I love the beginning stages. When I purchased my home, I had such dreams of a wonderful garden. The Work almost killed me, but it was a grand adventure with, in my humble opinion, a glorious outcome. LOVE my garden. As you work, PLEASE, take my advice. Lift with your legs, ... not your backs. Over time, lifting all those rocks with you back will make you pay big time! Very excited for you. :-)

We bought land outside ATx 20+ yrs ago. Like y’all it took awhile to find. Required was land thick with oak trees. When we drove up to the property it instantly felt like home. When I see that look in y’all’s eyes on your land I see my husband and me looking at our land and how freaking amazing it was! That feeling will be with y’all from here on out. Super happy for y’all!❤️🌄

I used to watch your videos many years ago. Then my life became very busy. Yesterday your videos…the energy of them, came up for me. Couldn’t remember the name….except for Scamp. Eventually found you guys again! Glad to see you’ve both grown (even more) closely. So glad you purchased a home base. I’ve been able to do such as well…5acres with a funky cabin w electricity but no water…wood stove heat…..we have one class C on the property for guests or my get away. I have a very tiny beeswax candle business that keeps money dribbling in and sustains my pocketbook. It is a ideal life. Plenty hard work. Sense of purpose. Close to Spirit. Simple Joy! Brewers yeast powder in your dogs dry food and thiamin/ Vitamin B 1 for you. In a pinch you can use nutritional yeast but it’s more expensive. Bugs don’t like the taste of it in the blood. Happy journey.
I highly encourage planting trees and setting up a retention structure in the drainage alleys. Not only will it benefit you but it will benefit the entire environment around you. Anytime you can slow rainwater down or decrease its total volume you reduce erosion and flooding down stream where it all adds up! Love yalls content!

You can burn the juniper greenery over a fire and save the ash .and use it for blue corn meaL mush
