i know this is super old, but did you ever try switching the wires around, sometimes if it thinks it's going in reverse but spinning forward its slower because the motor thinks it's the other way around.
Hey Sean!👋 I never tried that but it’s a good idea! Unfortunately I sold them awhile back so I’ll never know!😂 I’ll keep it in mind for the future! Thanks so much for watching!👊😊✌️
Hey brother! Not sure if you still have these kicking around. Are planning on getting your hands on the new Arrma grom mojave? If you still have these it would be great to see a comparison between the two. Wonder if Traxxas or Losi will respond with a new mini of their own! Take care Jeremy! All the best to you and the family! 🙌😎👍🏻
Hey Robby!👋 Unfortunately I sold them awhile back. It would’ve made for great comparisons! As far as the Mojave Grom, I’m on the fence lol. I’ve got a couple tower gift cards from Father’s Day; I’ve been waiting to see if any big sales come up. I’ve been thinking if no good sale comes up by tomorrow, I may just go ahead and preorder the Mojave!
@@HaydadRC hey I get it totally! Have you seen Redcats 30 sale for the month of June? Tomorrow is the RC Gen 9 . Pretty sure you can get the deal through Tower Hobby
Well, great job in proving brushless is not always fastest! I have a few brushed RC's that are pretty quick, too. Thing is, the brushless are usually more efficient, so may be slower but more fun time! Great test my friend, take care and always a big thumbs up bro! :-)
@@HaydadRC ...And it's my pleasure to share this hobby with you across the Big Pond - how cool is that, Jeremy!?!?! One good thing about the modern world bringing us together. :D
Hiya David!👋 Great point exactly my friend! I might have to do a stock comparison of the a959b and 144001 next!🤔 Thanks as always for watching brother, stay well!👊😊✌️
Surprising results! Well done Jeremy 👍🏻👍🏻 I've often felt like these 1/18 rigs seem fast at the 20mph mark. My little Dromida DT 4.18 does 20 on the nose according to my old Garmin, and it's plenty quick IMO. They get hard to handle much above that unless you've got a wide open parking lot type area to run in. Nice comparison my friend! 👊🏻👊🏻
I totally agree brother! I feel the stock Prerunner speed is just about right; anymore just seems overkill! Thanks for watching Mike, always appreciated!👊😊✌️
I was thinking the same thing Steve! Unfortunately the battery bay is pretty small, I couldn’t even fit my small Awanfi battery in there!😮 Thanks so much for watching my friend!👊😊✌️

@@BangForYourBuckRc I’ve been watching the Redcat sale I just haven’t seen anything jumping out calling my name!

Exactly! I couldn’t have said it any better my friend! Thanks for checking it out Mark, always a pleasure to read your kind words!👊😊✌️

It’s what I enjoy most about RUclips my friend; although we may never meet in person, still making friends through this media is awesome!😊
Gear it up
First of all, sock is a 370 motor not 380-big difference! Second, it’s a lithium polymer not lithium ion. Also a big difference.
Thanks for the clarification!
Connect yellow to red instead of red to red yellow to yellow
Yessir awesome comparison my RC friend
Thank you! Much appreciation for watching it bro!👊😊✌️
Nice test Jeremy i have had some pretty fast brushed setup s 👍👊💯😀
Thanks Brent! I may need to one day put a more serious system in one of these things! Thanks for watching brother!👊😊✌️
Nice vid bro keep up the good work
Thanks Jamie! I’m glad you enjoyed it; I appreciate your support brother!👊😊✌️
Cool test! Kinda like the 2845 vs the 550. 😃 That little 2845 gets it done!
Have a great day and be safe out there! 🙏👍🏻

Nice going bro hope your keeping all good
Thanks for watching bro; I’m doing well! I hope you are as well! Thanks for checking it out my friend!👊😊✌️
Lipo's are a lot faster discharge. Lithium Ion are for long-life electronic devices like phones or laptops.
Great point! I’ve been meaning to take this back out equipped with a proper lipo!
Thanks so much for checking it out!
👊😊✌️
Those look familiar
Ripriot RC Hahaha they should! Thanks for watching Dave!👊😊✌️
Bet its faster in reverse
Unfortunately I don’t have these trucks anymore….thanks for watching!👊😊✌️
Wow that was a shocker.. One thing I thought of maybe the brushless needs a better higher C rated battery to open it up a bit more? Nice test.

Assooy...brushless
Hi 👋 and thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it!👊😊✌️
