fedal are friends off the court because of that lop sided h2h in favour of nadal and Nike brand, had it been the opposite Nadal wouldn't be friendly with Federer
At least some people have noticed. Nadal hasnt even invited Fed to his wedding. Can't be that good of a buddy. I think they get on, but their main connection, apart from playing tennis, has been that they've been Nike clothes horses. Of course Nike had to spill some hate on Nole to protect their investment. Since Nole refused to sign with them twice.
Rafa and Roger are friends definitely not best friends but they are friends. Novak have great relationship toward greatest rivals (Murray, Delpo, Stan, Čilić, Medvedev, Zverev...) Even the rivals once hated Nole (like Roddick) now are cool. Only people who remain reserved are Fedals. Personally, I don't care.
Slightly disagree with Novak here when he says "We are not friends because we were rivals". Then how come Roger and Rafa were firm friends, and IMHO their rivalry was even bigger than they both had with Novak? Roger and Rafa were even doubles partners weren't they? ❤❤❤ what an answer
The most decent respectful player ever graced the court ❤
Djokovic: "The greatest respect is always there."
TennisChannel: "We are not friends."
what a shame coming from tennis channel
0:12..."we are not friends"
what's wrong with you guys?
That's why many athletes lose trust in the media and stop sharing with them/go 100% platitudes.
@@oldieSplit So the main takeaway from this segment is "we are not friends?". I can't believe you don't understand why that's manipulative. He did utter that string of words, but that's about it. No one says he didn't, that's besides the point.
He’s amazing on every level
He is a honest guy. Respect you Novak.
I have never been a fan of Djokovic but I do think he doesn't get the love and admiration that Roger and Rafa receive. That is sad. hes a champion and deserves respect from tennis fans around the world
Legend
I know some people dislike Novak but I'm not one of them. He is honest, very straightforward, speaks really well, sticks to his beliefs and I don't see anything to not respect about that, whether you agree with him or not. A class act in my opinion and a great champion but more importantly a good man. I believe he is friends with Andy Murray by the way.
He is goat and not only in tennis. That's why he stands out. So wisdom and intelligent. Really grater than tennis.
I love how the one message journalists/youtube content creators take from this is “we are not friends”, despite djokovic’s actual message
Love this guy such a gentleman and excellent tennis player..
The best❤Nole❤
These guys are real giants.
Respect for all of them.
Three greats!!! Singles tennis is an individual sport. You have to distance yourself so you can keep the hunger. It's not malicious in any way. It is what it is. I love all three and how they changed the sport on a global level. Novak has always been my favorite of the three, but man, what we as fans got to witness is nothing short of amazing with these three!!!
Roger and Rafa are friends and they still won alot. Novak just dont like them apparently
A very honest answer! U can be cordially with an rival, but friendship no! That's for when u have concluded Business!
Some people are not easy to like. And that's not always their fault. But sometimes it is.
Are you describing yourself?
Great answer and true to reality but respectful . Love him ❤
The three made a great generation… definitely they will catch up at the social level
Greatest sportsman of all time. Ultimate role model.
I like that he is frank about his relationship with the other two.
What a privilege it has been to watch these guys for the past two decades. It would be nice to see them come together not as competitors.
One of the most remarkable sportsman of modern times
This is why I like him, he’s not someone that answers with pr answers like roger or rafa
exactly,
This is like the most PR answer you can think of...
I don’t think you know what that means
This most certainly was a PR response.
@@markvanderwerf8592then he needs a better PR, yeah we’re friends outside of court would be the proper PR response
and in this group, you added the young one...!!!
Great words Nole...!!
G.O.A.T.
Beautiful person. Kudos 👍
fedal are friends off the court because of that lop sided h2h in favour of nadal and Nike brand, had it been the opposite Nadal wouldn't be friendly with Federer
Exactly!!
They aren’t friends it’s a pr friendship
At least some people have noticed.
Nadal hasnt even invited Fed to his wedding. Can't be that good of a buddy.
I think they get on, but their main connection, apart from playing tennis, has been that they've been Nike clothes horses.
Of course Nike had to spill some hate on Nole to protect their investment.
Since Nole refused to sign with them twice.
Rafa and Roger are friends definitely not best friends but they are friends. Do you think Rafa would take a turn around flight leaving his wife who is experiencing a high risk pregnancy to play doubles to help honor someone’s retirement he doesn’t consider a friend? He did it for Roger. You think he would for Novak or anyone else? Heck No!!!
@user-pp7ln9ky5k yea, the only catch with your example is that attending that event was incidentally an awesome promotion for himself.
But ok, why didn't he invite his friend to his wedding?
He is always so straightforward! Love it! I believe him! I love Roger and Novak, my faves, along with Andre! Novak's personality is so infectious! How can you not want to be friends with him!
They will never be friends with him. Ain’t happening
Agree, Novak is too much for them!!
That would be an amzing 1 hour interview with the 3 of them.
Very honest person
Nole is the best!!!
I respect the honest and intelligent reply.
imagine being the waiter that night
Yes I concor. Tennis is a gentleman's game.
Novak have great relationship toward greatest rivals (Murray, Delpo, Stan, Čilić, Medvedev, Zverev...)
Even the rivals once hated Nole (like Roddick) now are cool.
Only people who remain reserved are Fedals. Personally, I don't care.
The amount of class these 3 have when speaking of each other is something special!
NOLE UMEE PAMETNO DA ODGOVORI👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Perfect words. True gentleman. I hope so. We'll see
Novak DJOKOVIC the PEOPLE's💓🥰CHAMPION 🏆!
Slightly disagree with Novak here when he says "We are not friends because we were rivals".
Then how come Roger and Rafa were firm friends, and IMHO their rivalry was even bigger than they both had with Novak?
Roger and Rafa were even doubles partners weren't they?
So what Novak is saying here doesn't apply to everyone.🎾🎾🎾
❤
Love ❤❤👏👏what a legend 👏 and really beautiful person ❤️ ♥️
