I have ate at Uncle Bud's. And their whole entire menu is plum fantastic! I love that place to go to eat at. Love the service and the people who work there. Always keeping your bowls full and keeping your plate full of catfish and fried chicken.

Yes sir I sure did try their fried chicken and the chicken was fantastic! As well as everything else there on the menu!

Brent, I'll have some catfish but, will pass on the rest! The fish, hush puppies, Coleslaw and beans looked so good and the potato wedges did too! The fixins are the same as Huck Finns. It even looks similar on the inside. This looks great. I love clams! Oysters is my favorite seafood, but clams are a close second. I also love scallops! The banana pudding looked wonderful! That frog on the wall at the beginning of the video is too cute!!
We thought the same thing. It's like the Nashville version of Huck Finn's. You would really enjoy their clams here. They were some of the best that Brent and I have had. We hope that you're having an amazing week, Cathy. God bless!
We have ate here before!!! There was one in Chattanooga and it closed down long ago. One time we drove all the way to Nashville to eat here for my father in laws birthday !
It seems like they have all closed down except for this location. Jennifer has been to one at a different location in the past and thought it was just okay, but she really enjoyed this location. We're thinking that they may put more focus and effort into this location since it's the last one remaining and their business is not as spread out. We hope that y'all are having an amazing week.
Everything looked so good!! I've never had the nerve to try gator but love frog legs! And everything else on those plates. Henry, he's a great eater and not afraid to try anything and Gentry is really branching out now on his food choices. Glad to see that too! Both are so darn cute! You've done a great job of parenting with them. ❤
You should definitely try gator sometime, Gayla. The texture is different, but the taste is excellent. We think that you'd really enjoy it if you enjoy frog legs. They have chicken livers omg!!!!!!! I would tear those hushpuppies up into those beans and onions.....yum. Too bad they don't offer another potato choice.....not a fry fan. Looked so yum!

Hi, Candy! We bet that their chicken livers are great too, as everything we tried there was so delicious. Those hush puppies with the beans and onions were excellent. If you enjoy potato wedges, you may like their fries….they were very similar with that tasty seasoning on the outside. Gators would definitely eat those chicken livers up….LOL! That banana pudding was so good!! We were talking about it on the way home and how they need to enter the National Banana Pudding Festival here in Tennessee. We did film on Sunday. it was approximately 2:00 in the afternoon or so when we arrived. Our church lets out at 11:00, but it looks like some people were coming from later services. The food here looks really good. We probably perfer non breaded seafood but sometimes we crave breaded seafood and this all looks delicious. All the extra items look good as well.
On a side note do you all have a video on Hattie Bs ? If not can you all do a review on that restaurant in the Nashville area. We ate at one while traveling with our daughter and her family before we really got our channel going.

Like everything else, Uncle Buds is not what they used to be.
This was Jennifer's 2nd time to visit an Uncle Buds location. Her first visit was just okay, but she really enjoyed this visit. She thinks that maybe the quality has improved since they shut down the other locations and can now put their efforts into the one remaining location.

In Nashville working for a few days and so far I've worked so late every night that my dining options were limited. Maybe I can make it to Buds tonight. Been there before and loved it. And I do need some new shades.
We're hopeful that you'll be able to get off work a little earlier this evening and maybe you can make it over to Buds. Tonight is the unlimited fish fry night too. We love Shady Rays and have been wearing them for years. I've scratched up a pair before, paid $8.00 for the lost/broken warranty fee, and they shipped us a brand new pair. Their lost and broken warranty is great and we enjoy that they give back to local community and military veteran programs. We hope that you enjoy your time over in Nashville.

Agreed on the taste of frog legs.Here in Chicago,hot sauce is the obvious pairing with catfish.I have changed to honey mustard.Is that considered a “sin”?

Are ShadyRays made in the USA?
Great question, Chris. While the company was founded in Kentucky and the parent headquarters is here in the USA, just like most larger sunglasses companies (Oakleys, Ray Bans, etc.), they manufacture the sunglasses overseas. However, the sunglasses are still designed here in the U.S. and the distribution centers employ a great number of American workers. It's so difficult to find anything that's 100% American made anymore. I have always driven American made trucks, but many of the parts are still manufactured overseas unfortunately.

Can I ask why do you all cut & edit out your actual swallowing and facial reactions to the food? It doesn't appear to be as genuine, authentic.....because we can't actually see you eating each bite. However, thanks for the food reviews & your efforts made.
@josalynhouston444 - We made the decision to edit out the chewing early on with our channel and have had lots of people over the time that we've had our channel comment that they enjoy that we cut that out, as they don't want to watch people chew their food, and that's what they enjoy about our channel. While there's likely others like you who may not enjoy that we edit it out, that is what we do on our channel and what we will continue to do. Every channel has a different style - there are some channels that don't even pay for their meals. We have declined many free meals so that we can give a genuine and authentic review without being bought for our opinion (that's why we show our receipts). Our channel or style may not be for everyone and we're okay with that.
