For those who wear uniforms...I found that the smell gets stuck in the armpit area. Soaking the armpit area with vinegar and baking soda and then rubbing it with my hands before putting it in washing machine has helped significantly. Also, dove advanced care cucumber deodorant is my favourite,
This trick is so underrated. This is the REAL trick to getting rid of the sweat smell on your garments. Works wonders. This or adding bleach size of a bottle cap should do the magic. Then toss them in a washer. Or add the cap size bleach in the chamber and wash.
I've been experimenting so many deodorant, body mists and perfume scents since teens and got to know that sweet fruity and flowery scents made my body ordor worse and since I love wood scents I tried it and it helps, now my shower products, deodorant, perfume and laundry detergent is cedar and bergemot scented. I still do smell and sweat every single day since I live in a hot climate but it helps.

As a highschooler the number one thing Im most insecure about is sweating. I sweat so much that I would have pit stains after putting on a new shirt in under an hour. I used to bring two shirts with me to school that looked similar so I could change throughout the day. I think part of the reason is because I have always been a big water drinker. I am constantly drinking water, which naturally causes u to sweat more. For some time I stopped drinking water because I was so annoyed with it, but I stopped that because I hate the way I feel when I don't drink barely any water. Now I just drink a little less than I used to.
if you notice that people have stopped calling you sweaty pig, or a smelly hobo then you know the deodorant is working no need to change it if you stopped noticing the scent, the main thing for me is to stop the bullying and name callings because of sweat and odor.
I've had underarm hyperhidrosis since high school. I still have it now, so for about 11 years ongoing. My biggest insecurity. I had to wear dark and loose clothes just to cover up. I'd sweat despite how cold the environment is; leaks like water 😔 Ive tried aluminium containing product called driclor, it really works well (holy grail btw). It helps prevent sweating thereby significantly reducing odor (Wetness attracts bacteria which causes odor). I came across your vid because I wanted to go back to the natural, non harmful chemical deo/antiperspirant if possible. Same. I wore a jacket over my school uniform every day all the time because even when the air conditioning was on and I was cold, my uniform would show my armpits all wet and sweaty. I hated it even wearing my jacket in the summer when it was hot in Hawaii. Thank god it’s not as bad now but no one in my family had any of these issues. I’m half Japanese and half Caucasian and no one on my Asian side wore deodorant.
I also have excessive sweat with hands, feet and under arms, when I was around 11 I didn’t have this problem but as I got older it started (I’m 16 now) and I wasn’t able to use regular deodorant anymore so I started using clinical strength, dove, degree, etc..but none of them worked, I’m very insecure about my situation as well so I want to thank you for sharing and for all the help and tips. If anyone has any more tip for sweaty underarms and odor please comment below.
Hey love I understand I have the same issue with my armpits, try the ordinary glycolic acid toner under your arms after showering let it dry down and then use your deodorant. Also in the shower try using and antibacterial soap
Idk, I tried unscented from native and I’ve never smelled worse in my life than when I was using it. Lol the smell was preposterous. Granted, I was using it when I was detoxing from aluminum deodorants, so idk.
Good video. From start to finish you've only mentioned "DEODORANTS" for someone who suffers from heavy sweat what you really need for your body type ANTI PESPIRANT to block the sweat and eliminate odors. DEODORANTS are just for the smell not for the sweats. Just a little recommendation in the future!
Hey Alison :) baking soda is super helpful for controlling sweat. I get mine from schmidts . I like their rose + vanilla scent the most, but here in Canada we don't have all the scents available. They also have lavender scent (I tried and smells good if you like lavender). One trick to applying it effortlessly is to warm up the deodorant with a hair dryer lol. The brand recommends warming it up against the skin but I found that doesn't give as smooth of a finish. Hope it helps! I am also a fan of secret gel xox

I love how baking soda deodorant gets rid of the smell and sweat and lasts aLLLL DAY ! HOWEVER, beware ! Some people may have a reaction to baking soda products such as THE DARKEST ARMPITS YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE . It took me 6 weeks to get my armpits back to normal . They were literally black . It looked like I didn’t shave . I kid you not . So make sure you’re someone who can tolerate baking soda on your skin !!!

Okay... I am a fan of home remedies I heard my grandma tell my mom's friend to rub limes in arm pits.... I know sound's crazy but it works for that day.

When my anxiety kicks in (which happens easily) I get stress sweat on my arm pits and chest area so I know how you feel. Haven’t found a solution for anxiety sweat, but for sweating in general I use a natural deodorant called Sams Natural. I don’t get body odor using it unless I’m anxious, which I think is quite common. Sweating around the chest area sucks because I can’t really put anything there..I’ve just been managing using paper towels.

I know this is embarrassing but don't let the people around bully you, this is human nature and we are looking for away to reduce the cause, we can't change our body in the way we want. At first it can itch but leave it on over night then wash off the next day. Then if your skin is ok use twice a week. Don’t need to use heaps :) I use it to control sweating

I have a similar struggle. I have overactive sweat glands all over my body, and I have eczema and dermatitis so my skin and scalp get oily. Last year I started detoxing from deodorants containing aluminum and it was rough. I find that lime juice works pretty well, but my skin won’t tolerate it if I use it everyday. For the past 8 months I’ve been using Pacifica’s underarm detox scrub everyday, and that helps A LOT to neutralize and reduce my body odor before I apply deodorant. Native deodorant in lavender rose seems to last the longest for me if I’m not sweating a lot, and I have learned that layering can help too; I’ll use crystal salt deodorant under another deodorant and that helps, or if I’m working out, I’ll use Thinksport deodorant over another deodorant. It’s like a whole science experiment! I’m still looking for something that might last longer, so I recently purchased Alleyoop deodorant. I might try the Suave aluminum free deodorant because I was curious about it, but it sounds pretty good now. Thank you for sharing this!!
Similar issues even washing 2x daily with double cleans most deodorant just does not work well I've tried so many at the moment oldspice is doing the trick for me

Try using Body Mint. Try using the Thai aerosol spray deodorant over your body & use the Thai Crystal stick for underarms first before applying a deodorant/antiperspirant.
Thanks for these helpful tips. I cannot be without a deodorant for too long. i get damp and the smell is not that pleasant. I've had corona virus for about a year and six months now and so my sense of smell is all distorted and i feel like my pits smell like onions because odors are all out of wack for me at this point so I'm super conscious of it when I'm not wearing a deodorant. i heard that coconut oil is a great natural deodorizer but unfortunately it didn't work for me when I tried it at nights. One You Tuber suggested castile peppermint soap and that is helping some. It's been about 5 days now and its pretty much better. I found that Amens powder which, is talc free, keeps the area fresh and dry but I'm yet to see what happens in the summer at nights. Once i go out the dove antiperspirant does a decent job but after learning about the aluminum issue, i will discontinue that and try the secret gel that u have suggested in the daytime. Hello so ive used every deodorant in my life the only semi deodorant that has work was a roll on one but every single day at school in the mornings i be sweating a lot and i smell all the reapplying and perfume doesnt seem to cover the smell what should i do is there any armpit pads or something so then in the mornings after sweating i can take off and reapply the deodorant?

It works longer,use a nice body spray,nice lotion and perfume.Wash armpits for a tleast 3 minutes each side,shower for 15 mins in total ,use hot water!Get rid of bacteria on arms,use baking soda and apple cider,it changed my life.Get rid of bacteria on chlothes using lysol,then wash with laundry detergent like downy.Or to get rid of bacteria use apple cider vinegar,then rinse and wash over with down the rinse and spin.Hope it helps

I had laser surgery. It helped with sweat but not with the smell. Diet is the only thing that helps. Strict no carb/ sugar. High leafy green.
Unscented deodorant is way better sis. Using a scented deodorant can triggered the smell based on my experienced☺️

Similar issues even washing 2x daily with double cleans most deodorant just does not work well I've tried so many at the moment oldspice is doing the trick for me
Old Spice I know is targeted towards men. But I think they've come out with more unisex scents. There is one that almost smells vanilla like.

Try using Body Mint. Try using the Thai aerosol spray deodorant over your body & use the Thai Crystal stick for underarms first before applying a deodorant/antiperspirant.
Thanks for these helpful tips. I cannot be without a deodorant for too long. i get damp and the smell is not that pleasant. I've had corona virus for about a year and six months now and so my sense of smell is all distorted and i feel like my pits smell like onions because odors are all out of wack for me at this point so I'm super conscious of it when I'm not wearing a deodorant. i heard that coconut oil is a great natural deodorizer but unfortunately it didn't work for me when I tried it at nights. One You Tuber suggested castile peppermint soap and that is helping some. It's been about 5 days now and its pretty much better. I found that Amens powder which, is talc free, keeps the area fresh and dry but I'm yet to see what happens in the summer at nights. Once i go out the dove antiperspirant does a decent job but after learning about the aluminum issue, i will discontinue that and try the secret gel that u have suggested in the daytime. Hello so ive used every deodorant in my life the only semi deodorant that has work was a roll on one but every single day at school in the mornings i be sweating a lot and i smell all the reapplying and perfume doesnt seem to cover the smell what should i do is there any armpit pads or something so then in the mornings after sweating i can take off and reapply the deodorant?
this comes from someone who smelled so disgusting.People now say i smell so good,like the whole room.Guys watch vieos,do research,watch people like chloe yazmean,watch her shower routines,she knows her thing.Females use dove men deordaront!!! It works longer,use a nice body spray,nice lotion and perfume.Wash armpits for a tleast 3 minutes each side,shower for 15 mins in total ,use hot water!Get rid of bacteria on arms,use baking soda and apple cider,it changed my life.Get rid of bacteria on chlothes using lysol,then wash with laundry detergent like downy.Or to get rid of bacteria use apple cider vinegar,then rinse and wash over with down the rinse and spin.Hope it helps

None of them worked for me. I don’t mind “wetness” my goal is smell cover up which I can’t seem to find. Only primal pit paste worked for me but now they changed formulas. Any ideas out there?

Can cause a red rash so don’t use heaps. At first it can itch but leave it on over night then wash off the next day.

Yes I have tried it due to the hype. I personally think it won’t cover my body odor and it also leaves a white mark and white crumbs on my armpit.
