A key point on Harris' small business tax credit, as i understand it, is it's for new businesses. So, even if it were effective, it appeals to a pretty small democraphic of aspirational younger people. So, I guess it fits her economic theme, but I'm not sure it will have much of an electoral impact.
Obama was a left Bill Cliton guy, both charisma driven, a teal dog dem who didnt play the sax. IMO, Harris is a less charismatic version who also doesn't play the sax.
I am not going disclose who I am voting for but the Democrats do by and large disgust me. The GOP disgusts me slightly more sometimes. But as long as we play the game this way.
1:12:56 Wait, why is this? Wouldn't business prefer to have a more fractured country/labour movement & have places that are easier to take advantage of? Is this to the effect of like, limiting where it's best to set up production/giving an advantage to production in certain states (idk if I have a coherent picture of even my guess at this)
Clear issue: - Can't apply cost to entrenched power by voting or not voting Gonna shout out again the concept of operations of decentralized councils (call them what you want, co-ordinated decision-making under as high trust and resonance of intention conditions as possible) and influence operations
I will say that despite the many problems I have with RFK Jr. I do like that he's without a doubt part of preventing the throwing out of the baby with the bathwater when it comes to important medical interventions.
Figured it's worthwhile to point out that Vocal Fry man within the last 7 days shouted out The Duran as an essential podcast where he agrees 90% with what is said. Well I'd probably agree on a different 90%. Anyway.
@@VarnVlog It's one of the biggest IR shows on RUclips. They had Michael Hudson on before among others. Since the guest expressed hope that "Republicans without Trump will collapse". Well I see Trump as an expert mediator that is currently congealing the Republican Party into something new. Let's hope more of the truthful and less of the evil stuff he's dabbling in will stick. I have no hope for em to just collapse but maybe I'm wrong.
He's young. I remember people were saying GOP was finished in 2008 after Bush left as most unpopular President during 2008 recession. Yet they came back in 2010 midterms under Tea party wave. Conservatives are excellent in running on nonsense culture wars and Liberals keep taking the bait while the poor suffer regardless
Trump may have been "very defensive" but Harris' campaign insisted that only trump be "fact checked" in the debate go figure going by a whistleblower anyway it's public record as to who got "fact checked live" more and "fact checked live" is just another word for moderators arguing. Maybe don't watch wrestling to divine what substance people bring to the table.
Calling Trump insane (edit: what the guest has been suggesting may be smart to do) for parroting a silly if not entirely safe story he came to find compelling enough as an unimportant talking point using some method of heuristic isn't exactly what I find compelling analysis. No it just means you're calling yourself insane because how is your process more durable? And do you have more or less durable processes for more or less important stories? Makes you look like you don't.
This is important to understand because Trump lands on a couple of important and correct points by some method as much as he's very wrong on important stuff too. To return to the start of the conversation Jill Stein at least has Michael Hudson as chief economist so as I really appreciate that it should be obvious where I disagree with Trump vehemently. edit: I mean I am a little salty about the guest's dismissal of Jill while calling Cornell a cool guy. Meh!
@@curiousfella4076 I will be frank with you, I didn't call Trump insane or evil, but he is incoherent. How's 4 years of coalition building EVER going to amount to much of anything regardless of who's president?

That's a meta criticism btw not claiming it is one way or another, I'd need to see more of Harris and her team to comment on that.
