Ronnie Lott is the best safety ever to play the game. I idolized this guy so much that I begged my high school coach to give me #42 even though I was a running back, a position which on my team only had 20s and 30s numbers. I was the only halfback in our league who wanted to hit the opposing defenders. It really freaked them out. My senior year I played strong safety and running back wearing #42. I got to meet Ronnie Lott a few years ago. He keeps his amputated fingertip preserved in a piece of jewelry. The only guys who could ever hold a candle to him are his USC teammate Joey Browner and Tampa Bay/Denver safety John Lynch. His opponents had nightmares about him.

That 1981 team was something else. Dwight Hicks and the Hot Licks. Super Bowl champs. Ronnie Lott was a force to be reckoned with!! Nice video

Can we get see if u can do Ken Riley Highlights of his efficient 60+ Ints. Cincinnati Bengals & the NFL Throwback Interception did poor at showcasing this man.
