I've been playing Halo since the first one came out all those years ago. Call me crazy, but there are some characters you relate, some that you see yourself in, and Master Chief is one of those characters for me. I've been with him from the beginning, through every battle, every adventure, felt weight whenever we saw a comrade fall. After all he's been through, all the friends he's made and lost, every enemy destroyed, and villain defeated. After the loss of Cortana, I can feel it. The Chief is tired, he's tired of war, the endless combat, tired of watching friends suffer or die, tired of killing.
John isn't tired of war. He's tired of having to never see the end. At the end of every mission is the start of a new one. John is smart enough to know, he's tired of no one else doing it better than he can. Asa chef, I am like that.

that fight with locke had nothing to do with luck. it was just poor overall. chief wouldv grounded that fool in 10 seconds if it was realistic. but nooooo 343 wanted to push lockes character.

It's not just that chief is known to pull punches against other servicemen but I do agree with u for the scene after locke cracked chiefs visor which is when thee Spartan would of beat the shit out of him XD
If they pulled the rug out from under us and had Noble 6 come back as an O.N.I. Assassin like before he joined Noble Team and be the one hunting Chief that would’ve put people on more on an edge. Seeing two people they like or love playing pitted head to head.

He’d never be able to break the Chief’s visor like that. That whole scene was an abomination. If Locke is so good then what the fuck was he doing while the Chief was saving the universe? Oh that’s right, he didn’t exist.
@@Smokabis I think he was in active duty but like with all the other Spartans 4's were ODST's. actually Locke put together a target dossier on the arbiter.
When she says he has something more than others and that it's "luck"... i see that as a faith he has in his beliefs and ideals that no matter how things go, if you still have faith, somehow you will live.
we really need a master chief in our lives to have such a human inspired so many people that millions have never met him in person but has overwhelm respect to such a guy who they know is ready to take a bullet or a spark in his case he wouldnt even hesitiate

I can never get over the fact that they made a fight between two augmented supersoldiers look like two drunk dads fighting in a Walmart parking lot. And to top it all off they made this new kid on the block actually step to the only hyper lethal Spartan II and almost win. The nerve of some people.
And one of 3 noble 6 and sergeant Johnson they both deserve to be there
IKR. The Spartan II generation was legendary, the stuff of myth, the type of soldier that you wouldn't worry about no matter the odds because they were just that good. The Spartan IV generation were upgraded Marines. I don't mean to disparage their quality, but the simple fact is that a Spartan II would completely destroy a Spartan IV in a fight

Great video, oddly enough my favorite part was when the sound faded out during the fight scene. Although chief winning had nothing to do with LUCK, it was a great part that lowkey gave me goosebumps. Excellent work man, keep it up.

i always wonder why people diss on 343 when these games are pretty good with continuing the story of halo. they also seem to forget that a vast majority of people who work on the Halo project came from bungie.
I honestly think there's nothing wrong with 343. I've liked all the games they've made and they've actually gave their games a story for chief and for the world building. Fireteam shows the concern about humanity and how they aren't the machines built for war. Halo 5's campaign isn't the best but I like it for that way of still showing chief's ark through Locke and the rest of fireteam. But if it wasn't for Reach and ODST, 4 and 5 would be my favorite games of the franchise
No he is not a Soldier, Spartan or Warrior he is a Hero a true one he saved many lives and fought in many battles..
And what would you call or title that person? To call him a hero is a bit of a cliché. Sure it's a good title to give him to help him stand out of any other man or women who fought in battle. Calling him a spartan was a huge piece of his live, where he only viewed himself as a soldier (In other words he saw himself as a machine because of him being a spartan) John growing up his whole live being called a soldier since he was 8 (forgive me if I got the age wrong) can really change the mind set of a child in place of a 18 or above adult. His whole live was spent training to be more than man, more than a soldier, but a genetically change human built to be stronger, faster, an over all better soldier in a metal suit (Making him view himself as a machine)
Still A Production I know I played Halo Combat Involved to Guardians and I've been watching movies of Halo in Netflix he is a hero tbh he fought in many wars you can just call him Master chief if he wants to.. he saved humanity He lost cortana tbh

Fortnite kids will look at the item shop and say who is this he looks dope but they don’t even know what that man has been through and with the new halo this year a new kid will experience what we all did as a little kid drinking a juice box not knowing how much of an impact this one character will have on us. You have to realize people have went through what is going on right know so if a little kid is reading this and is in elementary all I have to say is kid enjoy the time that you have now because you will look back on the great memories with all of your friends. I’m about to leave for college and leave everything behind including my Xbox till I get to collage i will have a couple more memories with my day one friends. From mw3 to Cold War it’s been a great time boys ready for what the future stores for us. ✌️

Awesome video! My opinion the music at 2:30 should have started the second chief started fighting Locke. Still good tho.
in my opinion I liked what he did, where it started to actually get better and then slowly just came to cello and violin
awesome video.....makes me hate 343 even more. oh and the part where you cut the audio from halo 5 when lock was fighting chief. i suggest fading out the audio not just a cut. felt like a glitch and took me out of it for a second....... but im a really picky editor so most probably wouldnt care let alone notice. great video
The soundtrack in the game was too loud for me to edit it out. I found it better for it to just fade out

Ryan McCallum Wasn’t really LONG before Reach, it was like right before if anything. Cortana was introduced to Chief and while Chief was protecting UNSC Pillar of Autumn, Cortana stayed behind with Halsey to help her with her work. They didn’t know each other very well before the events of Reach.

117 is supposed to be on another level. That should have been a one sided battle with Locke, the Poochie of Halo, only getting a few shots in.

I dislike how every 343 Halo game they show the chief getting his @$$ handed to him in a lame way. That never happened in the original trilogy and sub-games. He didn't always win, had set backs occasionally, but he always pulled through. It's just lazy writing. Uninspired. Just like the show showing him having normal emotions, having sex, disobeying orders and commiting treason and crap.
Halo 5 part still doesnt make sence, wish it had been exiled from lore.
