It's definitely a fun place to visit in Nashville with a neat history. We are big fans of both Vince Gill and John Anderson as well. Vince doesn't live far from that area and they said that he regularly stops in there and also at the nearby Krispie Kreme. It wasn't long ago when we were buying an entire gallon of milk for less than $4.00 The food prices were definitely fairly priced though. I love this place, but it’s been a few years since we’ve been. The very first time we went, it was a 2 hour wait, but totally worth it! All of your food looked so good, especially Gentry’s pancakes! Thanks so much for this review and a reminder to get back up there! Lol! 😊
We agree - the wait to get a table is always long, but so worth it. We noticed that several people were getting the to-go biscuits next door at their new to-go locations in the Shell station and they would walk back over to one of the picnic tables to eat. We talked about doing that on our next visit. Gentry was a big fan of their pancakes and they heated up the syrup right before bringing it out to the table. The pork chops were excellent and their fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly. Gentry had to pick something different than macaroni from the menu this time, so he went straight for the pancakes. We have ate there, also live about 25 miles from there. The food is ok, over rated and priced , but it a tourist stop when in Nashville. Several restaurants within 30 minute drive that serve better food and lower prices, they get the local business.

The Loveless Cafe seems to have become more of a tourist attraction in recent years but it's still a really fun place to visit and their bisuits/jam are so good! We visit your county frequently and had planned on going to the Williamson County Fair this year, but couldn't make it work with our schedule. Thanks to tourism, they have reduced their menu size, removed locally beloved menu items, and become a place no locals want to go.
We are locals and still enjoy going here, but miss the days when there wasn’t a long wait to be seated. We’re sorry to hear that your recent experiences at The Loveless Cafe have not been as pleasant.
