Would love to see how you take care of your muscle-skeleton while doing your daily stuff (like if you avoid certain movements/positions, or even if you do a little "warmup"/stretching to go walking or somehow to somewhere) So how a pro athlete like you literally moves through life 😃 thank you!
As a high school level 800m runner, I love getting your workouts as well as the breakdown. It really helps motivate me to do the workout when I know why I'm doing it. Thanks for the great content!!
Loved this video clayton, would love to see some micd up speed workouts and lifts in the gym, and also more podcasts! Long form content is the best and I really got a lot out of the Track Talk Thursdays. Keep it up Clayton
Clayton, I like the video where you explain your ideas on why you do these workouts, also talking about other training you have been doing it's great,,, cheers
There are so many different ways to Rome and I love hearing different perspectives/philosophy on training this was really insightful a lot of things and concepts people can take away from this video!
To your question, yes this type of video is Gold! Everyone feels like they are hiding state secrets on other videos. Knowing rest is critical to understanding what you are doing. So that was nice. Its nice to hear philosophically how you progress with sharpening temporally. Really good stuff.
This was great. Really interesting to understand the purpose of the session and how it fits into the overall plan. Another good video would be what you do in a gym session and why… and also your warm up and strides / stretches for a workout or race and another on how you taper for a race and why.
Like always big runner on the track, very nice comments in and after the workout. I want to see if u cann, some videos how you are preparing for 100/200m , like a bullet/arrow/torpedoo 😂
Great content! Please tell us you're mic'ing up for an indoor meet. If you're at millrose that would be cool as the atmosphere would be great and you'll bump into and get sound bites from so many elite runners.
Would love to see what your in season strength work looks like. Its hard to find good info on the web for what mid distance guys should be doing for strength because everything is either not specific or more psuedo science than fact. (Also weight room pulls in the views 😂)
I am a Japanese high school student 800m runner. I always refer to your practice. I would be happy if you could add a translation to it. I'm rooting for you from a distant country.🇯🇵
always good to talk to your athletic trainer and coach, i don't have much experience with shin splints but everything starts with building good mechanics
Drop a comment here on what you'd like to see off the track, gonna be recording all week with Alex!
Would love a full day in the life type of video!
What you eat in a full day of training

An explanation of how to “open your caps up”. I’m concerned I’ve been running for years with my caps closed.. 😢

Ready to see the speedsuit comeback
can't say that my wife is as enthusiastic

TBD it's tough to swing it at bigger meets but we'll see!
Yesss what do you do for warmups 😮
Could do a video on what you do for warmups and cooldowns for races/workouts?
I’d like to see what your dynamic warmup looks like, that would be interesting!
Noted!
Yes love this content!
Great content

Would love to see indoor track racing tactics differences from outdoor
Gotta do some indoor race reviews!

Love it
Ideal content
Thanks for the update. Any indoor meets on your schedule?
will drop my full schedule so far next video!

I always refer to your practice. I would be happy if you could add a translation to it.
I'm rooting for you from a distant country.🇯🇵
Wait a minute… “the caps opened up after that”…? What does it mean? How do I know if my caps have opened up..?!?
Guessing they mean capillaries which are blood vessels that provide oxygen rich blood to the muscles.
bingo
Great video, also what’s your mileage at?
more than 40 less than 80
A Tier Running Content
have you ever had shin splints? if so what did you do to help it?
always good to talk to your athletic trainer and coach, i don't have much experience with shin splints but everything starts with building good mechanics
What is the most important thing in having longevity in the sport?
I'll touch on this in an upcoming video
How long is the Akron track? Is that a 300?
yep!
what are the name of the compression shorts you are wearing?
Nike Aeroswift Tights
Couldn’t think of much harder distance than being a 400 or 800 runner
How do you pace yourself on a indoor track because most of the times my gps watch is not accurate on it
don't rely too much on your watch, learn your body and work by effort
Wow, to me that's over training. I bought some Olympic soft ware in 2007 and it had all type of soft ware workouts and this was not one of them.
i've never bought 2007 olympic software but i do have an olympic medal sooo
Who’s in the video with you
Garrett Chrichlow and baby Jake Ondash
@@ClaytonMurphy800 thank you
