Nice channel. How much of your portfolio did you or do you recommend to allocate to Sofi? Ive been a Sofi investor for 2 years. I have 1 balanced portfolio and 1 where I am super concentrated on Sofi. Ive been trading it every earnings and keeping the lowest lots for long term holding. I have lots in $4 range which are forever holds. Some in the $6s which are also long term.
Let it fall to $5 and I will scoop it up, What would be the best 5 etfs for a beginner
Buy now, and if it falls buy more. Shares matter with sofi, not average so much…1000 at $7 is better than 100 at $4, In no order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. Personally I put down 2.5m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first million with a liquid 200k. handed it to a trader here in CA, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Tesla is a huge buy for me as the market bottoms.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular. They are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skills/knowledge to pull such trades off.

There was just a possible hint at a .02 EPS which is on the highest end of projections on Twitter from a post from Noto. Oh and after his hint, many analysts raised their guidance from .01 to .02. Remember the years guidance is only .04, so a beat and raise could be coming. Personally, I loaded the boat, worst case I just keep holding.
SOFI isn't overvalued when valued like a bank. Compare its price to book ratio to JPM price to book ratio. It is totally undervalued. Most critical thing to watch for is growth in its technology business as that is what would expand its hybrid multiple and stock price the most as more revenue growth shifts to the high growth technology business.
You compare SOFI to JPM? Apple to Orange. Dumb.

Noto bought at $6.68, so I'm looking to buy more around there. It's half bank, half fintech, with credit risk, so can't give it a full fintech value or you'd be overpaying.

Can you tell us any deep moat pieces of puzzle that makes sofi more valuable that no one is talking about if more going forward please share?
Wall St is not expecting the beat and raise lol - consensus is for less than one cent EPS, with estimates as low as -$0.02 EPS in the red!

Guidance raise will definitely happen!!
If earnings and guidance are spectacular I only expect a run up to $11-$12. If it goes higher that's fine because it'll increase volatility and drive up the premium on call options allowing me to make more money to buy more shares when it settles down.

The student loan business is marginal to SoFi as of now. The tech platform is WAY more important. Would be a nice tailwind if student loans come in higher again.

To be honest I think SoFI is a bank. It has a bank charter, it looks like a bank and it smells like a bank. It’s a bank. However, the difference is it’s growing much faster than any traditional bank. I think retail is expecting this to 10x “anytime now” and frankly no, it’s not. It’s not making anyone Rick, probably ever.

Luke I’ve been a member of your private group from its inception I’m wondering how long you will be contributing to the $250 portfolio? Are you going to continue until you hit 100k or are you going to cap it off in a year or 2?
I'll keep going for a long time into the future, well past $100k unless the group decides it doesn't want it anymore. But I want to show that you can have a substantial portfolio without making massive amounts money and you can only illustrate the massive advantage of compounding with time so I'm in it for the long haul unless you guys decide otherwise or something unforseen pops up.

Wow.... I am blown away by this presentation. I was an insecure 59 year old, in January 2018 when I started buying Bitcoin/crypto. Everyone though I was irrational. Most still do.
