I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking at NVIDIA and other AI stocks. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
I bought into NVIDIA around September because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.
@@basharlawal6783 That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trends that are difficult for the untrained eyes to see.

In the UK I can’t seem to click on any video without seeing a Tesla car add saying quick buy now before 31st March to get a deal. Doesn’t sound much like prices are going up to me? Every time I look at charging stations on the street / charging stations I see very few Tesla’s compared to German/Japanese/Chinese/Korean/ French etc in the last 1-2 years. Also the 2nd hand ev market reflects heavily discounted cars that are 2/3 years old even in premium cars such as Porsche so in recession Britain there has to be an extremely good case for anyone to by an all new Tesla( really ?may be best described as a face lift from an external point of view )

Price of stock falls lower your price target,Price of stock goes up raise your price target.
Its a simple game.
If the delivery no is a miss then the current share price reflects expected growth, so if a miss I would expect shares to tank considerably and rightly so as market must adjust to reality.

I think 160 was the bottom. But if for whatever reason it drops lower, I would start a position on Tesla. I was out of the stock at the 240 level. I never bought it back because it was looking very bad every week. But at these prices, I don’t mind riding it for the long term

Better yet, upgrade their disclosures to real-time, let the little guy in on the action
Members of Congress, Senators and many staffers are required to file regular financial disclosures that are public information. Looking at them suggests they either don't have inside information or suck at investing. The wealth they tend to acquire comes from their large salaries and loopholes that essentially allow them to legally accept bribes (speaking engagements, book deals, undisclosed campaign donations etc...).
@@DoseBoi303 None of them outperform an index fund, so it's not terribly appealing.
@@txguy1973The speaking engagements you're referring to are set up by the pseudo-government talent agency with the intent of rendering political figures into a healthy financial status without paying them more, so they aren't vulnerable to bribes. It is kind of a loophole if you squint.

I was considering a Tesla due to the charger network, but now all the other brands can use them, so I imagine that causes queues, so I have paused in moving over to EV.
Don't worry, the other brands don't sell many EVs, in fact it seems like Tez-luh is rolling out more charging stations than legacy auto can sell EVs.
Also will you be charging from home or relying using public charging? If charging from home, you will save so much time not having to go to the gas station. Depending on how much you drive, not having to go to the gas station once a week saves up to 20 min/wk (depending on how far out of the way you go to get to your preferred gas station).
That's a very realistic price point ! Patience and share count always wins !

I don't have a large Tesla position and my average is just above $193. I was looking for under $180 to start a DCA and here we are. Patience and planning pay off.

We do discuss it at times on a high level in various videos, but its a much longer process that one video or even a few can cover it. Thats because it all comes back to your DD, plan, conviction, etc in the end and that takes time to work through, even for an old investor like myself.

Why are delivery estimate "misses" so critical? I don't get it. Some stock analyst on Wallstreet estimates that they will produce XYZ number of vehicles the following quarter, and when they do, stock goes up, when they don't stock goes down. Regardless, production is rolling along, ramping up. The estimate isn't even provided by the company often times. Fundamentals of the company haven't changed (except V12 this time). As a long term holder, I don't care if they miss wall street's projection by a few hundred, or even tens of thousand vehicles this quarter. They'll be making it up next quarter or the quarter after. So while everyone worries about if they made as many cars as wall street's guess from last year, I'm hoping SP falls so I can keep accumulating.

5.5 years working for Tesla. Man… what a rough 3 months. I’ll just say that my favorite Call Of Duty map is “Nuke Town.”
That sounds about right, Luke. I'm not a chartist myself, but I've seen a few that has Tesla bottoming at around $142. Some of the same people are also predicting that after that, with interest rates coming down it is nothing but sunny skies ahead. I'm not THAT optimistic yet as Elon is a wildcard and, unfortunately, I've lost a bit of faith in his leadership, if I'm being honest. Thanks for the "truth without the hype."

Price hikes are for Q2 and thus Tesla tries to push rope to improve demand for Q1. They are going to lower prices in April, again.
with the recent FSD and bot advancements, i will gladly spend my last bit of available cash on more Tesla stock. if we see it anywhere near 100 bucks again, i will liquidate other assets to buy more Tesla lol
lets hope for bad news for 3 weeks, a bad Q1 earnings, massive dip in the stock, and one last chance to buy before FSD news starts the next wave up :)

Tesla will go up a lot this next year. FSD12 is THE breakthrough, sales are up in Europe, the cybertruck and 4680 batteries are scaling fast, Energy 4x in one year and keeps growing, the lithium refinery is almost done, The semi truck factory is being build. And BYD only sold 300.000 cars this 1st quarter where Tesla will sell over 400.000. And Tesla did not guide for a delivery number and therefor can't miss.

FSD 12.3 has pretty positive reviews, I like to look at TSLA in terms of its batteries, solar panels, charging station lead, as well as starting to get involved in India's growing economy. TSLA is a 5-10 year investment but I think they will still be revolutionary. Not to mention optimus and automation would be a bonus. I'm invested in Elon's dream of moving humanity forward. You can hate his theatrics but he knows how to revolutionize, and TSLA is still running the show for EV's. This year is gonna be the time to buy, right now we are buying the fear and from what I hear that's when you make a lot money. Best of luck to all and buy the dips

I was a broker for many years. I must say, from a prudent investing stand point, this Hyper focus on a single stock is strange and points to the lack of understanding of the markets, more and more people have. If you are using your high risk portion of your portfolio (5%) then fine. But I'm listening and talking to people putting most or all of their investment dollars into TSLA! It is utter madness and can lead to financial ruin. It doesn't matter the name, the game is the same... diversify!

You only talk about tesla, but didn't go over the whole EV sector. Everyone else is struggling and other big name manufacturers have halted making their EV. All this problem is only in the short term, but I know you have to do your valuations and stuff. I just bought more tesla and I can't express the importance of looking at their competitors. Most of them are bleeding money just to stay afloat. After all is said and done, tesla will emerge as the winner in EV and guess what!?!?! Tesla is not even a car manufacturer first.
So all this episod is that tesla is a car company. Nothing else . Cheers 😂

Can't wait until it goes slightly back up to just below $200 a share, so I can sell it and accept the losses. Tesla will never retain their momentum they used to have at this pace.
They are sitting on billions in cash, their energy sector will grow, fsd, the model Y (even at that price) is the best selling car in the world (sells more than Corollas!) now imagine them ramping up the cybertruck, semi trucks, and launching an affordable car while margins increase on volume…if you’re swing trading tesla might not be a good stock to hold. If you have a 10-15 year horizon, DCA.
@@Speedytrip I still don't see how they're a trillion dollar company. They're just selling car that are delicately low in quality then promise FSD, energy and robots. Semi and Cybertruck are already launched. I'd say they're underwhelming and nowhere near volume products. The one volume product they desperately need is years away. This should've been here this year or next year...
Apple revolutionized everything, Tesla hasn't yet. Coca Cola sells a product everybody wants and loves, Tesla doesn't yet. What exactly is the thing(s) that make Tesla worth a trillion dollars? Not their cash pileup, that's for sure.

If you run with a Tesla in China you are looked down upon. There are a dozen better EV alternatives for them and Tesla gives the least for them for the same price.
