    I subscribed the channel within the first 10 seconds of listening to that “humming”… isn’t that how the joy, smile and the excitement of riding should bring to all of us? Whatever we ride… from a push to dirt.. from cafe to bobber… I reckon that joy hidden behind that humming is what we all need !

    Really enjoyed your video mate. I'm in a similar place to where you've been in that I've been riding triumph Daytonas for near on 15 years. Gotta say that as much fun as the triples are, they do take their toll on you physically as you get too old for them! 50ish and it's time to change to a cruiser. Man I'm just loving the look of these Indian scout bobbers. Your clip has really helped me along with that decision so cheers mate 👍

      Really appreciate this comment my friend. I feel yea. Honestly I which I could just own 1 of everything because I just love bikes so much. While the Bobber doesn't touch the thrills of the Daytona or Street Triple, there is just something about riding it that is so damn cool. Its just a different experience, I don't find me missing the speed and agility, I find those being replaced by the love of the sound, the feeling of the V twin and the sense of comfort and how relaxing a ride is now. Its really great. Plus if I want...its got 100hp and 78lbft and love to rev out. =)

    You'll love it. Have the same one. It's the same color year, except chrome spokes. Might want to keep the extentions. I'm under 6 ft. I was having cramping issues until I put the extensions on. I just don't know what exhaust to put on (still stock). At 55 years old and several bikes under my belt this is my favorite.

    I totally understand you, I've had sportsbikes and used to love how flickable in the corners they were and how fast they were, but when I reached my 40's i went over to cruiser bikes and Vespa's, now at 48 years old I don't own any bikes and have an MX5 ND 1.5 for the weekends, but I do sometimes think about owning an Indian Scout, always liked those bikes, trouble is here in South East England just outside London there are so many potholes and bad drivers using their mobile phones at the wheel that I am not so sure about riding bikes anymore. Enjoyed your video of your new bike, hope you have many happy years riding it, cheers, Paul.

      Thanks for sharing Paul. Yea I really did love the agility of the Street Triple RS. I can appreciate the appeal of a sport bike for sure. My problem is I just want all the motorcycles, and a garage to store em in lol. Cheers.

      Oh yes I know that feeling, if money was no object, I'd have a Ferrari 458, Bentley Cont GT, MX5 ND, Triumph Bobber or Scout Bobber, Ducati 899 and a Vespa all sitting side by side in my huge garage next to my mansion, lol, but very grateful for what i have now, cheers Will, look forward to your next update video after living with the Scout for a while, take care out there. @@motowillg5398

    It can be a weird adjustment having to switch between motorcycles from different brands. However, you handled yourself well despite all the new features and the different performance you had to get used to.

    Nice to hear actual owner feedback on this bike. In my experience as a six-footer, the mini apes and forward controls are what sets this model above all the other Indian Scout variants comfort-wise.

    Your on my dream bike bro sat on one in the dealer last weekend had to pry myself off it with the Mrs just telling me to buy it . I could afford it but need to make better financial decisions right now as the wife is still in college and may stop working soon so for now I’m gonna live through you while I ride my old Honda shadow

    Any reason why you didn’t stay with triumph and pickup a bobber or speedmaster?

    • @motowillg5398
      @motowillg5398  9 месяцев назад +1

      No real reason honestly, if I could I would still have a Triumph. I really love them. When the garage gets bigger someday I will be adding another Triumph to the collection. Biggest reason I picked the bobber was price. I wasn't buying new this time, there were few Triumph bobbers in my area and once I test rode my scout I was hooked. Since it came with a lot of the modifications done to it already, had been inspected at my local Indian dealer and was cheaper than the Triumphs I was looking at I just couldn't pass it up. The color was exactly what I wanted too.

    So funny I am soo impulsive and bought a brand new 22 Triple RS leftover 2 months ago and feel just like you said you felt about the bike. I want a Scout Rogue now so bad. 😢😢. I'm 52 all set w my fast bike times at this stage of life.

      Yeah the street triple is an incredible machine. There are times I do miss the absolute insane acceleration and handling. Still think its an incredible bike, like all motorcycles but this Scout is just special. I just love riding it.

    Nice bike....much vibration?

    • @motowillg5398
      @motowillg5398  10 месяцев назад +1

      No its really well damped. You can feel the Vtwin in the seat but on the bars its really smooth. My old Triumphs used to vibrate so much that the mirrors became useless and you couldn't see anything in them. But even at 65mph everything on the bars is smooth and calm.

    75 inch lbs of torque on a bobber... And 700 cubic inches on bike is crazy lol

    • @motowillg5398
      @motowillg5398  2 месяца назад

      XD 700 cubic inches would be quite the motor. I believe its 69 cubic inches or 1133cc. 100hp and 72ftlbs. Revs so far out too. Its weird from the cruisers I have ridden before.
