Lamb of God - Grace - Chris Adler
Drums Only Studio Audio with Live Drum Cam View - Видеоклипы
Sad to see him out the band. Legendary drummer
Ok enough guys i am getting emotional i love chris alot hige inspiration to me im a huge lamb of fucking god fan since 07 high school haaha got introduced to metal haha back then. Feel inlove with LoG 🇨🇦🤘🏻😍🤘🏻🇨🇦🇨🇦💯💯🎤
Dammit, forgot he ain't in Lamb no more
art do be killin it though
@@thegravyisricco2925 true 👍 nonetheless, I miss Chris
Chris Adler will always be one of the most original, copied and definitive drummers in metal. He utterly dominated the 2000s, inspiring many many drummers like myself to play along to the loose groovy heavy flowing-fills style he pretty much invented. Lamb of god just doesn't feel the same at all without him, and I've been a fan since 2005 so I've been here a while.
I don't listen to the albums without him on, I'm told lamb of god still exist but its like a zombie with no heart. Check out the Legion:XX album if you havent yet
His swan (eagle) song, some fucking brutal fills on it.
"I kicked some ass and did it my way"
Chris Adler, Meinl Interview 2006.
Agreed. Long live the legacy of the Eagle.
Speaks volumes for his talent that the live cam syncs up so flawlessly with the album track.
Chris Adler is AWESOME... I LOVE THIS SONG!
He is doing paradiddles on bass drums from 0:56 to 1:08... This is sick! =)
No he isn't. Look at the movement of his left leg, he doesn't double... they are alternating kicks.
I think he is amazing. All too often, you see drummers who cant reproduce the same rhythms played live that they laid down in a studio. But Chris can do it spot on. Awesome.
This is just pure perfection. He doesnt play the hardest stuff but its still really hard to play so well and ofc his style is unmatched.
No one can replace him
Chris Adler improve drummer of all time.
He was the goat i swear
to my mind best metaldrummer nowadays,
no doubt.
These videos are amazing, you totally need to do more of these....Chris Adler is a beast and to see how well his timing and precision is, is awesome!!!
Bet you know why I'm watching this 11 years later lol
Simply the best
best drumer alive
This guy is so talented it's amazing. Love this song and the drums too. Those breakdowns are so heavy. Love it.
The audio that you hear is of the studio version. But the video is from a live performance. Someone just synchronized the audio and the video.
Jose Herrarte that's what i thought. I knew it! Good ear. however, it's synced so well, some wouldn't be able to tell.
Rolf, it is written in the description
I think you're not aware of dynamics of Chris...It doesn't matter it's not synchronized a bit but... You should think this groove is designed by this legend and played many times on stage... You should show some respect instead of showing your technicalities...😂
But that's just what being said in the title, right?
alright sherlock
Oh god once I was crazy at starclassics bubinga, prl masters sjc customs etc but after this Black Panther Blaster wid that classy cranked up explosive snare flown my 💓 it's 🔥
Chris Adler is my hero
chris adler is amazing

He's not the best, but one of the best. =]
mucho respecto for this fool! damn good playin
chris is a god
Stay safe Christopher James.
2:57 - 3:11
That I can play! Only a few more years of practise, and I'll do a cover!
I don’t know where you found it was phenomenal
Holy shit! I didnt read the title and i seriously though this was a live capture from his drum mics!
@SpartanCarver your def right on this one.
A levada dos bumbos e o som dos pratos do Chris são muito lindos mah
Jesus
@pballer225 They're in ear monitors that are used so you can hear your other band members, if you were actually playing on a large stage like that, you would only be able to hear yourself, but the in ear monitors have a mix of the entire band... some bands use a click track, lamb of god don't. Listen to other live songs and they are usually slightly faster than the studio version.
Man he's probably the best drummer i ever heard, considering that as a log fan, this one of their easiest songs on drums
The fill at 1:57 though…
Whenever I listen to this song, I need to listen to that fill at least 10 times
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer It doesn't need to be difficult to sound delicious
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer k
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer Simple, but executed well, fast, and in great context of the song. Sounds better then alot of 9ther drummers
Click track in the Ear Monitors might explain it. Although I find it amazing that he can play the exact thing he tracked in the studio
That's the most impressive part. Lamb Of God doesn't play with a click track live. Tells you how much his timing is flawless
awesome!!! but seriously, no one in their right mind can diss a metal drummer, they are obviously uneducated and have no taste. matters of opinion have no bearing when you are talking about abilities, not creative choices. metal drummers (especially the growing number of jazz influenced drummers) are among the most highly skilled musicians ever.
if i remember correctly Chri grew up learning piano first. He didnt even start playing the drums until he was in college. So Chris knows his stuff.
Based asf
Snare in 45 degrees angle, that is hardly ever seen! And toms very Close....And he is really using a lot of energy in every beat, including his feet, that is surely Heard in the Music!
I love my snare at a 45. Flat just feels weird cause it's different than all other Tom's that are mounted around it.
ugghh____ Nikko McBrain maybe?????
running that angle doesn’t help with rim shot force but it quickens your progression into the tom-toms vastly
yes the best drummer alive would you tell me other wise who you thing is the best
Dope as fuck
I’m a drummer myself and know
The work it takes to do this
Nothing is easy
But when you love it
It is 💯💯💯
fuck yes
Blake Richardson, Matt Halpern, Flo Mournier, Tomas Haake, Morgan Ågren, Billy Cobham
he smile
@pballer225 that would be the wonders of in ear monitors :)
@DRUMALLICA : Oh nice, what other songs do they have drum cams for? Is there any where I can find it with the original live drum track?
The sound of his mapex whole rig is sound of God.....
I heard Chris say once he doesn't play to a metronome live, but he obviously is in this video, it's not possible to play the exact tempo 100% all the way through a song so it matches up seamlessly to the original recording.
And just so we're clear, I'm not judging him for doing it now, I do it too and Chris is a fucking spectacular drummer.
You are so damn right
I think right around 1:50 he's hitting a cymbal, but yet you hear nothing in the recording, this could be to make up for lack of metronome?
+Serrated Frost yeah I always counted 1 2 3 4 when hes hitting it :')
i dont see anything in his ears, but take a look smartass
+FightingTiranny actually now you point it out and I see the video in higher definition there is something in his ears. See those in ear monitors and the wire running down the back of his head? Thanks for proving me right even though you didn't mean to...
I want a small snare drum like his
I think that chris is the bwst double bass groover
where did you get this footage? I've never seen it before
That's.. that's how you record.
It's interesting. He plays his 16th kick rhythms starting with his left foot, but heel-toes with his right foot.
This LOG album has the best sounding drum mix , thanks to Josh Wilbur for squeezing the best from beast
Am I only one thinking that on about 0:38 - 0:40 the recording has been punched in, since cymbal played suddenly changes to lower pitched one in between hits? This would conclude that it was not an one take recording. Maybe drummers do notice this?
Great, now my keyboard is all sticky.
@DRUMALLICA interesting,,,,,,, in one interview he said that he doesn´t use a metronome during live performance. I did a drum cover of Reclamation so if you like check it out.
Not a fan of LoG but love Chris’s drumming
1:57
That interview might have been a while ago because nowadays it's almost impossible to find a drummer in a band this big that does't play to a click. Hell, my bands are relatively unknown and I still use clicks and backing tracks when I perform/practice because it makes me sound consistent and I feel is becoming an industry standard. He's always been tight as hell but there's no way he could follow this original recording to a tee without one.
agree with waldohides
@DRUMALLICA Wait wait.. you talked to Chris Adler? THE Chris Adler God of Drums?
what's that pad thing he's hitting near the end of the video?
I finally see how he uses the 808 roland pad lmao
To me he is the best overall drummer he got into megadeth and he got out only if you are the best that could happen and that’s not just a regular band he is the best
It's off an electric drum set. It probably has the sound of an extra drum or cymbal. It's cheap and saves some space and he can change the sound throughout the performance if he needs to. Lol perty handy.
Is there any way you could upload the priginal video with live audio?
I can't find the original on here.
Can anyone tell why he use those electronic pads
what about thomas haake??
COM' ON.. He's good, he's great, but the best ?
You guys both know they use click tracks live right? Like a LOT of metal bands
Gah, the fill at 1:57 is inhuman.
It's very likely that they are using click tracks, however the fact remains that Adler is still a tank without a doubt!
What is a "click track"?
Its studio track over live video.
1:57 tho
พี่ชายผมเอง
Most professional metal drummers play to a click
Chris said in an interview he doesn't..
he is left handed. sorry for the necro
mantap saudara ku...aku juga ikut mengcover lagu ini...buat semua silahkan mampir ke chanel saya
great my brother ...👍👍👍 I also covered this song ... for all please stop by my channel🙏🙏🙏👍😊
nope not desolation
Who cares what he has in his ears. There's a reason he's the drummer of Lamb of God and you're not.
Al asco!
Gghh
That's nothing...i do it by myself...
Mike portnoy by far...
WHats the point of you? ..
hahahaha yeah right they are not better than him
@Pipetruls Dude, dont cover that, thats the most easiest part of the song, my dead grandma can even play that, just practise some more
