From what I have heard the Memorial van Dame, Monaco Diamond league and Zürich Weltklasse are some of the greatest tracks
Great hearing your opinion on these tracks
As a Millrose 3x champion running in the garden yet training home track in the armory millrose is something else. Fact that in 97 my high school team was only team ever to compete in the HS 4X800 with 3 sophomores on the team. No team ever qualified with 2 sophomores and we we 3 + 1 junior. Won in 98 when we came back second year and to this day one of my all time best memories was winning in 98. Great list here and as a former half miler always rooted for you and still do
would (metaphorically) kill for a chance to compete in MSG again!! thanks for the support!
“There’s beer” i think it’s a criteria to have beer wherever u go😂😂😂
Makes track 5% more fun!
That's what I meant for how awesome is what youre living in the other video that I commented! Amaaaaziiing!
Hey Clayton, two words: Monaco FOREVER
Weltklasse would be my runner-up.
I like the inflection of humor and candid moments here!
P.S. I hear there are lower level swimming pools next to that most beautiful Monaco track ;-)
next monaco video will be just me discovering where these pools are 👀
Zurich is my favorite, the athletes come to the cheap seats around the curve after the finish, the fans are really into it and my kid got an autograph there from Usain Bolt back in the day
Zurich is incredibly special!
Solid video! Totally get where you're coming from, glad Millrose made the list!
This only solidified my bucket list- a trip to the Olympic Trials at Eugene. I can only imagine how amazing that must be!
4 days of the best the US has to offer, so much joy, heartbreak, drama, etc
and of course you get to meet all your favorite athletes! see you at the Pari24 trials next year?
@@ClaytonMurphy800 When will they announce the host?!?! I keep checking online so I can make plans!
I live in Hungary, and we love beer as the germans.
I haven't been on the Gyulai memorial, but I had raced on the track
I have been to some of the same meets and I'm surprised the Penn Relays did not make your list.
grew up in the sticks and barely had a HS team let alone one to get to Penn. Akron also wasn't exactly a powerhouse D1 program either 😬
Being from Nice, I was anticipating the mention of Monaco. So many records are broken in Monaco and yes Monaco is beautiful. There is also a meet in Nice called the Nikaia (old Roman name for Nice) where I went as a kid and I saw Sergey Bubka and Said Aouita break word records.
Nikaia Grand Prix would be such a great meeting to compete at! so much history as you mentioned. Is it still being organized? I can't seem to find any newer information on it.
Great video
Congrats on running achievements and taking on Nick Symmonds in the 800M RUclipsr space. What motivated (motivates) you to push yourself to extraordinary limits? How did you find balance between speed vs. injury and regular life vs. Olympian life?
if possible can you do top 8 or even top 5 best indoor track races
Great debut for your Top 🎱 dude! I ❤️🤍💚 that you have the Hungarian meet on your list!!!! As a former D-1 distance guy, I agree Eugene must be anyone's list! However I believe Hayward was once historic, traded passion for glory.
Hoping to add Budapest23 to the list this year too 😏
Loved historic Hayward but can't count out new hayward either. Change is hard but it lays the foundation for great future growth of the sport in eugene
Thanks for your insight. I am from Northeast Ohio as well and can't believe you did not rank any Ohio meet????? Wait a minute..........that is right......Sadly we don't have any!!! 🤣 Best of luck at the upcoming Millrose games.
might need to create an Ohio meet myself!! Thanks for watching. Hope you can tune into Millrose and we can put on a good show
@@ClaytonMurphy800 YES PLEASE, OHIO MEET!!!!
Have you ever raced in Ostrava CZ? Best track in the world, Bolt said so too.
definitely a great meet!!
also what about top 8 best NCAA track races you have ran
Can you rank your top 10 USA 800m runners all-time? Also, do you wish you would have had more opportunities to race nick symmonds? I think his style would have made for some fun rivalry. Ive watched that 2015 race between you and him many times.
This would be tough and I would definitely catch some backlash but it could be a good one!
Lee Flames Invitational
Top 8 running shoes
Zoots Del Mar and Mizuno 🌊🌊 definitely in my Top 🎱
Buen video
Quisiera las nike dragonfly:(
I stay a loyal fan
appreciate you
Very nice video! Did you earn your money from sponsorships? Race wins? Or did you learn a job? And what's your opinion to doping, did you ran against people who did it?
I’m a Nike sponsored athlete so my full time job is training and racing for them, Race and championship bonuses are always nice to earn though!
I am a big advocate of Clean Sport and anti doping control and always do my part to keep track clean. Unfortunately have raced against dopers before-Bans work but we still need stricter control.
pepsi relays has the best atmosphere in the state
See you at millrose
You didn't have breakfast next to Lyles. Lyles had breakfast next to you dude🤣 2x trials champ
Brussels diamond league
quality meet nevertheless!
