Gary Oldman is one of those rare actors who vanishes into a role, rather as Alec Guinness did. I frequently have to remind myself who's acting a role when it's him. 32 years after JFK came out, I still do that with his Lee Harvey Oswald.
I watched this show on apple tv a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it immensely, I watched every episode back to back like a movie. I will def be watching season 2.
One reason this show is such a hit is the vast number of interviews the cast has done--all of them. They have really been working the hustings....(and it's a very well done series--will set the standard for those to come).
The Problem 500 miles scene is unbelievably clever and so funny . Delivered perfectly by Gary Oldman . One of those great moments which keep us going 😂😂😂superb
