i dont know if you still can do this, but back in day you could also use a iron banner weapon/heavy(since not using heavy too much it was best to equip) to get to 5/5, i haven't had time to try it this time tho so if anyone knows please give a comment here so other people knows

And or suppressor seeker rounds like the blessing mod on the pale heart that gives void weapon kills a chance to spawn suppressor seekers. Would be an amazing way to add a way to suppressor champs and extract suppression
Unfortunately it’s a D2 raid gun, and only the leviathan and D1 remakes have gotten catalysts, so we’ll probably never see that happen 😢

@@judelochlan Other way around for Pulses, my guy. High Impacts are the meta pulses for both PvE and PvP.

@@Drakrylos Depends on the content. In gms, where range matters a high impact is better. But in raids where kill time and ad density is important, rapid fire is far better.
@@sharkguy2340 I'd still find that debatable, in most cases a high-impact pulse will make short work of virtually any adds it goes up against. Pair that with a crowd control perk like, say, Dragonfly or Destabilising Rounds, and you're golden.

No, that one is high impact frame and shoots much slower. Rapid Fire frames feel much better, at least to me.

I think right now the main issue with Elsie's rifle is that it can't be focused, so it's harder to farm.

Tip: using iron banner transmogs on your armor also boosts the drop rate and xp gain.

Feels like any void primary weapon I get has to have this perk combo same with all other elemental based weapon perks i.e.
Solar primaries-heal clip & incandescent
Stand primaries-hatchling & slice
Arc-voltshot
Stasis-chill clip, headstone
I dont mind it but it does make the perk grind feel kinda formulaic
If imma use a pulse rifle in pve im just gonna use graviton lance or outbreak perfected lol
Graviton Lance is miles better, plus ad clearing. I also have an Elsie's with DB+DR that I think is better. I also have a Recluse with the roll.

@@adrxco6564 I've used it decently for close range fights in PvP, as a back up to Elsie's. Otherwise, yeah, I don't bother much with SMGs these days.
This gun is op in pvp the fast rate of fire makes it shoot like a automatic and just melts people health. I flawless solely using this weapon
Man there’s so many weapons with this combo at this point 😭 I’ll keep my SMG, HC, and auto I aint need a pulse.

@@user-fl4fc2gb1p personally, that archetype of AR feels terrible to me. Plus as a raid weapon it's less accessible to some people (even though you can get the chest solo and stuff)

With that being said, its from a pretty easy raid and you can easily farm riven on a LW week or something. I just like it personally, it feels smooth for me, but i bet the Pulse feels as good if not better, i just prefeer getting 5 red borders than fighting with the rng until i get what i want

Those two perks together are beautiful for any void build doesn’t really matter what gun it is the perks alone do the job
Still prefer Elsie in PVP far more. But then again I am doing very well with Red Death in iron banana which has the same ROF as Elsie and NTTE.
The issue I have with Rapid fire is that you are in the same range band with 140 HCs. You REALLY do not want to be in the same range band with the likes of Rose, Ace, Thorn etc in PVP.
A 340 / 450 just give enough range to put those 140 peek shooters in their place. Like Blast Furnace has 37 meters right out of the box. Only god roll 120s keep pace at those ranges.
And does this range issue matter in PvE? Well yeah, GM excision is all about long sight lines. A gun that can reach out to break those arms crits without needing you to be close is better since you can do it further away thus safer. Never mind the first part where enemies are up further as well.
As for this gun in the PVE role, well it is alright but why Bungo not giving a PVE trait still bothers to me no end, especially when other guns like Tusk of the Boar, Guiding sight etc have PVE traits! A PVP Elsie even if pushed into PvE content at least has a mini-demolitionist perk thanks to the trait.
I find in PvP I have preferred my Elsie's (HS+ZM) over the Claws. Feels better in handling, accuracy, and obviously range. Even my Blast Furnace (HS+KC) feels better. And both Elsie's and Blast Furnace have MUCH better recoil patterns. As they both have Full Bore, if I want the extra range, and Arrowhead Break putting the recoil at, or near, 100. Claws only felt decent, not good, at close to medium ranges where the recoil wasn't much of an issue. Anything Claws can do I feel a HC can do as well, but better.
Even in PvE I would prefer my Elsie's (DB+DR) and my Blast Furnace (KT+1FA) over anything claws has. If I'm using a legendary pulse rifle and not Graviton Lance or Red Death. Close range I have a Recluse with DB+DR.
While theres a LOT of weapons with this combo, this one in particular feels special by nature of being a rapid fire frame. My issue with all my SMGs is I wanna be safe in cover, but with SMGs I either gotta wait to get closer or come to them. With this I can slay out to way further ranges.

Heavy: Regnant adaptive frame grenade launcher, Edge Transit adaptive frame grenade launcher, Faith-Keeper precision frame rocket launcher, Geodetic HSM adaptive frame sword, Double-Edged Answer adaptive frame sword, Chivalric Fire caster frame sword, and Falling Guillotine vortex frame sword
I was going to ignore this weapon after seeing tons of content creators say it was mid in PVE. I tried out a few rolls and was blown away. This and Elsie’s Rifle are the best 2 void primary options since they have good range. Auto rifles don’t hit hard enough and the range is meh. Recluse, Shayura’s Wrath, The Title, and Hero’s Burden are fantastic but in high difficulty modes, no lack of range makes these almost useless.
Got Maahes handcannon with these two perks. I run it with Gyrfalcon, Stylish Executioner and dodge to go invisible and the combination of survivability and dps is awesome.

I got the PvP roll with kill clip, headseeker, and ricochet rounds. Unfortunately I did not get arrowhead brake but it does have a handling master work. Came with chambered compensator and HFR. I’m happy with it for PvP but I’m still farming for the PvE roll since I was unable to get it on Elsie’s while it was here.
I now have this combo with Hero's Burden, Riposte, and Claws of the Wolf. So fun

Can get the same combo on other void weapons in the same slot. Claws is a PVP weapon due to its pvp exclusive origin trait. Choose a void weapon with RB/Destabilizing and a PVE origin trait for pvp and use Claws where it belongs, pvp!

As soon as I got my first claws and it had repulsor I knew it was going to be interesting.

I do agree it's juicy but I feel that darkest before is better with enhanced incandescent and subsistence imho.
Ngl darkest before is amazing BUT I think this pulse is probably better because of repulsor. That can give a crap ton of survivability
@@CowKirbo if you want to have more survivability i think heal clip and incandescent is better than this, you have to reload yes, but is one les kill for the explosion and the healing, and for my experience overshields are kinda.... anyways sooo, i think this one was 45 hp, dont know how much will it take for cure to get to that but i think is overall better

wow it literally just has repulsor brace, elsies rifle gets that AND destabilizing rounds, graviton is better, the recluse gets that roll with destabilizing and is fucking JUICED.

Isn’t it insanely easy to get void shields on prismatic? I’d rather just get another stat boosting perk or another whatever for guns that have this combo available instead of running the combo imo, opens up room to work with on a perk

I'm waiting for the heavy ban hammer hit to The Call and rocket frames. They're great and extremely flexible. And that's why we can't have them as they are to Bungie.
