The Judds were an American country music mom & daughter duo who had a lot of hits from the 80's-90's. "Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout The Good Old Days)", "Why Not Me", "Hurt", "Mama He's Crazy", "Girls Night Out", "Love Is Alive", "Have Mercy", "Cry Myself To Sleep", "Don't Be Cruel", "Rockin’ With The Rhythm Of The Rain", "I Know Where I'm Going", "Maybe Your Baby's Got The Blues", "Turn It Loose", "Give A Little Love", "Change Of Heart", Young Love (Strong Love)" etc. Wynonna went on to have a great solo career. Sadly Naomi (mom) passed away in 2022.
In just six short years, the Judds sold more than twenty million records worldwide and won over sixty industry awards including five Grammys, nine Country Music Association Awards, and Eight Billboard Music Awards. Be fore they made it in Music Naomi (mom) was a nurse. Sadly Naomi passed away due to suicide. There is another Judd, her name is Ashley, she became an actress.
My sister and I sang at a benefit together only 1 time together in her life.. and it was this song...I lost my only sibling 9 yrs ago. RIP sis.. love you...
This is one of my favorite songs ever! Wynona, the daughter in the group has many great songs in her own right. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and country was so great during that time, The Judds included.
Their harmonies are unmatched. Naomi (the mom) wrote this song. They had a tumultuous relationship, but always came together. Wynonna is an absolute powerhouse and continues to perform. A beautiful woman!
Ok really I love how you are open enough to bring these songs back around and seeing how they effect you now many years later. Thanks to you and your Beautiful wife.
Don't forget about Ashley, the Judd sister who chose another path and also became a success. The whole family was/is gifted...Wynonna with her beautiful voice, Ashely and her wonderful acting chops, and Naomi's determination to drive her daughters to success.
My sister played this song at our mom's memorial , this is the song my sister would listen to while she was by moms' bedside when she was in the hospital this song means alot to my family, my mom passed away on Labor Day 2022 (9-5-22) from pancreatitis, she was 63 years old , her death was unexpected, even though my mom had a tube down her throat, the time my sister spend up in the hospital she was able to forgave and makes things right with mom
The Judds had so many beautiful songs like " Mama's hands " and " Grandpa tell me bout the good ol days " they are mother and daughter and you feel the love they have for the music and each other. Thank you for reacting to this
This came out during their farewell tour. Naomi was ill and Wynona would go out on her own. Odd, when they announced they would do a return tour, they sang this and i was so excited. Then Naomi passed. Almost as she gave her farewell then. Judds will always have a place in my heart. Granny and i would sing at jam sessions Mama he's Crazy. I was probably fourteen fifteen, good memories.
This is such a beautiful song! The Judd's have an amazing catalog of music! Certainly a rabbit hole to go down. Sadly, Naomi Judd committed suicide in 2022 after a decades long battle with severe depression. Truly a very sad story! This song needs to be played more now then ever. As a human race, we were more united then, than we are now, sadly! Makes me want to cry when I think about it. I don't understand how we could go so far backwards, we are ALL humans and ALL should have the same rights. No people are greater than others. Thanks for the wonderful reaction!
More Judds! Naomi won awards for writing this song, and it clearly stands the test of time. Their harmonies are unparalleled and every one of their songs demonstrate the quality and power of their artistry...and are hallmarks in the country genre. You definitely need to learn more about them and their music. And as others have said, rest in peace Naomi, finally. Such a tragic loss.
Sebs, this Mother Daughter Duo were Big in the 80's. and 90's. Wynonna, the daughter has a set of God's Given Pipes that will blow you away. Rest in Heavenly Peace Naomi. 🙏💖🎸
Gosh: the world has changed SO MUCH in this ole woman's lifetime....too bad it's not all for the BETTER of everyone! This song still makes me tear-up....
It’s honestly incredible how Naomi was able to become a music artist at such a late age - they are incredible. Also beautiful knowing she wrote this song as a powerful song when she knew she was about to retire.
This song was popular when I was in middle school. I was in show choir at the time, and we did this song around the time of the Gulf War. We also kept it positive, did songs like Put on a Happy Face from Bye Bye Birdie, That's What Friends are For, and, of course, to be patriotic, God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. Probably wouldn't be able to get approval in a public school to do that last song now. We are in different times, for sure.
They had a tumultuous life but made some beautiful songs. Wynonna also has a very success solo career. Naomi (the mother) had long suffered from depression and several illnesses and committed suicide in April 2022. The actress Ashley Judd is also Naomi's daughter and Wynonna's sister.
7:11 how people can say that today is equal to what we had in the past? It’s like I know that there were a hell of a lot of us that were alive in the 80s so why are we here now? Question the agenda I don’t hate anyone we’ve been trying to push love for a long time, and yet that’s not what anyone is hearing!
I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert several times. In one of the concerts was at an amusement park near me. I was working security and usually worked the concerts. After the concerts, they gave all the employees autographs and merch. My co-workers came in the next day teasing me by showing me the stuff they got from the Judds, shortly after that one of my best friends walked in with a gift bag for me. It was an autograph and a bunch of mersh, I was told I was jumping for joy while crying that they thought of me after what was a bad year for me.
The Judds were an amazing Duo, Wynonna is still singing. When I first heard this I was in a horribly abusive relationship and I had mad a friend online in Australia. Many months go by and I had started the divorce process because she started meaning enough to me to make her my wife. This will always have a special place in my heart. I was never able to pursue it but I still think of her often.
My Aunt Deborah lost her husband of 21 years back in the 90's and every single day for the following 3 years, she visited his grave and sang this song to him. I went with her a few times and added my voice to hers. ❤️
The Judds were on the top. Through all jaunders of music. And before their music the mom was a nurse, and got hepatitis C. So she retired after a while due to this. Naomi the mom wrote most of their music as well as Wanona. They only had to that open their mouth an Angels sang. Out could just had their magical moments. Ashley Judd went into acting. They were in close net contact with each other. The last year Naomi.dicided she couldn’t go on and took her on life. That hurts so bad. My husband of 34 years, my brother at 68. That is the hardest grief. It Kills so much of you too. And you just can’t seem to go on. Only by Gods Strength can carry you through. They have too many wonderful songs, it’s hard to pick one.
My first concert was The Judds farewell tour. Love all their songs. Also Sebs, the actress Ashley Judd is part of this family. Sister to Wynonna and daughter to Naomi.
This song was written by Paul Overstreet, like "when you say nothing at all", and most of Randy Travis hits. Great messages and he has a few great ones like "seeing my father in me", "All the fun".
Aloha!! You're going to LOVE the Judds. Their music kept me company when I was stationed overseas. 😄Wynonna, the daughter, has continued her music journey and you will be able to find some great songs from her collection as well.
The Judds' harmonies were nearly unmatched. As an FYI, the other daughter you may have heard of ... Ashley, who is an actress. Two movies that she starred in that come to mind are "Double Jeopardy" and "Kiss the Girls."
Love can build a bridge was the " Title Cut " from the album. - the ablbum came out in nov. of 1990 ; I had graduated in Jun of 1990. so I was 18 / 19 when the album was released - Love Can Build a Bridge was a very successful album for the Judds. Eventually Wynona Judd the daughter would seperate from her mom Naomi Judd and have a successful solo career. Naomi passed away. I still like all of the music that the Judds and eventually Wynona would do solo. Anothe duo to check out is Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the brother to John Michael Montgomery.
This song is just as much revenant today as it was when she sang it this song needs to be played on loud speakers from stated to state to remind people to love each other put down the guns find away to work things out No it’s Sedona AZ
This song, its content, and their harmonies always bring a tear to my eyes. I love your reaction to this song and your words ... very profound, Sebs. ♥ PS ... I'm not asking for you to do a reaction, but if you want to listen to a song with a message, check out The Judds' "The Sweetest Gift". It's a song of love to the maximum.
There is so much good to say about the Judds, this song’s message and the vocals and the video… and the sadness about Naomi’s battle with depression and unfortunate suicide. I want to highlight Seb’s words… if Sebs is anything like this in real life, what an incredible guy he must be. “LLove is still the bridge between us and whoever we think “they” might be. Yeah love is accepting people the way they are, Love is telling the truth. But then And also making sure we listen a little bit more than we are telling our truth. Sometimes love is not focusing on the problem itself but doing some service. We don’t have to lie or pretend we’re anything different to love each other but maybe do just acts of service, listening and if we do some introspection if there an issue we have that Ms actually stupid one, let it go…. I think I met people from like over 120 different countries…… I learned just how alike we are all, all of us want to be heard, all of have honestly the same faults, just different iterations of it, and all of us are capable of the same amount of good and evil, but serving and hearing each other works literally with everybody. Even when there’s a bridge we think maybe is to long to cross.”
The Judds are amazing and their story is worth looking into when you have time. This song was my song and my Brother's song to our Mama when we grew up and moved away to build our lives far from our sweet hometown in South Georgia . It always plays on my heart strings and now that my Mama has gone home to Our Father's arms I think of the road I'm walking to make my way back to be reunited with The Lord and my Mama. It can touch anyone and however they interpret it. One of my favorites. You would also love their song , " River of Time". Naomi ( the Mom ) struggled with mental issues and depression for who knows how long. She wrote this song about her struggles and Wynnona sang it at her Mother's Celebration of Life and the words came very vivid after she had passed away and how. Another song since I know you are a recovering country music hater ( Lol!) Is Reba McEntire's song, " Seven Minutes in Heaven". Its so beautiful but a warning is it may get you emotional.
I hope you check out more of The Judds. I like "Love Is Alive" and "Young Love (Strong Love)". They were a phenomenon in the 80s. They would've had 16 straight #1 hits if it weren't for two songs, one of which went to #2 and another to #10. Still, that's extraordinarily impressive.
Yes definitely time. To much shooting and killing. So sad momma Judd is gone. Beautiful voices. They were always so good. But we definitely need love in this country. So sad the way things are these days. I'm 73 and I can see how bad it is in our country. I wish it would change. I have a great grandson that's 9 and in school and I am afraid for him. I don't even turn the news on to much sadness everytime I turn it on. It has to change. Love to all.❤
The Judds are an Iconic Country Duo. Naomi Judd and Wynonna wrote all of their songs. They also gave many country singers a hand up by having them as the opening acts. The other daughter is Actress Ashley Judd. I just caught up on your channel. I loved your reaction when watching Three Wooden Crosses. That was shot after Randy Travis had a stroke, it was one of his last shows. If you really want to listen to some of Willie Nelson. He has performed with all genres and even went to Amsterdam with Snoop Dog and is one of the biggest pot smokers in the world, he even out smoked Snoop
We, as the general public, were working on that, until the 90s and the powers that be decided they had more power if the races and genders were at odds with one another
Just like Alabama there is no bad Judds song. This and GRANDPA TELL ME ABOUT THE GOOD OLE DAYS and JOHN DEERE TRACTOR are great. Also just fyi the actress Ashley Judd is sister and daughter of the Judds. Interesting
Hey Seb ya should watch the movie.its called love can build a bridge. It's the true story about the struggle and their iconic rise to the best mother and daughter duo
I miss what I called, "Judd music." They had such great harmonies. You will find a lot of Country groups with great harmonies. Here are a few others; "The Statler Brothers," "The Forester Sisters," "The Kendalls," "The McCarter Sisters," "The Girls Next Door," "The Oak Ridge Boys" "The Gatlin Brothers" "The Carter Family/Sisters" "Jim Ed Brown & the Browns" And a must listen to group of Ladies(if you haven't already) is Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris from their albums Trio 1 & Trio 2. Not one bad song!!! I have mentioned just a few, for there are many more great singers with beautiful harmonies.
You like songs with messages, you need to hear Wynonna Judd sing "Testify To Love." The chorus includes "With every breath I take I will give thanks to God above. For as long as I shall live, I will testify to love." She premiered it in in a touching, even heartbreaking episode of Touched By An Angel. If you've never watched the show you should check it out too. BTW the actress Ashley Judd is Naomi's daughter and Wynonna's sister.
The crowd that has decided that EVERYTHING offends them has really eased a lot of pressure from the rest of us because we know that whatever we do will offend them so we don't even worry about it any more. When you try your hardest NOT to offend anyone and then you find they are offended by such things as the American Flag and Mother's Day and wishing someone Merry Christmas that sort of makes me not even worry about them any more. I don't know if I explained that so you can understand but I guess I'm saying when your best is no longer good enough, I for one don't even try any more. I sort of think they would be offended if they couldn't find something to offend them! So they can just be offended as much as they like. I no longer care.
Mom and daughter are the country group. The older is Wynona and the younger is Naomi. Wynona is aunt and Naomi is cousin to the popular actress Ashley Judd. I'm not sure there has ever been a better Duo in country music than these 2 except possibly the giant ones like Brooks & Dunn, Or Montgomery Gentry. Sadly the Judds AND Montgomery Gentry have been cut in a half in the last 5 years. Rockin with the Rythm of the Rain is my absolute favorite. You would love both 'Grandpa' and this one, 'Love Can Build A Bridge' the most I think. Edit: I said Wynona was the older one but its Naomi.
Sadly, there may be some people who would be offended but as someone who is part Native American, I can say with assurance that my native American family, friends and especially, my ancestors, would not be. My grandma on one side and Great- Grandma on the other side, both were orphaned during relocation. But my granny never taught anything but love and compassion.
It was also the last one they performed before Naomi died last year.
Not a bad song on the list!
Love is - accepting every one for who they are and letting yourself feeling the joy when you let love in your heart and soul.
The world is what we make it!!!!!!! That was the message of the Judds one of the greatest duets in country music
My sister and I sang at a benefit together only 1 time together in her life.. and it was this song...I lost my only sibling 9 yrs ago. RIP sis.. love you...
no cheddar....this song is PURE GOLD...great message, great lyric, great vocals...love it

A beautiful song. And nothing cheesy about it. There's never anything cheesy about love and respect. Thanks for a great review.
There is nothing cheesy about this song. Nothing. This message needed to be heard at that time and even more so today!!
The Judds had so many beautiful songs like " Mama's hands " and " Grandpa tell me bout the good ol days " they are mother and daughter and you feel the love they have for the music and each other. Thank you for reacting to this
LOVED The Judds HARMONIES!!! SO 'in tune", together...RIP, Naomi!! HUGS, SEBS!

Songs like this need to be rereleased and hit the charts again to remind people what to aspire to.
Sebs, this Mother Daughter Duo were Big in the 80's. and 90's. Wynonna, the daughter has a set of God's Given Pipes that will blow you away. Rest in Heavenly Peace Naomi. 🙏💖🎸
Yes she does - she is a POWERHOUSE!
Gosh: the world has changed SO MUCH in this ole woman's lifetime....too bad it's not all for the BETTER of everyone! This song still makes me tear-up....
I cry every time I hear this song 🎶
It’s honestly incredible how Naomi was able to become a music artist at such a late age - they are incredible. Also beautiful knowing she wrote this song as a powerful song when she knew she was about to retire.
This song still makes me cry.
Yes- The Judds! They grabbed at oour hearts and our minds- and the harmonies- wow. Try Grandpa, tell me bout the good ole days.
What a wonderful team Naomi was always so proud of their accomplishments may she rest in peace
They had a tumultuous life but made some beautiful songs. Wynonna also has a very success solo career. Naomi (the mother) had long suffered from depression and several illnesses and committed suicide in April 2022. The actress Ashley Judd is also Naomi's daughter and Wynonna's sister.

Mother/daughter country duo….u should check out their song “Grandpa, tell me bout the good ole days”
My favorite Judd's song
I've heard this song 1000 times over the years but never listened to it until today. Thank you Sebs. The gut punch was well needed.
Released in 1990. Best female Duo ever.
Grandpa is one of my favorite songs!! Also, Mama He's Crazy!
My Aunt Deborah lost her husband of 21 years back in the 90's and every single day for the following 3 years, she visited his grave and sang this song to him. I went with her a few times and added my voice to hers. ❤️
Beautiful song one of my favorites from the Judds
Love the Judds! I’m not sure if you know but actress Ashley Judd is the daughter/sister of this duo. Such a talented family.

Naomi was a beautiful person inside and out. Love her voice. R I P .
Ahhh been long time since I listened to this one. "GRANDPA" will make you tear up for sure! ❤ That's my favorite!
Naomi ( the mother) was scared of heights when she made this video and that's why she doesn't move in the video
My first concert was The Judds farewell tour. Love all their songs. Also Sebs, the actress Ashley Judd is part of this family. Sister to Wynonna and daughter to Naomi.

The Judds are a country treasure. You need to explore them more. Even Wynonna when she went out on her own. Great reaction
I saw them in concert years ago and they were awsome❤🎼
The Judds' harmonies were nearly unmatched. As an FYI, the other daughter you may have heard of ... Ashley, who is an actress. Two movies that she starred in that come to mind are "Double Jeopardy" and "Kiss the Girls."
Those were both terrific thrillers.

Naomi Judd was full of love, and it came from the Lord our God. She often spoke of him. Love just oozed out of her when she talked.
Naomi's other daughter is Ashley Judd , such a talented family.
Love your reaction. This was one of the Judds earleir hits. Some songs get better with time and this is one of those.
This song, its content, and their harmonies always bring a tear to my eyes. I love your reaction to this song and your words ... very profound, Sebs. ♥
PS ... I'm not asking for you to do a reaction, but if you want to listen to a song with a message, check out The Judds' "The Sweetest Gift". It's a song of love to the maximum.

One of my favorite from them ❤
This song always gets me in the feels.
Wynonna Judd's "No One Else On Earth" is worth a look.
Believe me when I say… I listen to this daily. I love love this song ❤ thank you 🙏 for this ❤
This song was one of the most popular songs when it was released. Still love it so much!
When it came out it was in 3D. Please do more then every song is great.
Rip Naomi….excellent harmony..mom and daughter. ❤One if my favs. Love the video. Drives it home.
The actress, Ashley Judd, is sister to Winona and daughter to Naomi...
I like your words at the end. Let’s pray that Love can heal our world. Hate can’t win if Love perseveres.
I love this song. The message is needed today. Very much so.
I hope you check out more of The Judds. I like "Love Is Alive" and "Young Love (Strong Love)".
They were a phenomenon in the 80s. They would've had 16 straight #1 hits if it weren't for two songs, one of which went to #2 and another to #10. Still, that's extraordinarily impressive.
please do more of Judds my favorite song by them young love/strong love
Wynona also has two stunningly beautiful hits called “Only Love”, and “Is It Over Yet”. ❤
Yes definitely time. To much shooting and killing. So sad momma Judd is gone. Beautiful voices. They were always so good. But we definitely need love in this country. We are the world, USA for Africa
This is the BEST commentary you’ve done!! Thank you for sharing your message!!
That is a great way to see the people of the world! I hope your message can reach a lot of ears. Thank you ❤❤❤
Wynonna has a beautiful voice and as a duo they couldn’t be stopped.

He has performed with all genres and even went to Amsterdam with Snoop Dog and is one of the biggest pot smokers in the world, he even out smoked Snoop
Love is the cure.
This song always gets a tear to my eye . I wish people today would really hear this message. Check out the song Grandpa tell me about the good ol days
Love the song, video. Great reaction. Thanks
We, as the general public, were working on that, until the 90s and the powers that be decided they had more power if the races and genders were at odds with one another
Amen!!❤
Love is Alive, Young Love, River Of Time, Turn It Loose! Just a few!
If I could sing like anyone in the world it would be Wynonna hands down. I couldn’t even begin to name all the songs I would recommend from them!
This video is actually 3D. When it was released it was an event. If I recall correctly...3D Glasses were distributed maybe through a Cola Company.
They were HUGE!
Rip Namoi Judd
Need to watch the live version from their farewell tour
This song gives me chills every time I hear it.
I miss what I called, "Judd music."
They had such great harmonies.
You will find a lot of Country groups with great harmonies.
Here are a few others;
"The Statler Brothers,"
"The Forester Sisters,"
"The Kendalls,"
"The McCarter Sisters,"
"The Girls Next Door,"
"The Oak Ridge Boys"
"The Gatlin Brothers"
"The Carter Family/Sisters"
"Jim Ed Brown & the Browns"
And a must listen to group of Ladies(if you haven't already) is
Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris from their albums Trio 1 & Trio 2. Not one bad song!!!
I have mentioned just a few, for there are many more great singers with beautiful harmonies.
Wynona is a rocker as well. Check out her song “Girls with Guitars”. Vince Gill is featured in it.
You like songs with messages, you need to hear Wynonna Judd sing "Testify To Love." The chorus includes "With every breath I take I will give thanks to God above. For as long as I shall live, I will testify to love."
She premiered it in in a touching, even heartbreaking episode of Touched By An Angel. If you've never watched the show you should check it out too.
BTW the actress Ashley Judd is Naomi's daughter and Wynonna's sister.
Great song Sebs Love your channel!!
You have a beautiful family, hope you
Have a Happy, Healthy New Year 🎊
💞💞💞💞
❤ 😢❤😢❤😢❤ love
Mom and daughter are the country group. The older is Wynona and the younger is Naomi. Wynona is aunt and Naomi is cousin to the popular actress Ashley Judd.
I'm not sure there has ever been a better Duo in country music than these 2 except possibly the giant ones like Brooks & Dunn, Or Montgomery Gentry.
Sadly the Judds AND Montgomery Gentry have been cut in a half in the last 5 years.
Rockin with the Rythm of the Rain is my absolute favorite. You would love both 'Grandpa'
and this one, 'Love Can Build A Bridge' the most I think.
But my granny never taught anything but love and compassion.
ys Love is still the bridge, and we have to walk that bridge and bring love to others.
