I dint think there's anything on the market today that looks that good. A stunner.
You're not wrong
There is one tho, the scout bobber sixty👌
For the price too? What a deal
My ride is a 2019 Indian Scout Bobber ... which I darn near "unbobbered" and kinda made it my own. But that's what great about this platform. Fast, powerful, and easy to modify. The 1920 seat does pull you up off the bike so your sitting "on it" rather than "in it" as you did with the other bobber. I'm an Indian rider for life ... amazing bikes. I modified my seat and also suspension - and it became a WHOLE different ride for me.
What suspension mods did you do?
@@mattshaggs2931 put on Progressive 444s
Do you have an insta? I'd like to see what you did with yours
When you knocked on the seat and it legit sounded like a peice of wood 😧
12:39 "One day I'll get on one of those big boy bikes" -scooter rider, also me
lol
Hey man scooters have two wheels too. You're alright in my book man!
@@digitalmotorhead5323 hell yeah! Thanks 🤙🏼🛵💨
I test rode one with a comfort seat installed. Makes a huge difference, but I agree with the wind and in the upright position. Really does beat on you. But overall, very fun to ride.
Santa has such a cool accent. “FABULOSO”
I bought the first 2020 Twenty in Sage Green at my Indian Dealer. I loved the standard bobber, but this bike definitely feels a million times better with the mini apes - particularly if you're shorter so you're not in an odd stretched out / uncomfortable position. The aftermarket exhaust makes this bike a total animal when you hear that rumble. It's extremely smooth and handles great; it IS a draw experience though. In its stock configuration you'll need a break after about 2 hours of riding, but I suspect suspension changes will make that better. Either way, I'm a crotch rocket guy 100% and I have zero regrets. If you passed the motorcycle safety course, you can ride this bike no problem. Very forgiving, predictable power, and well centered weight.
The scout 60 is an awesome bike at a budget price that ISN'T a punch to gut just because it's at a price point. It's cheaper, but it still feels great. The Bobber is simply more of that experience with a little extra spin on it, and a higher pricetag.
My son has the one and I ride it once in while.
It got much more comfortable after he threw a Corbin on it. Also holds you when you get on it.
The bars look a bit more relaxed but the wind, you're totally right man!
Love the editing!
I just rode the Scout Bobber and thought the same thing about coming off the seat. Definitely need a deeper seat on this bike. Tons of torque
My buddy just bought one of these and I took it for a spin...damn thing is FUN to ride
Stunning masterpiece!!
I almost bought a scout bobber in 2019, but bought an Iron 1200 instead. The scout is a more refined bike for sure. But I knew I would outgrow it. Harley had the Freedom Promise, so I couldn't pass that up being a new rider.
I now have a 2019 Sport Glide I just started making videos with. Couldn't be happier!!
Did the same thing with the 48. Put 13.5k on it in 8-9 months before the upgrade.
What's the freedom promise? Im looking for a bigger highway capable bike because where I live highway travel in a neccesity. Was looking at an iron 883, but idk if it has the power to do highway travel frequently without possibly blowing it up 😂
@@ThelronReaper harley will give you a refund on the bike you purchased and put that into another of bike of higher price if you choose to upgrade. I did it with the roadster and have recently upgraded to the low rider s. I do believe it's only for sportys though.
@@davemitchell9203 for sportsters and streets. I am not sure they're doing it this year due to Covid
@@davemitchell9203 so like if I wanted to I could basically use the money from the last bike to buy a bike of better quality? That sounds pretty fuggin cool tbh
It beat the Chevy Malibu, i'm sold. Thanks for another good review man.
"oh my gawd" count - 20. Bike is awesome, nice clean ride review.
Excellent review Mr. Blockhead. The bike's styling is super awesome and the comments about the stiff seat and suspension were honest and straight-forward. Indian bike maker Polaris Industries needs to invite riders to beta-test their product before releasing it to the public. I think such a process will not only get the biker community involved, but also build a rare and humanizing relationship with a huge industry. The community input will help produce an outstanding ride and make the Indian brand legendary again.
I have a 2018 Indian scout bobber and the first thing I did was change the seat to a Corbin seat. Also changed the bars to the mini apes and put forward controls for a more comfortable ride. Great bike had mine for a year.
That sales rep...he espikin di language af luv🤨😎👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 awesome vid bro
That sticker on the tank is killing me 😂😂😂😂
I have this bike. I have the comfort seat, regular scout handlebars, and the memphis shades batwing fairing on it. I love the bike so much
A beautiful bike! I do like the one in the back brown/red colour It looks unique
I just bought mine and I love it I can keep up with crotch rockets but also look good with the cruiser bikes get compliments often on the look
Sounded like a fun, painful ride lol. It's like throwing risers on our TC softails, the wind just beats you up, takes the joy out of it after awhile on those windy days but I always come back for more.
finally a good review
Definitely the best looking version of the scout line. I love the bars. The seat looks good, but I’d probably replace it with a Corbin
It’s time for Indian to make something to compete with the Dynas and Softtails of HD.
Couldn't agree more. The Chief Vintage/Dark Horse is what Indian says competes with the Heritage, but its the same size frame as the Springfield and Chieftain. Main differences are rake angle between those three bikes.
MTBAjK 610 Yes a all new frame with good suspension and brakes with the Powerplus 108.
@@thevtadventure1062 Agreed, the PowerPlus 108 is an amazing engine. I don't care for the exhaust note stock or with a set of RC Components slip-ons, but I've heard TAB Performance on it sound great.
That's in the rumor mill...supposedly there's a prototype that allegedly could be equipped with either the 111/116 OR the 108 in the same chassis.
good news, the new chief looks like that’s what it going for!
Like to see it with a stage I and a seat. Not an Indian guy but I do like the simple speedo/bars setup. Keep up the good work brother!
New rider in the market. First bike, and I want it to be this! Wow
Lol good luck
Updates to my sixty. Racetech front springs, Fournales rear air shocks, mini floorboards, EJK electronic fuel injection, Bassani slip ons, Roland Sans Enzo two up seat.
More power, comfort, lean angle and looks!
It looks awesome
I test rode one about a month ago and I loved it. Same setup too, I agree the seat let's you slide but I found it very comfortable to sit on. I also disagree with the wind, I found the air coming at me wasn't overbearing at all. Would I want some kind of fairing of I was riding cross country? Sure but an all day or weekend cruise I thought it was just fine.
Beautiful and fun bikes.
thanks for the info i myself want the twenty but after your video I'm adding some extras
Great review!! I'm looking to get one of these, still not convinced between this and a triumph bobber...hmmmmm🤔🤔.
Great looking bike through but that seat looks brutal!!
I own a 2018 bobber. I added the comfort seat, and tighten the springs on the shocks. I also raised the bars by 2", rox risers. I have a 180/65-16 Metzler tires. Witch im very comfortable riding, even more with my wife on the back.
I own the 2021 bobber twenty, I adjusted suspension as much as possible for smoother ride, but diffently going change out, the seat I agree destroys your back on long runs, same without flaring rough on highway drives..hopefully future models will correct these simple fixes as the bobber twenty over all is awesome bike especially for up my size 6’3” 240lbs 😅
Awesome Video
I chose the Triumph Bobber Black over Indian. Just like the ergonomics more and I find it easier to modify. My buddy rides a 2019 Scout Bobber though, still a cool bike!
Love the look.
the good think about a bike is that you can change it to fit you, most of the time. good vid
I clanged that bell and patreon a long time ago brutha . Your welcome.
Awesome bike ! Would like to see it with some Short Shots or some Sweepers.
Damn, thats a beautiful bike
I love that bike it look so good
I love the seat great for around town. That’s the bobber they should have always made
such a good looking bike
I love it!
Have been slowly getting into motorcycles, and if I had motorcycle driving license and A LOT of money to dump into a bike, this'd be it honestly. It just looks incredible. The engine is by far my favourite part "looks-wise"
I like how you say "sup due" 8:53 , 9:27 , 10:07 lol, " sup scoot" 12:32. Great review.
Considering your back from like last year I think, makes me think of air suspension for the bobber seat, I don't know if it is any good, but maybe look into it on one of those three bike builds.
I love the bike the seat thooo I’m probably gonna try to install a new on
Hey can you do the Indian Scout next? Lookin to buy one but theres not many quality reviews like yours out there. Thanks in advance.
I had the same opinion about the seat when I did my review. I liked the bike overall, but I would definitely change the seat and the mirrors.
You have great camera work. I am seeking a camera with a better field of vision for my own videos. I also want a camera that the mic plugs directly into.
I've heard a lot of people talking about sliding back on the seat under acceleration so for me its the question of getting the 20 and changing the seat or the standard scout and changing the bars.
Looking at the accessories online, they have a comfort seat and fox suspension. Looks like those options are a must hey...
This makes a great first bike
Did a 150 mile ride with this bike today. Shocks had problems, but nothing compared to the amount of pain the seat caused. Amazing bike, but on the last 60 miles i had to stop every 10 miles to stand up for a couple minutes because the pain was so bad. The high torque plus the wind pushing your butt down on the seat added to it.
I'd prefer a spring style seat since I have disc issues and a bullet shell ferring would look awesome on it.
I love my scout! However the seat looks crap on this one! Great review!
I still think the Scout is better overall. I like having more than 2 inches of suspension in the back and I like having a rear fender that stops the mud from shooting directly into my back.
Are the wheels the tubeless spokes? I dig the look I just hate dealing with tubes
I want to try someday!!
Test rode one earlier this year. Neat bike but it’s definitely a rough ride.
I like the look sounds good on video. But is it a better choice to start on instead of a Harley? I’ve been looking for a bike for a while and going to get my license soon. But want to make sure. What you think man??
I am looking at the Indian Bobber and the Triumph Bobber for a second bike. I have a Street Triple 765R now and will not get rid of it. Looking at a "cruiser" style. Been riding my wife little Honda Rebel 500 to work on Fridays as a change in pace.
Hey he remembered the little coin sound XD
You just sold me my next bike! Cheers!
Hey (block) gave you tried The Kawasaki 650 Vulcan S??
This bike looks amazing you barley will have to customize it. Best looking solid stock bike
My wife has a Scout. I had a custom seat made for her. She put the raised bars and windshield on and Luke’s it a lot better. She has about 14000 miles on it. Her longest day on it was a little over 500.
How do you like this over the sportster? And what do you think of the customer support/quality of harley lately? Imo harley has really been letting me down lately maybe just my dealership idk.
Is it comfortable for long rides 45 min to an hour max, also how would you compare it to the iron 1200
Cool looking bike but .. that exhaust needs to be changed . It's huge . I agree with your take on the seat .
They gotta make the EPA happy. What we do will make us happy
@@CactusJack252 Exactly. Manufacturers have to deal with too many regulations. It's ridiculous.
Ye...the cat is in the front of the slip on instead of in the header pipe, hence the length...but that also means it's easy to take the cat off
@@mattshaggs2931 passing regulations while making it easier for us to break regulations, I like it
Indian Chief dude hop on 👍👍
Hey there bud. Wondering what bars you ya e on your 883, and wether you needed to replace any cables or wires to install them? Just handed mine down to my stepmom and the bars are too low and too far forward. Rotating them did not help much with the stock riser, and the risers I ordered hit the tank.
With that seat and handlebars , do you think it something you could get use too?
I really like that bike
I got that bell jingling don't you worry :) I really like the scouts but at 6'7 I'm a bit large sadly :(
would you recommend this bike to a new rider, i was thinking about the rebel 500 but im 350lbs 511 and i do want to ride on the highway.
From what i can tell major differences between scouts are the handle bar height. Is there any other differences that would help me make a decision on which one to get? I'm in the market to buy one pretty soon and cannot make up my mind. I am 6.1 ft. Thank you.
is the street bob better or worse than the Indian bobber re lean angle? Thanks
Yup! That seat looks brutal! I ride a Le Pera silhouette solo seat that’s looks good on my bike but the butt burn is real...not much for the exhaust either...
At about how many RPM’s do you switch to the next gear ?
Great looking bike I’m only 16 and I really really want something like this and I wanna learn how to ride it seems hecka fun
FOX SHOX and a CORBIN Solo Saddle Seat fixes most of those problems. I’d also get grenades
Would you say this bike is more like a Streetbob or soft tail slim?
Always thought about gettin a solo seat for my scout but your experiences were my thoughts. Feel like youre going to fly off the back of the thing lol
I changed over to the 1920 solo seat on my Scout Bobber and love it. It lifts you up what feels like a couple inches which is helpful to taller riders like me. I have found that on long ides it is actually more comfortable than the stock seat because its wider and spreads your weight out. I have not been worried about slipping off the back, it grips you pretty good......and the best thing, it just look great!
Im looking to get my first bike so just researching alot of bikes. Im 6'3 230lbs would a small bike like this fit a tall person?? Also can you by this bike without the pan seat and maybe get lower on the bike... thankyou for your videos im soon to be new to all this so not looking for like a street glide as a beginner. Anyway thanks again
I am Totally liking the Odometer. Hit Corbin up for a saddle with a high rise backside to stop you from sliding off.... lol. Ya, the wind -thing , takes a bit of getting used to on short 50 mile jaunts, wouldn't want to do a 400 mile leg on the highway without the wind screen
I would like to see you ride and do a review of the Harley fat Bob
Would you recommend it as a first bike?
What's the difference between the scout bobber 20 and the Indian scout trim?
The regular scout has 2 extra inches of suspension so it should be a smoother ride
Indian offers a much softer seat to the Indian Bobber 20. I do love the looks of the seat that you demonstrated. BUTT You definitely changed my mind even considering that seat for the look. I put too many miles on I will definitely go with the optional softer seat.
Nice video. Now you kinda know what the old timers had to deal with (Rigid Frames).
Squeeze your knees up against the tank to help hold on, that 100HP is insane for such a light bike. The exhaust, well, yeah. Slap some V&H twin slash on and it wakes up the neighborhood.
I just bought the 20. So far so good. Mine has a different seat.
I got a Honda rebel 500 but for my next bike it's either gon be a scout or a Sportster
Wait time now is like six weeks, I think? I got lucky when I walked in the dealer last weekend and (the exact bike) I wanted had just showed up. It was ordered and the dude backed out! Just waiting on my slow ass bank now, wana slap em! 💥
I have a 2020 Scout Twenty. I already change the headlight to pathfinder. Replaced the solo seat with a Corbin Solo seat. Best of all I bought Roland Sands Slip ons with modified quiet baffles. Bike was too loud with no baffles, and not loud enough with non modified quiet baffles. The sound now is perfect. I say is 8/10 loud as compared to 11/10 with stock Roland Sands slip on. Overall, the ride is a bit stiff in rough roads but smooth roads, this bike hauls ass.
Can you post pics ?
Wow.... Bella scout😎😎
Who did the PDI on that bike? The mirrors! Grrrrr.
