie does work well to set up that final bit.
Just dont support funimation when you watch it, not until they give Vic mignogna his job back

You sue the company hiring you and they tend NOT to want to rehire you no matter the outcome. He should have stayed against the individuals and not the entire company

The lack of antagonist Dramatic Finishes is upsetting. The villains got some of the best shit and they only use it for heroes. I would love to see S Broly thrash Goku as a Dramatic Finish or Cell killing Trunks or beating down Vegeta
Frieza making Krillin explode should have been a Dramatic Finish instead of a Special Intro

In the movie Fusion Reborn, a young worker at the check-in station(the place you go when you die) accidentally breaks containers that have all the negative energy of spirits that pass through the station. All the negative energy amasses using the young worker as a host to create Janemba(fat yellow baby form). Gogeta uses "Stardust Breaker" which has some sort of purifying properties to destroy Janemba and save the host. So that's who is looking up at Gogeta in the dramatic finish. Most probably know this but there are some(including Max) who don't.

The new assist system has actually ended up pretty balanced, other than a few problem assists that need to get reworked. (Bardock's b assist: blockstun purgatory)
Janemba looks like he has less depth because hes missing the highlights on the side of his body. If you look closely at the other characters you can see they all have the highlight. Except him...
It might be an artistic style choice since he's a being that transcends dimensional borders...
I play Janemba since release, and I see no problems with him.
If you look at the movie he is from you can better understand why his color design is so muted. The hell that Goku and Vegeta fight Janemba in is an eye melting land of colorful jelly beans. Him having very mute colors actually helped him stand out among all the color that was the background in that movie.

Is not just her, but all Universe 6 sayains: her separate forms (Kalufila and Kale) and Kabe design are downright terrible and generic.
In fact that goes for almost all Super's character (Excluding Whis, Beerus and Hit). They all look underwhelimg as hell.

Gogeta’s dramatic finish against Broly is 100% the best one. I don’t think it will be topped. Not even if they do the dramatic finish with MUI Goku against Kefla.
No chance. As dope as that UI kameha was against Kefla, It just doesn't have anywhere near the depth and cinematography that the movie does with Gogeta and that's okay.
We know by now that they try their best to exactly replicate what happens in the show
Oh, I dunno, MUI Goku vs Kefla had the best Kamehameha in the history of Dragon Ball, and I hope they animate it super well, with insane cinematography.
GrimmBones I think bare-minimum, MUI Goku’s dramatic finish against Kefla will be on par with Gogeta’s dramatic finish against Broly, but I don’t think it will surpass it.

Tadayoshi Yamamuro isn't responsible for the fact Kefla looks bland. its actually more in Toriyama's fault along with the direction staff at Toei animation. Toei's team designed Kale and brought her to Toriyama, who decided she'd need to be a duo, and then designed Caulifla. both are equally as bland in terms of clothing choice and design, with Kale being a literal Broly clone. this means when they fuse, Kefla just looks like an NPC / COC.
@@platinum2263 kefla's design isn't all bad. It just needs a bit more polish because there isn't alot of layers to it unlike Goku. Kale's design is ok but caulifla needs a new design badly.

Her super cut crop top shows she unrestricted while her super baggy pants to the point it looks like its about to sag gives a very urban thuggist look. With a mix of her wild spicky hair, she screams Top Thug who gets into plenty street fights.
Kefla however, looks like a ordinary gym girl, ESPECIALLY IN BASE FORM....
@@SaanWukong Do you know how many characters have those same baggy pants in dragon Ball? Goku, Krillen, Tien, Yamcha, piccolo, Gohan, all the versions of buu, Moro, etc. The crop top while unique to dragon Ball still isn't visually interesting. Kefla's design isn't that interesting either but at least you can notice that it combines elements of two characters. Kale Imo has a better design and I don't even like kale all that much because she at least has layers.

Even the jeans are baggy as hell most of the case so I don't see your point. The way she wears them is still different and feels different then every other character.
Kale, I admit, didn't get as much credit as I should have given her. Her design is a bit better than Caulifla as it also reflects her character. Her croptop is baggier and covers more and wears a skirt with a belt and leggings underneath showing she doesn't show off as much as Caulifla and is much more modest and shy. Yet she wears Jewelry such as gold and etc, something someone who is high in the food chain or royalty would wear, showing she isn't all what she seems. Not to mention it's a great call back to Broly Z showing their similarity. Kale is top tier design as well!
The GT Goku super where he throws a punch and then a kamehameha is a throw back to the original Dragon Ball where he fights Demon King Piccolo in the World Tournament. Its cool AF.

Johboat till you realize it was cheelai’s fault no one could reel broly in. This causing the entire scenario that required her to save him.
@@SH1NK1R01 One hell of a stretch, granted Frieza killing Paragus was what set him off even more than he already was.
[Spawn] the collar was the only thing that was able to reel broly in due to his clear rage issues and what appears to be a learning disability. A human kid who acts up like that can be talked down and humanely retrained. A planet destroying super creature cannot. She destroyed the collar trigger claiming it was being used to torture broly. Had she not Paragus would have calmed him down and they would have left. Paragus would have survived too. Freiza wasn’t even gonna do anything but make himself taller anyway so it’s not even a crisis. Great movie though. But it did feel like bits were removed to force Paragus as a “villain” and market cheelai as a waifu. There are clear contradictions with his actions and the way characters refer to him. Everyone goes “man he’s so bad” and Paragus is like “my son I can’t lose him” then people go “terrible father I can’t believe that guy” then it shows Paragus going “fuck my race, I’ll save my son”.
SH1NK1R01 Paragus’ goal was literally to use Broly as a weapon against Goku and Vegeta. Even if he had left peacefully he would’ve been back and god knows what Frieza was going to make them do. His wish may have been harmless, but he was still out there conquering planets man. We see that in the intro and ending for the movie.
TheCoolguymanly he planned to use broly to kill people he didn’t know existed? Nice. Also his behavior towards his son is Saiyan culture and vegeta treats trunks the same. Trunks just listens after being yelled at. Also he still leaves to conquer planets anyway. So what difference does mentioning that make? Freiza survives and leaves with his army. And just goes back to business

TheCulexMan kid turns fat, then gets tall and skinny, then two grown men beat the shit out of him, throw some pixie dust at him, tall skinny boi turns back to normal and runs away terrified and the two grown men laugh at what they’ve accomplished
Out of these Dramatics, here are my personal ratings based on science:
Goku vs Vegeta - 9/10 this shit is what made me love DBZ
Goku vs Freeza - 6/10 cool looking but a bit uneventful
Gogeta vs Janemba - 9/10 stopping a punch with your face because you know you already won will never be not awesome.
Gogeta vs Broly - fuck/10 I don't even need to say anything.
Goku & Freeza vs Jiren - 10/10 I hate Jiren and I was very disappointed with the tournament of power in general and I still think that Goku and Freeza teaming up is awesome enough for a 10.
Thing about Gogeta vs Janemba...THE PUNCH STOPPED A LITERAL HAIR'S WIDTH FROM HIS FACE.

@@JetstreamDan Have you seen the Janemba movie? In the movie (which this Dramatic Finish is a DIRECT REFERENCE TO) Gogeta tosses the Stardust Breaker at Janemba, and Janemba's fist stops RIGHT BEFORE it hits Gogeta.
The Goku and Frieza vs Jiren dramatic finish ironically did more for Jirens personality in a minute than the show tried to do for literal hours

Max really hates super dash, but once you get a good amount of experience with the game it's not that big of a problem. Super dash actually becomes super risky because if you get 2h you get blown up or even tod, and at high level play you almost never see people throw out or get hit with raw super dash, and the nuetral is crazy fun. I just takes time to get used to reacting to it and understanding how to counter it. Hopefully Max doesn't give up on playing because of super dash, because punishing that shit is incredibly satisfying.

It's not that dealing with super dashes is a problem or not, to Max it just isn't fun dealing with super dashes in general especially online with input delay

Ngl even in competitive superdash is kinda ridiculous sometimes. The whole fake crossup superdash is disgusting. In close ranges where 2H on reaction isnt realistic, you get in for free. Throw in an assist after and they now have to hold the mix. A lot of these hard to react situations basically come down to a hard read which seems unfairly risky. Of course the jank that happen sometimes like random crossups and shit is dumb too.

I can't believe no one is talking about the limb break at 15:03. Alongside the DBS Broly Dramatic Finish, that's definitely the highlight of this video. The way his arm torques into an impossible curve while his fist shakes violently gives that motion an unreal amount of whiplash.

I think you should watch the DBS Broly movie you’d probably like it.
Yes watch the film it is awesome. And sets up Broly to be this power-house anti-hero member of the Z-Fighters yep calling it now after the Moro Arc in the anime airs we'll finally get DBS Broly returning as a Z-Fighter.
I think a really fun thing Max could do with this series once this season is all wrapped up and go back to all of the dramatic finishes and compare them to the scenes their based off of since ( from what I can tell ) he probably hasn't seen alot of the original series

I highly recommend you watch dbs broly. Its a great watch and i think you would enjoy it.
Considering the fireworks and crazy animation alone, yes, it is entertaining. But the story is nonexistent. The current Dragon Ball run can perfectly be described as the equivalent of hollywood brainless blockbusters, but in anime form.
R it does have some story but it doesn’t need story. It’s beautiful and exhilarating drawn art.

Again, it sounds like this is an example of a inferior kind of entertainment... And it is. But it still entertaining. So, for people who watched these dragon ball super movies and got entertained, that's fine, it's not a "sin" or anything. I used to think these kind of products were completely useless, zero value, etc... But I was wrong, they have a reason to exist.
