May sound stupid, but as a kid Chief and the original Halo games taught me a lot of perspective on life. Master Chief isn’t just a hero of a great story, he’s a mindset that we all should have. That mindset made me wanna be like him. That when in the face of grave danger or strife you run towards the enemy and face the challenge when others may run. That’s what a good man does for others and for himself

It isn't just the advice alone that strikes a chord. It's the fact that it's said in a completely serious no-nonsense tone of voice, and also that it's coming from Master Chief whom, although a fictional character is a character that a number of us probably know better than some of our closer relatives due to playing AS him in a long series of games (and in books) that started coming out when we were just kids. He's been through a number of different Hells throughout the character's existence and came out the other side (ignoring all the times we-the-player died and reloaded) and *We've Seen It*. Effectively, he's earned our respect. Solid advice means a heck of a lot more coming from someone you respect than a total stranger which is probably one of the reasons that self-help books often aren't as much help as the authors hope it will be. And the style and comparison you used fit very well within the halo universe while still be relevant to the day to day life of Mr. Nobody. That's it, you had to think about a cat before shifting your thoughts to not think about it, even if you only thought about it for .1s, you did. - Be aware that your mind is, by definition, biased. The brain always makes shortcuts. Therefore you're focused on the hints that confort your ideas of the world around you. To end it here, do not hesitate to seek for professionnal help if you feel that the people around you wouldn't understand. And even after that, if you get help but don't feel it's helping, change therapist : we are people, and nobody pleases everyone, but DO.NOT.GIVE.UP. Hey man. Halo was my childhood. It’s like your hero swooping down and telling you they believe in you. And that feeling is indescribable. So even tho this is just some silly AI script, I wanna say thank you. It means a lot.
So I was not expecting that. Thought it would be campy and goofy, it turned out to be full of sage advice. I needed this more than anything. I was just in a motorcycle accident and broke both my hands. My Capital capital broke my cavalca my hip and had to have everything replaced with titanium. I needed this, thank you. Thank you so much for these words. I have never will give up. I will rise again God damn speech to text.
If only the speech recognition software on our phones was as advanced as what they use for these character mimicking AIs lol I hope you make a full recovery, best of luck, and hang in there man.
Hey. I've been in a similar situation. So, I'll tell you a few things that help. Heat is now your best friend. Get anything that generates heat (USB powered gloves for example) because now cold will make your bones hurt all over again. Comic books are your friend. When I was in casts, I tried reading. I'd try to turn the page of a book and usually launch it from my hands. Comic books lay flat. I got my casts off after half a year. I had extensive nerve damage. My recovery took 4 years or so, before I felt any sort of 'recovered' ideally your recovery will be faster. It will hurt. You will try to sit up on a chair, put a little too much pressure on your hands and suddenly you're on the floor. Maybe you'll try using a pen and feel like someone is standing on your arm. It will get better, but you will have to force it. If your bones themselves took any decent damage, start eating antacids. Calcium is something rare in the human diet, and you'll probably need more than you're used to having. Oh, and on a depressing note, be prepared to lose friends. I had a friend who was supposed to hang out with me. She came over, saw me in casts, and literally just left. Five years later, she hasn't spoken to me since. Just saw that I was damaged.
As somebody who's going through a hard time in their life, struggling with mental health and depression, in a very difficult time , this was inspiring, you took a childhood character of mine, that has followed me well into my adulthood, and put motivational words to inspire me. Only to realize that as I continue with faith in myself and pulling myself out of this hard situation, that I have some fight left in me, and all is not lost, and that I can continue to fight because I identified the problem, and I know how to fix it. Thank you.
I was hurting. I was crushed. I was stuck in the worst rut of my life yet just now. And I've made efforts to climb out. But this... this really did help. An inspirational figure from my past coming to deliver a speech to tactically encourage my will. Thank you. I've subscribed. Not because of RUclips. But as a small way to repay the help I've received just now and hopefully help it to reach others.
This definitely hit the spot. I met my dad for the first time this weekend in over a decade. He bascially has been a crappy dad and doesnt want anything to do with me. He even decided to NOT come to my wedding but went to his other families. Struggling right now on what to do now as i want a relationship with him but also don't want to expend effort to have it wasted when i am not wanted. This Vid has taught me TO TAKE ACTION. 1. get in contact. 2. get answers for issues in the past. 3. decide if i want to stay in contact.
I needed this. Like REALLY needed this. I cant believe it came from an ai generated master chief however this is such an important lesson i will never forget this and ingrain it into my mentality. Thank you.
This bit of wisdom is genuinely helping me figuring things out, Thank you. Having Master Chief say it is difficult giving that extra bit of encouragement though haha. Keep up the good work.
I cried, i balled my eyes out. I got on my knees after I listened to this video and prayed to God and thanked Him for sending Master Chief my way. I've been going through a lot, but Chief told me to never quit and ask for help when i need it. I'm ready to face the day, the week, the month, the future. Thank you God, thank you Chief. Hang tough, everyone.
I clicked on this video expecting to be like "wow, it would be really depressing to be in a position where this felt inspiring," but actually it is pretty damn inspiring.

Genuinely wonderful metaphors for real-world advice.
This mental training from the 117 got me unlocking the solutions to the bigger problems
Imagine when chief finally retires from active fighting and becomes a trainer in the UNSC. 😎
Thanks chief, this really helps when I find out I'm out of toilet paper mid shit.
I needed this more than anything. I was just in a motorcycle accident and broke both my hands. My Capital capital broke my cavalca my hip and had to have everything replaced with titanium. I needed this, thank you. Thank you so much for these words. I have never will give up. I will rise again
God damn speech to text.
If only the speech recognition software on our phones was as advanced as what they use for these character mimicking AIs lol
I hope you make a full recovery, best of luck, and hang in there man.
Thank you fam
Stop riding motorcycle
As a fellow rider I wish you the best recovery! I crashed twice on track and luckily only broke my toe and not my hands!
Stay hard!
4:14 is where my armor finally recharged. Thank you Master Chief.
Thank you.
Never did I ever think my favorite video game and movie characters being the father figure I needed and had to be for my younger brothers. Amazing
I’m facing a decent amount of problems right now and this really helped. Thank you Master Chief.
Didn't ask.

"Didn't ask" - 🤓☝️
The power of fiction. This is why I love stories.
Thank you Master Cheif ❤
This hits hard im not crying your crying
I literally just had to worst breakup of my life and Master Chief pops up to hype me up. Thanks Chief
If master chief says it, then you listen.
Holy shit. I actually needed that. Thanks.
This has such missile guidance system vibes and both are bloody inspiring. Thanks man, needed this today
thanks dad, I'm sorry Chief
I didn't realize how much I needed this until now. Thank you.
Roger Master Chief!
I'm with you Chief!
I needed this
We love you Chief 😰
Thank you cheif, no matter how dire the circumstances, I will continue to fight for the ones I love.
Is it just me or did this bring a tear to anyone else's eyes?
Thanks chief
I'm gonna save this for when ima need it
Thank you for the morning motivation, Master Chief.
I usually never listen to this talks but dang it, it’s master chief
Stay strong fellow chads
This definitely hit the spot. I met my dad for the first time this weekend in over a decade. He bascially has been a crappy dad and doesnt want anything to do with me. He even decided to NOT come to my wedding but went to his other families. Struggling right now on what to do now as i want a relationship with him but also don't want to expend effort to have it wasted when i am not wanted. This Vid has taught me TO TAKE ACTION. 1. get in contact. 2. get answers for issues in the past. 3. decide if i want to stay in contact.
I clicked for the memes and to see how good the ai voice was, but this is actually kinda based. Solid advice from a trustworthy voice.
I needed this. Like REALLY needed this. I cant believe it came from an ai generated master chief however this is such an important lesson i will never forget this and ingrain it into my mentality. Thank you.
Thanks Master Chief!.
Thanks Chief
HOLY SHIT , I needed to hear this .
Amazing
I’m a 31 year old man and that made me weep
Same....in all honesty
See this, this is what AI voices should be used for
Days 3 complete. Put this on loop while working out. Hoora!
Thanks Spartan Dad....you the best.
Thanks Chief, needed that pick me up.
Thanks, Chief!
Dude, I'm crying. It wasn't Master Chief I heard, it was my dad who passed away two years ago. But thanks. I needed to hear that.
Better advice than you'll get from most fathers! 😊
This bit of wisdom is genuinely helping me figuring things out, Thank you. Having Master Chief say it is difficult giving that extra bit of encouragement though haha. Keep up the good work.
"The Spartans do not ask how many the enemy are, only where they are."
-Agis II, 17th king of the Eurypontid dynasty of Sparta.
These are so impactful and, dare I say, LEGENDARY. Need more of this in my life.
I really liked the ending. Beautiful message. I didn’t think there was any hope left.
Thanks chief..I needed that.
I know this is more than a year old now, but dame, this put me on the brink of tears. Thank you for creating this
This is something I needed to here. To all who may take inspiration from these words, we are all in this together.
Please don’t give up.
What this man said.
A well written script and the right voice AI can be the best therapy you need
It's weird how this is more impactful than the vast majority of speeches I've heard
Outstanding speech! Powerful and warm words.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank you.
I clicked on this video expecting to be like "wow, it would be really depressing to be in a position where this felt inspiring," but actually it is pretty damn inspiring.
