The small giant. Don't impose ideals; feel what the product offers. Play easy, play hard.
this thing is 2/3 the weight of the s5ii. thats about half a pound. Does that really make a difference when you have the same large lens sticking out of it? I suspect these type cameras are for m43 lenses to go all the way.
Why is the Fujifilm X100VI so well received and Lumix S9 becoming a drama? Hardware and software wise the Lumix is superior at least on paper. But why so many hate?
S9 is not going to be suitable for client’s work. For that matter S5iix is definitely my preferred choice. Thanks for your informations on the S9. No doubt S9 sure has some unique features that are very helpful for some people. Everything has its limitation!
i can’t wait to see your zve1 comparison video. what lens would you recommend for S9? so if you are using a prime lens, you can’t zone in like a clear zoom? Does digital zoom work in apsc mode? How is the 120 fps HD video auto focus ?
The main problem I see with the S9 isn't the camera. It's the size of the lenses. The 50mm 1.8 is huge on that camera. If the fast primes could be smaller, this camera would make so much more sense.
Idk much about cameras but from what I seeing with this camera I feel like most of the drama from this camera is because the normal segment being professional use and people that more advanced in the camera use is not the targeted segment here I see it more like a beginner without a budget or a smaller vlog cam yea they should probably make it weather sealed better but for what I think the segments is it may be a good camera I don’t plan on getting a camera but if they made a version that was better weather protected I would probably chose that if I chose to get a camera because it relatively small and it can take pictures with luts and fast transfer and that would probably be all I needed In a camera

kensei, how do you switch from C1/2/3 in photo to C1/2/3 in video. Will I need to go into the menu. I cant see a photo/video switch, so Im assuming that C1/2/3 are just one set of saved modes.
Do you think it is possible for Linux to do a firmware update to increase or remove the record limitations? If so, how likely do you think they would do that?
The S9 is NOT a pro camera. It's a traveling vlogging camera. It's for those who just want to be a RUclipsr or Tik Tok. They have no interest in doing profissional work. The lack of EVF is due to the camera not needing one as those who recored themselves can't look through one when talking to the camera. Even when they take pictures they have a screen to look at. If your looking to buy a pro camera to do client work then get the S5ii/x or G9II if you're just wanting to be a RUclipsr and taking selfie then the S9 is for the camera to get

I can picture it now, the S9 + 35mm 1.8 on the gimbal for the couples shoot, looking amazing ! And if anything goes wrong on ur shoot with the S5ii, you have the S9 as the backup ! I know you see it ! Get that pre-order in buddy.. The S9 is for YOU ! lol.

I’m sorry, you keep making excuses for this camera. It’s a total dud. Should have been priced the same as the Dji osmo 3 at around 500 bucks. Dji does everything this camera does, some things even better. the only lumix advantage is the sensor size.

Because Lumix made it too many cuts in the name of size and then didn't want people saying negative things about it.

R8 does 10bit internal and Raw external, Sony a7iii is nowhere near R8 for video. Battery life however is low on the R8.
