Who dares compare any basketball player in the last 20 years to Chamberlain and Russell!! Hayes would have smoked the 1968 and 1972 Olympians! (When then next olympics come along I always write down the track and field records set in 1968 and compare. It is often laughable how little progress has been made!) Ali was the Greatest!! In high school, it was so cool watching him in any sport. At track, I'd watched him finish the 100-meter dash and turn around, and watch everyone else finish. I'm thankful I ran 800-meter plus races. Just saying! He was a talented individual and a tremendous guy!
