This was one of the easiest card tutorials to watch, thank you so very much, just made my grandson a birthday card!!
I've watched so many other examples to make these cards. THIS IS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the Best, easiest method possible. Thank you!
Love this card .I have made it for children ,Males and female. Everyone was amazed and love their card
This is the easiest video I’ve seen on this. Thank you so much for sharing!
I’m watching this whilst on holidays...can’t wait to get home to try this (birthday card for daughter-in-law)...then maybe Christmas cards... thank you for the inspiration 💕
I had to watch 4 videos about this type of card and urs is the most straightforward and the easiest. Thank you so much for sharing. 🤗🤗
I totally love the card, got all the pieces made just got to put it all together tomorrow, tks for the easy assembly, this will be my go to card for occasions. tks again Nicky
Thank you for this tutorial. It's easy to follow along. And I love your cards. They're so pretty.
This is a great tutorial, thanks Sam! Very clear directions so easy to follow.
Really looking forward to making this. You have definitely made it very straightforward to understand. That is my granddaughter’s Xmas card sorted. Thank you xx
Thankyou so very much for this tutorial. You have made my day. I just made this card. Your instructions were easy to follow. Brilliant. Hugs Lynne from OZ.
This is great! FB sent me an ad for costly templates to make this card. But I knew if I dug around in your channel enough, I’d find a tutorial on how to make it. 😀 Thanks!
Very cool. I remember making this card. I had a hard time with the mechanism but that was my mistake. I did not wait long enough for my glue to dry. Thank you for sharing.
This appears to make it so much simpler WOW Thank you for sharing
Easiest one I’ve seen so far. Will definitely try. Thank you!!!
I just started watching your videos. They are PHENOMENAL! Thank you so much for breaking the steps down. I can hardly wait to try this.
Ho Deborah and welcome. So happy your enjoying my channel, I do try to break things down as easy as possible so that everyone can enjoy this designs. Hope you continue to enjoy my projects and thank you x
Love it I have made it tonight just have to put a few finishing touches to it so easy to make thank you Sam
Thank you for the great tutorial!!!! You do beautiful work and I always enjoy watching you.
I followed your tutorial and I made a beautiful pop card. Thank you.
Love it! You do fantastic tutorials!
Thank you, Just made this card for my daughter who turns 18 next month.
brilliant as ever Sam want to add these inside a memory book.
This was so helpful! I had ordered this mechanism die from Amazon. It came with no instructions whatsoever. Although the measurements of the die cuts are different from yours, I was able to apply the basic principle and now I can use my die!
Hello I just found your channel. I am always looking for new paper crafts. I have never tried this card. I have looked at a few tutorials on this card, most done in centimeters and I tried them and didnt like how they worked. I love the way you do it. Thank you for sharing. I belong to a papercrafting swappers group and we were looking for a new project so we may try this. I will share this video with the ladies in my group
09-28-20: This was so quick and easy to make that I made two of them today in no time flat and they came out absolutely wonderful. I'm excited about how I'm going to use this technique going forward. I'm also going to try to figure out the dimensions for a smaller one. TFS. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!
Wonderful tutorial, Sam!! Thank you for simplifying it for us. :)
Thank you so much for showing us your easy twist fold card,, will definitely be giving this a go.
Thanks so much.... I tried following other tutorials and like you card overhung etc....so happy to try this x
This worked out just Perfect! Thank you 💐
Love your tutorial. Super easy
I just found ur RUclips’s. Thank u for making it so easy to understand the steps. U r great. TFS
I really struggled with this mechanism...but your video was so clear and thorough that I've made literally 10 of these cards and they've all been fantastic. Many thanks, keep up the good work.
Awesome tutorial. I was able to follow it to a T, Thank you for sharing,
This is a great tutorial!!! Thank you !!
Wonderful!!!!!! So much easier than the tutorials I've seen before. Looking forward to making some of these.
Thankyou Sam I think I can make this card 😀🇦🇺🐨🐨
Hello SamYou really solved the mechanism problem, I have tried many tutorial but this has been the best. Thank you
This is one of my favourite cards to make and they sell well too! Your card is lovely, TFS! The mechanism is exactly the same as Kathy Clement's tutorial. She is my favourite American crafter.
Brilliant - thank you!
Fantastic! Thanks so much!
very impressed, thanks for sharing your video, am starting to make one now woo hoo!!
I loved your card my grandchildren will think they are magic 💞💞 so now I will subscribe to your channel
Thank you for this! I saved it to watch again
Great tutorial! Thanks Sam
Oh my god I love it. I just made one here with you to glue in one of my album page. Thanks for sharing. God bless you... Thanks for the tutorial.
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Great job! I think i can do this!!! Thank you. Definite subscriber.
Amazing, thank you
Give me more surprise cards. Loving it so much!
Thank you for showing us a very clear easy way to make this card. You rock!
I have always wanted to make these cards but did not know where to start - this video makes it 'doable' can't wait to have a go.
Fabby card! Thank you xx
Sam I love your tutorials you always take time to sort out the easiest way for us, I am new to this paper, glue scissor thing but love it (I do art) but where I fall down is materials, as I am gradually getting a stash, as you all call it, but my real down fall is when you say 12 x whatever, the only 12 x 12 paper i have is quite thick patterned on both sides and it cracks easily, although it was expensive, and also I am limited to what colour I want for card,, as I have to use what I have. May I ask where you get your big plain coloured card from, as I am not finding it easily. Sorry for long explanation. Thank you jacqui xxx
Brilliant!
Thanks just what I was looking for.
Love this card and I am looking forward to the next 2 weeks.
Really great color combination and wonderful card. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve just finished making this and I found your tutorial very easy to follow and my card looks beautiful, thank you so much Sam 😍
Thank you so much for this brilliant video. I couldn’t find any videos for a 6x6 card version so this is great. Like yourself, my previous attempts had problems with the mechanisms sticking or digging into the card. So now I can make a lot at once knowing that they will all work perfectly- hooray!!
can I just say how much I ADORE your right hand rings?? always look forward to seeing what you might be wearing each video :)
Thanks Melody I'm a little bit obsessed with my huge collection of rings, although I keep wearing the same ones atm, think it's time to change them up a bit and wear some of my other ones x
Mixed Up Craft cant wait to see them!
love how you have simplified this card in your tutorial.
Hi Sam, great card. Just mad your hexagonal box for my daughters Easter, your makes are really nice. The size for a6 card, would there be much difference. Australian card stock is pretty much the same as yours. Thank you for taking the time.
Sam, I would love it if you could make a video on a gigantic size card. Your twist and pop cards are so easy to fold. I absolutely love your tutorials!
Go to may may made it her pop up twist card, that mechinism
Hi Anne, this video is 6 years old! I've made many more since and even made a die set to do it for me, but thank you 😊
Well this a cute card and looks easy but sadly I got ver confused on the mechanism and it turned out to be a big mess and it was really bad because I had used embellishments that just got wasted, think I’ll just stick to my normal boring cards
Is this sam.....
Take that mechisum.....score in the middle , just bring the center up to match that score to get that X score
Thanks so much for this tutorial you made it look so easy so hopefully, I will be able to make it without any trouble.
Love this Sam. I've made a couple of pop twist cards but they tend to snag and I measure perfect every time so hopefully this one will work smoothly and will be my "go to" from now on. Going to have a go later 😄
P.s. when I spotted this on your channel I actually did a little happy dance in my craft room.....hope the neighbours weren't watching.... Lmao 😜😁😀😊😝
ha ha ha, hope you find my tutorial useful. If I was your neighbour I would do a happy dance back at ya! x
I purchased this die but it is so confusing that I figured out how to do it myself but you have made the process even easier than what I was doing. TFS
Loved the video but had no sound on mine
Patricia Lee Really, how strange it's fine my end and no one else has mentioned it, I will check with a few others. It's been up for months so would of thought more people would of also commented about the sound. Thanks for letting me know. 😀
Yes, would love a 5 x 7 one!
I like this method. What would be the measurements for a 5x7 card?
Hi, Angela, I would have to remake the card to give you the exact measurements. If I make another one I will do it in this size and let you know x
You have not shown even the decorations... That how to make them....
Hello. How did you come up with the measurements for the "×" on the mechanism?
Hi Angela, gosh I made it some time ago now. I just played around until I found a measurement that worked best for that card base size. :)
