I lived the full time life when I was younger in 2 different Airstreams. Now I am 65, and have resigned myself to staying in my dbl wide. I have a 23 ft tt for vacay. Too old for boondocking, although I know I could do it. I love the mini stove and watching how they prepare their meals. But I think they need some quality protein from meat.

Doesn't it make your heart joyous to know how much Kamp loves playing in the snow! My dogs are "enjoying" the rain, rain, rain on the Central Coast of Oregon. They still love to walk in nature, no matter what. We even go out in storms (not in the trees) on beaches where the surf is far, far away.

My partner, dog and I are moving into a camper van by the end of the year. It's always been our dream. Your videos constantly keep me motivated and excited about what's to come. We live in NW Oregon and can't get enough of being out in the wilderness here. It's been so hard these past few months and the current issues have us anxious about our future plans and the timeline we wish to complete them by, but watching your achievements seriously helps us so much by staying motivated. This is a good time for you guys to think about your future while self-isolating. This will be over some day. I heard your comments about owning some property with some space. There's a ghost town up in western Montana that might fit the bill. They don't advertise, but It's an off grid community surrounding Garnet , about 45 minutes SE of Missoula. It fits the criteria your looking for, about 6,000 ft. and loaded with pine trees. The land is still reasonably priced, which is rare in the area. During the summer months you can sell your craft products when the ghost town is open to the public. It's a few hours drive from where you are now.

Once again, the second I started the video, my anxiety lowered. I greatly appreciate that, especially right now. Hope you all stay well and safe, especially when getting supplies. Barron may have been cold while making the food, but it looked amazing. Kamp was bestest boi, as always. And Elsa, thank you for making these videos still and giving something and calms my anxiety these days. :)
Even though you guys are still isolated, you still have so much you can explore and walk around on. Between this and being stuck indoors here, I think I’d prefer being there, I’m going stir crazy in the city.

Yeah that weather really does change every 10 to 15 min. That sky goes from white snow & gray blowing clouds to bright blue sky's spreading out between the clouds🌤️ 🌨️⛅️. That's gotta be the cutest , playful, sleepy dog I've ever seen🦊 ( I know he's not a fox but I just love his stand up ears & his curled up tail)😘. Would love to have a dog like that!

Slow-mo Kamp is THE BEST! And, I know Barron said he couldn't feel his hands when he was cooking but he never acts like he's cold. Is it because of layers or a more Buddhist acceptance/being present with his reality? Also, what are the log-things you all burn? Where do you get them and do you have enough (worrying like a mom)?
I live in a 26ft. Wilderness camper. So far it's been two winters. I insulated it over the summer but the first winter it was lots of wood burning cuz it wasn't insulated much and it was a cold winter. My pipes froze a few times. But this last winter was a breeze. New furnace with backup woodstove. Pipes never froze and it got down to -30.
I put in a solar panel so my lights and Wi-Fi are free. If the power goes out, I'm ok.
I did all of this because I like to go camping and I hadn't had a day off in over 5 years. I only paid $1,100 for the camper and it was partially renovated. Just what I wanted so I could do it the way I want it. I've owned a couple houses in my life but truthfully this is my favorite! And it's completely paid for!

Barron, you have taught me to really look at my situation and think critically about making the most out of it-and to enjoy my surroundings. Elsa, you have inspired me readjust myself and to find ways to stay active and happy both physically and mentally. I am reading more, drinking more water, meditating, yoga, and have even tried my hand at a few crafts like pinch pots. Thank you both for your inspiration, honesty, and passion. Everyone needs to turn off the news and just watch Kamp playing in the snow, immediate stress reliever.
I had a stove or two puffing smoke out the draft cap too & so I took a section of pipe just a lil' bit larger to shroud the cold section/sections outside. I dropped a few crushed cans down between to shim them apart relatively equally. This did the job for me increasing the pipe temp outside and thereby the draw. Best wishes... Dean
