In the training, you will learn how to:
1) build lessons with multimedia content
2) copy images and use them for your lessons/lectures/publications
3) use Ms Word to create documents, with complex mathematical expressions
4) create online register of students, conduct tests and collect your results
5) create recorded lessons of your students and edit the videos accordingly
6) write on the screen with Graphics Pen Tablet
7) carry out digital tasks, occasioned by technological advancement.
To really describe CCSCAT, it is an effort over the years to see how best to facilitate lecture delivery and teachings in the classroom. We are still researching in this field and trying to see how best to simplify the task of imparting knowledge. Whether you are using CCSCAT for tertiary level of lower levels of education, the underlying principle remains the same - multimedia learning. You are going to be taught to best teach with videos and images and expend less energy as you teach. In the training, you are going to be taught how to connect your laptop or Thin Client to the wide screen TV. All adjustments needed to get the best output have been taught. The beauty of building content with CCSCAT is that is can be used both online and offline, if possible in remote villages. The best tool to move the pointer is the MOUSE. if you laptop doesn't have an external mouse, try and get one.

You move the pointer with the mouse. It is the best input device for controlling the pointer. You may buy one and attach it to the computer, be it a laptop or desktop. Usually, desktops use mouse.

Computer is a very practical device. You can only know by practising with it. Try, save money and buy one. That is when you will master all the teachings. Meet a computer engineer around you who may help you in getting a good one.
