I found your channel a few months ago and have binge watched almost all of the episodes! I lost my husband to cancer, it will be four years the day after Christmas. I have a son who is grown and in the Army and beginning his life. So I’ve have been thinking about moving into a van, camper, Skoolie or some kind of tiny house. You guys truly inspire me to want to do this even more so. I hope you 3 have a wonderful, safe and blessed Christmas!
Merry Christmas Christie. We share the same tiny space dream. You should totally do it! And I bet your husband would say so too. May he rest in peace. With love from the UK. 💖
Merry Christmas Christie...don’t you just love these three. I’m in Salt Lake with my two dogs looking to retire in February @age 66,very very active divorced guy,no children I know of,loves hiking ,cooking, travel, eager to learn how to fly fish and finally make life simple. There is something so romantic about you two. To knowing yall had Christmas in the snowcapped mountains surrounding you. The fire crackling, ughhhh what a dream. Thank you for taking us to the woods. 🥲 merry Christmas you two beautiful people.

Great video guys! Elsa, I swear everything new you attempt, you NAIL it, everytime! Great job with that yummy looking fudge, and repairing Barrons boots! Kamp, as always you stole the show, thanks for the great belly laugh, watching your stubborn antics! (Does he have any idea he is the luckiest pup in the world?) So loved and cared for, all the exciting adventures, what a life. I always said I wanted to come in the afterlife, as my spoiled/loved pup, but I changed my mind, I want to come back as Elsa and Barrons pup!💗

Elsa, bless your heart, you need an "awl" for future moccasin repair. This from an old shoemaker's son. (I risk mansplaining here) Forget the needle n' thread thing. An awl is a cobbler's tool, (see google) basically a handle with a spike attached and a small barb(hook) at the end.Take 4 feet or so of heavy thread, and wax it up first. Push the awl through the shoe from the bottom, and hook the thread from inside the moc and pull it back down thru the bottom. Leave the two ends and all the thread on the other side. So now you have a loop. In the hole next to the loop, use the awl again, grab one of the loose ends, and pull the whole thing thru to the bottom. Now you should have a loop(just a couple inches) sticking out one of the holes in the sole, and a single strand a couple feet, coming out the hole next to it. And a single strand remaining on the upper side of the sole. Take the single strand next to the loop and feed it thru the loop. Close the loop tight by pulling on the strand above the sole, thats your first stitch. With your awl, at the next hole, poke up through the sole and hook another loop from the single strand above. Feed the lower strand thru the loop again and tug everything tight. Now you're sewing like a pro cobbler. Merry Christmas you three! www.craftrunner.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=4492 www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Hanshi-Steel-Sticher-Sewing-Awl-Shoes-Repair-Sewing-Crochet-Hook-Needle-Tool/6WD4TE28XE4J

I used to sew and would run my thread over solid bees wax to make it stronger for hand sewing. Glad you had a happy Christmas. I love giving a gift....but it doesn't have to be big... Maybe some nuts or dried fruits or nice smelling soap. Just something simple from one kind heart to the other.
New sub and new off grid camper liver ❤️husband and I (25yrs together )are empty nesters now, so we put everything into storage and moved our “toy hauler” out to the river ❤️I feel like I have the Taj Mahal now after seeing your cute ass lil scamp!! I love Kamp, and his own personality. The camping road trips in Mexico we'd do the condensed milk in coffee. I don't know I don't do it at home, as it's kind of a treat..
Just a thought... get one of those 10x10 pop up canopy tent with wall and screen enclosure and put it up against entrance to the camper. This allowing you to have a pop up screen-in or insulated porch. Canopy can be folded and stored on roof top when mobile. It would double your living space, allow you to enclose your kitchen and perhaps make a dinning or sitting area having folding camp chairs and table. Anyhow, enjoy your vids! Happy Holidays! Be well and Be safe!
