OLD SCHOOL NFL RANDOM CHASES & RACES TO THE GOAL WASHINGTON REDSKINS EDITION
I hate the Washington Redskins, but i love Riggo.
I was a speedster in my younger days and I tell you what, Tony Dorsett is the most beautiful prettiest runner EVER...I mean, he was fast AND quick, but he makes it look so damn good while doing it..... I can only wish that when I ran back in my days, my style look like Tonys..lol
Hooray for SERIOUS INJURIES!
Marcus Allen outran the geisal in 1984.
An idiotic move not just because it was a cheap shot but also Ray Brown risked fracturing his hand, forearm or elbow. Referee was Gene Barth. They were easily recognizable back then, too.
I like that he celebrated most of his tds with a sign of the cross. 🙏. My first favorite player. We had ucla tickets when I was a kid.
Because of Stick Em , Chester The Molester will NEVER be in the HOF, PERIOD!!!
Wait, you showed all of the plays except the best one? You skipped the 99-yard touchdown. WHY?
Wow, what a great video! Plunkett to Branch was a devastating combo. As Al Davis once said: "We have the bomb and we're not afraid to use it."
One of the most underrated backs of all time. No wasted movements, just a north-and-south runner, incredible vision. Easily one of the 10 best of all time, though no one talks about him anymore. Thanks for making this video.
JOHN RIGGINS WAS A TOUGH S.O.B I'LL GIVE YOU THAT
Dude was different
The baddest man to walk this earth
Our frist BS 20 Billy was a Beast Our second is the Goat when you put the number 20 on in the D you Better be able to back it up Like these men did
He definitely could've of played a few more yrs.But guess he said fuck it Tom's gone I'm out.
Bill Parcells named Dorsett the hardest Offensive player to scheme against. Blazing speed a very dangerous receiver and could cut block with the best of them if needed. Emmetts stats are better but as a Cowboy fan who watched them both I’d take Tony every day.
Do yards made and TD’s in the playoffs count for overall career stats
How is it that after 45 yrs...Lester Hayes is one Raider ,,,that i can remember. 😊 This video brings back a lot of memories.
Nobody outruns Darrell Green. Nobody
Thought I saw a few fans at the Giants game sitting on their hands when this happened. They must've been Yankees fans, apparently.
Great to hear Pat Summerall & Tom Brookshier calling NFL games they were great in the 70’s in the booth
The greatest football player ever that’s not in the hall of fame. What a complete travesty! I’m old enough to remember just how great he was! Shutdown corner straight out of hell!
Those Damn Raiders Sure Mess Things Up! Still Hail To The Redskins!❤❤
That was fun.
JimPlunkett what an athlete from humble beginnings to become a legend.
John a leader of men Just Win Baby!!He molted the Oakland Raiders into a winning machine.RIP
Vin Scully announcing. Doesn't get any better than that
Man, I miss those great old Raiders! I also miss the humility they all had by not doing a bunch of stupid celebration dances after they did what they get paid to do.
A great who spanned the 60s teams (especially the 1 - 13 '69 team) and the super bowl championship teams of the 70s. Had some of his football cards. Everyone's favorite Steeler. God Bless.
Was that 56 on the giants LT? Like around 2 min mark
Yup
Wtf I had no idea he passed this year. RIP to a legend, warrior and a gentleman.
Two legends of the Oakland Raiders The Snake to FreadBilleoff no one could stop this great duo.Just Win Baby!!
The Snake KenStabler old times ouaterback knows how to win.JustWinBaby!!
They also had Bob Lilly and Chuck Howley and Lee Roy Jordan. Who else. Lance Rentzel. Jethro Pugh and Mel Renfro.
Definitely one of the greatest at his position.
For those who point to Riggins low average per carry I just want to say that if Barry Sanders faced 8 and 9 man fronts instead of nickel and dime packages for a majority of his carries post age 30 he too would have a 3.9 yard per carry average. But Jim Brown… yeah he earned his yards the hard way. Although I do not believe Riggins was the great power back people remember him as I do believe he was a great balanced RB who had the power when needed as well as that acceleration gear few his size had during his era.
Dave Brown's 62 Int's ties him with Dick LeBeau for 10th all time an not even a sniff of the Hall of Fame.....also the video got it wrong....Easley swiped the record setting 4th pick 6....Brown had the 1st plck, Keith Simpson had the 2nd, Grown had the 3fd and Easley had the last one
My era, smashmouth, clothesline, snotbubblers. John Facenda with that great music on NFL films every week. Real football is gone for good and I miss every minute of it !!
LARRY BROWN-NUMBER 43- WAS ALL HEART! HE WAS "SWEETNESS" 10 YEARS BEFORE PAYTON GOT TO THE NFL.
Defintely among the Greats. He was fun to watch. Lots of tremendous runners in that era.
76 Raiders just awesome.....My fav team............
Greatest American running back in human history
High school coach used to yell "ring his bell!" And we tried to hurt our opponents 💯! Good days!
What a beast he was! Dual threat rb who could run your ass over. HOF credentials for sure
Put Don Doll in the Hall
The Hogs
When Gibbs says it's the greatest Redskin team ever than you know it was.
As a Steelers fan, I can't help but wonder how things would have turned out if he were on those Steelers teams of the 70s
William Andrews was a football god in South Georgia, a legend at Thomasville High School. I was a tiny boy when he was in highschool but I remember when William came to any opposing stadium people showed up to see him.
The camera man at the 00:32 mark knew the assignment. 🫡
