    Tbh it one of my fav ga planes, i really love how after a flight, u shutdown, and get the engine ticking from heat expansion!! The most common criticism is no failures, but idc bout that, the flight model feels really nice too, has that yaw/slip feel which sooo many planes lack in msfs. Would definitely recommend

    Ah great review series, to be continued, please. And the 414 is looking so gorgeous, I love her. Every year I see an old one at the little Texel Island airport, and I go ahhhhhhh ❤

    Another great review, one of my favorite aircraft. The tablet and walk around are great.I love the sound of the engines when going full power. Unfortunately, after a recent MSFS update I can no longer get my dual Logitech throttles to work in the sim. I had to go back to the single levers.

    It's a good one. Maybe even a great one and if you are a Cape Air fan, which I am as my area of enjoyment is regional airlines and GA, then it is a must. Nice vid Murph :)

    Super informative video as usual, really enjoyed it! 414 is incredible but it’s missing that “something” to be a daily driver for me, if that makes sense?

    • @twotonemurphy

      100% - its an awesome aircraft but just a little bit hollow

  • @tigpot
    @tigpot 5 месяцев назад +1

    Your right. Seems a little overpriced when some stuff is missing. With one engine shutdown I would have expected the yaw trim effect to be needed to balance out the plane. Great if they can add that as an update.

  • @musefan12345
    @musefan12345 5 месяцев назад

    Love this plane. It does fall short in the maintenance area but fortunately for me I’m not so much into all that kinda of stuff.
    I fully agree on the start up thing. There’s definitely something missing. The engine sounds seem far too quiet for the initial start up.

    I would score the Chancellor the absolute top score on all levels because it has the BEST flight model & sounds. Yes wear & tear and failure are a big MIA and it needs this in future update because this would make it perfection GA flight.

    i'll get excited when i see a 400 with wing tanks.. i've worked in 400's, 401's, 414's, 421's.. every..single..one..had wing tanks..actually until this mod came out for a flight sim I'd never even seen a twin cessna with winglet.. thingies.. ugh

    • @twotonemurphy

      Yeah the 401 is pretty, I have been watching Rebuild Rescue work on one for some time

      Tip tanks, except the wet wing 421C. I've got about 40 hours in one, albeit, many decades ago.

    The 414 is a good little twin. But like you said, it's missing something?
    For me it's clearly beaten by the 310. Apart from the 310 having wear and tear, it seems to have something special about it, that just makes it nicer to fly than 414.
    Edit: Plus the 310 is a lot cheaper.

      A 421 Golden Eagle would be better.

    How would you compare the 414 to the BlackSquare King Air Analog.
    I have both, but haven't flown either yet. Too busy binding some of my simpler aircraft in SPAD. 😉

    • @twotonemurphy
      @twotonemurphy  5 месяцев назад +1

      both are very good. The BlackSquare King Air really focuses on the systems and avionics and allows you to change your nav options in flight. I will review the King Air soon

    Are you using a mod for the internal livery? One of the minor gripes I have about this plane is the 'mirror' on the back wall, it's so ugly. There are mods that will replace it but I've not been able to get any of them to work

    Have this aircraft, but NEVER fly it. But in all fairness Im an airliner kind of simmer.
    With that said, when not in an airliner Im likely in the Black Square TBM 850. Love that plane.

  • @aileronsintowind6835

    Hmmm I’d say no.. i would go with the 310 as the best piston prop twin currently available.
    But a lot of devs need to get a grip of the twitchy behaviour that is seen in the sim. Aircraft in the real world aren’t like that.
    It’s due to release soon and the DA42 is the best Twin I’ve personally used and flys accurate as well.. not twitchy.. hand flys great.

    • @twotonemurphy
      @twotonemurphy  5 месяцев назад +3

      Yes the 310 is very good. When the DA42 drops - folks will have a clearer picture of how good the hand flying can actually be

      @@twotonemurphy the difference from having an aircraft to live test when ever it’s needed and fine tune the model I guess.. it’s why the Comanche is soo good
