      I don’t know about that guy but with the 19x I use a Tenicor velo 4 for no light and also the tenicor x300 Glock holster for if I have the light on there. Can’t go wrong with tenicor. The velo 4 was a game changer for me.

    I bought a 19x when it came out, after 3k rounds it is my favorite pistol I carry every day. I own 1911s, revolvers, several striker fired pistols of different brands, calibers. I can shoot this gun better than any other, I'd depend my life on it.

  • @uslawman1983

    I've had my 19X since it came out and have put a few thousand rounds through it without a single malfunction. Not one. I've been around Glock pistols since the early 90's and I own a number of them, but the 19X is one of my favorites. It's so trusted that its my nightstand gun for home protection duty.

    While I don't own a 19X I do feel the same way about my G45. It is hands down the best pistol I have fired and owned. All of the controls are right where I need them to be and it has been by far the most reliable. I've owned many other Glocks as well as Sigs, CZ and M&Ps. Love my G45 so I can see why you feel the way you do towards your G19X. Thanks for the informative video.

      Grab a 19X you won’t regret it. Dimensionally they are the same pistol as the G45 but the 19X feels and shoots much better. I can’t explain why but I’m not the only person that thinks this.

It was my wifes first shooting semiauto gun and she put the fist bullets right into the middle of the target! And yes the trigger is better than all the other 9mm Glock triggers! In my oppinion the glock 21 in 45 auto have also a very good trigger!

    I carried a 9mm for 34 years in LE in SoCal. Love my 19, 19x, 17, (and every Glock 9mm made and sold in the USA. I’m a Glock collector FANATIC). Since retirement however, all of my 9’s are now “safe queens.” I switched to .40s&w and I haven’t looked back. The Gen5 Glock 22 and 23 are my EDC concealed carry and “night stand” guns. The G22 for the home and the G23 for the waistband. I can handle the recoil with double taps on target. I love the extra “oomph” with a 180gr Gold Dot or HST.

    • @sgteduardo2146

      Active 20 yr LEO, carry a duty G17. Had a G26 for short time, sold that purchased a G30 .45. Great gun, little tough to carry in summer months (printing). Traded my G30 for a G27 .40 S&W. My spare carry mag is a G22, no extension sleeve needed. Love my G27. Some guys will say the .40 is a little snappy to shoot. I prefer shooting that over 9mm.
      Now I’m on the fence with a Keltec sub2000 in .40 S&W which takes Glock mags or the newer Smith & Wesson M&P FPC 9mm, only caliber available so far. The Keltec is said to feel a little toyish, plastic.

      Proof that cops know very little about firearms. Rube had a 9mm on his hip for 20 years, where the chances are higher it will be used in comparison to off duty/retired and now goes to 40…? You think the caliber matters after all those years? Never once spoke to the ER surgeons about what’s important?
      Don’t believe in magic calibers.

I’ve put roughly 1000 rounds through it so far since I got it at the beginning of July. It just fits me perfectly and is a great shooter. Love the color as well. & with my stock upper on?
    I get a gritty funky long 5lb plus pull...
    But, with my Dagger SW4 Upper on? I get a 1911 type smooth, very short 2.7lb pull & very short forced reset.
    5Odd. But I love having 2 uppers for it. One for Open Sights & one for my Holosun HE407c x2.

    The trigger on the G45 and 19X are the same , I'm going by The part #"s off the Glock website and I Own both weapons . I don't personally feel a difference at all but not all glock parts are equal. You could pick up someone elses Glock 19x and it feels different. So thinking there's a difference, it's possible.

    Waaaaay back in the early 70's HK came out with the frist polymer striker fired handgun... To Glock's credit, they took the polymer striker fired handgun to mainstream acceptance 👍

    Excellent points! Lots of owners don't know. I love the g19x believe it or not I prefer the stick trigger over the overwatch precision trigger. I however do carry gen 5 Glock 20 and I love that gun and it's a great shooter. My FN LS 509 edge is also a great shootet

      I honestly don't much care. If I had to pick, all black out sights would be my preference. Especially carrying a WML since night sights usually black out and silhouette against the light.

    Bought my 19x on my 21st birthday as soon as the gun store opened almost 3 years ago. Love the pistol and has about 3,000 rounds on it now. Have you ever shot the civil defense ammo? Kept having failure to feed stoppages with mine. No other issues though just that one specific ammo. Just curious. Love the videos! Especially the 19x ones, ur 19 x is probably the only one with documented high round count and updates. That I have found anyways. Thanks for the great content and have a blessed day.

      Ammo can be weird. Only way to mess with that would be the old spring/guide rod swap. May also work itself out over time. With over 3000, try it now.

      I’ll have to give civil defense another try soon. I’d be stoked if it ran after all the rounds iv fired through it. When I tried the civil defense when I got the pistol I thought that the 19x just didn’t like the shape of those bullets or that it didn’t like the fact how light the projectiles were. (Just a guess). Either way I’ll try them soon and update when I do Just to verify.

    Great video. I’ve got a 19X and the a G45 that is milled for an optic. The G45 has been my main EDC for a few years now and I’ve got somewhere between 15-18k through it. Ran a Langdon HKP30 and PX4 as my EDCs (both great) but kept coming back to the G45. A complete workhouse and it’s probably the gun that I shoot the best.

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  6 месяцев назад

      Nothing of significance. Maybe a handful of ammo issues. But nothing wrong with the pistol. It's certainly better than any XD ever made. That's for sure. I've never had a single 9mm XD, no matter the size or sub-model, make it through a single class without a malfunction.

    So many people bent about SIG getting the military contract.
    My personal bias against Glock, they do run, I just don't personally like shooting them, yeah it can be trained to, but I just don't see the benefit of the forced adaptation to a specified grip posture.
    Again just my issues with running Glocks.
    Personally I prefer a 2011.
    Have 2 P320s a compact and a full size XVTAC, great shooting pistols.
    Have Canik SFX, a SAR9, Girsan 92, Glock 17&19, Taurus G3&G2C, XDM elite and compact, prodigy, currently saving for a platypus. Have papaws 1911, and confiscated Luger, so I'm not a brand whore, and Matt is correct nearly every weapon I own is a copy off of Glock, but it's come a really long way from Glocks beginnings but Glock hasn't.
    Again just my $.02

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  9 месяцев назад +1

      High wear parts are the extractor, recoil spring, barrel, in that order. The last barrel I had to change had over 40K rounds on it. Depending on how often you shoot, the amount of mag dumps you do, etc.. that could heat the recoil spring up. You may be ready for a new spring in the next 2K to 10K rounds. Metal parts wear faster when you get them hot. So it's really use case depending. For instance. Two of the same AR barrels will wear out at the difference of many many thousands of rounds if one is shot mostly with full auto and the other a couple hundred rounds at a time over years.

    I really wanted to buy sig p229 , but I cant justify extra 700 over glock 19. I thought sig p229 gonna have less recoil due to weight, bit it actually has more recoil. Glock needs less maintenance too. I wanted all metal gun , but glock 19 seems to be solid choice. Maybe they'll make affordable aluminum receiver for g19 and Ill get that too.

    Hi. Thank you for the video. 1 question: Are you sure that 19X is compatibile with 17 Gen 5 Mag?? I heard that you can use only 19X mag. I´m from CZ btw, here it can be influenced by the available goods.😃

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  2 месяца назад +1

      The 19X is in fact, compatible with all G17 mags with the exception of the gen 5 baseplate. The gen 5 mag body is compatible. Basically, Glock had a brain fart and made the gen 5 baseplate different from all the others. So slap a $2 standard baseplate or any mag extension on a gen 5 mag, and you're good to go.

    19X and 45 have the exact same trigger group. There's no difference. If your 19X has a better trigger than whatever 45 you've held, the tolerances just work out better in your particular gun.
