    One of my dream bikes! The mini apes that come standard on the Rogue & Twenty make it feel perfect in my opinion. Absolutely rips at 4500+ but tame enough down low that I didn't feel overwhelmed as a beginner rider. Can't wait for demo days again next year lol.

      @blickybobby I got my scout Rogue a year ago and I started riding 2 years ago on a little Honda monkey with 9 horsepower and I had so many people try and tell me that going to the scout with 100 horsepower would be too much. Yeah I proved them wrong. It's such a great handling bike and the power delivery is perfect for a reasonable beginner and is also a perfect bike to grow into. It has more than enough power than I'll ever need. I have 12,000 miles on it and I've had it for 10 months. It's such a fun bike.

      physically, its a really good size for you. but that's a lot of power if your a newbie. I highly advise taking a New Rider course first - and if you do buy this bike, keep it in rain-mode for a few weeks.

    21 Scout ABS - installed a set of Bassani 3" slip ons and the cold air intake upgrade and ECU reflash and woah Nelly!!
    Also, the rear shocks were terrible no matter the pre load adjustment, so I installed Progressive 444 and it made the bike rideable LOL
    I ride alot of Texas back roads and the stock shocks were so bad, I almost sold it. I hit some pot holes so bad, the pain shot up my back into my neck and hip, i hurt for several days after. I also installed some Kuryakyn mini floor boards and the extended reach seat. All that really made a difference.

    Not gonna tell people they're to big or too small for X. But considering how low the bike is, you'd be more comfortable on the SB if you're under 6 and over 4. If you're under 5 you're feet are floating and probably should think twice about riding any bikes.

      Dean Speed sissy bar which will allow attaching a back bag and maybe even an extra fuel canister - Biltwell Exfil bags. I'd also install some better rear shocks. I did the Progressive 444. I also installed a Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing which can be a bit fiddly to get adjusted right. I also recommend the Indian LED headlight which is a huge upgrade.

    *Should one sell their Sportster and replace it with a Scout Bobber?*

    • @NicePantsLance
      @NicePantsLance  7 месяцев назад +2

      I personally think the Triumph Speedmaster 1200/Bobber 1200 is the better upgrade from a Sportster.
      If a high-revving vtwin with 100hp is what you're looking for, you can't go wrong with the Scout though!
