@@DutchGuitarDude Never would I have thought of even considering something like this but today, I swapped a muddy Gretsch bt-2s neck pickup with this and it sounds terrific.
@@DutchGuitarDude Still love the modern fidelity and sound of these, but like all obsessive guitarists, I may purchase some phat cats for a more vintage vibe. Forgot to mention, lovely playing! Thanks again.
Good morning Mister Dude...once again, you're right..i did discover those pickups few months ago , and was quite impressed...your sensibility IS higher than mine and its even more evident!

@@DutchGuitarDude so, Im going to keep the Neck Pickup.. and replace the bridge... I love them together but Im just experimenting,,, both pickups were very good for the price tho but very hot! when I would use for live performance the hum was crazy while using overdrive and you have to know how to tame the beasts lol. But I liked them alot
Very nice Eric. At $12 us how can you go wrong? They also have them alnico for $3 us more. Could be interesting comparison. I love p90's. Your playing as always...great
DutchGuitarDude, really good demo video. These pickups sound so nice that I just had to order a pair to put in my project strat which also just happens to have a white pearl HSH pickguard. Do you happen to know what value (500k or 250K) pots were fitted to yours? Big thanks from me and best wishes..
I've been using these for a while now and I'm very impressed. They are very responsive to volume and tone controls, turned up a bit and through an overdrive turns my strat into a real rock machine. With controls backed off they can be really clean and crisp sounding. Very versatile pickups so a big thanks again for the demo and putting me on to these pickups.
Hi, great playing! I believe I got a set just like this, did your set of pickups consists of 1 pickup with black wire, and the other pickup with red wire? Do you know how to tell which one is bridge and which one is neck, without measuring DC resistance? I currently do not have access to multimeter. Thanks
The Cantrell Project - Wilkinson make a mini humbucker (similar to a Firebird pickup) that with it's surround will drop straight into a traditional P90 route. Search for: 'Wilkinson WMHR Alnico V Mini Humbucker Pickup P90' and you should find it. Hope this helps.
There are dozens of p-90 sized humbuckers out there. Dimarzio makes one, so does TV Jones. You have chinese knock offs that are very cheap as well. And if all else fails, play mini-humbuckers.
i installed them on my fender stratocaster , they sound fanstactic
I can't believe you actually made a review of these chinese p90's. Thank you.
You are welcome

Cool!
Beautiful sound.I ordered high output pickups yesterday from Yibuy for my LP and looking forward to test them.
It's amazing how they sound for the money
You will love them
Just had 2 fitted to my Strat
I put them in 3 guitars one SG and in two Les Pauls copys and i love them for the price of only $17.99 from amazon
Those sound amazing 👍
Yes, I couldn't believe it for this money! They sound fabulous
Great demo dude! Thanks! Could You try more yibuy pickups, please!
I will and try that. These are great! Thx
love your playing! and that guitar looks and sounds amazing, I may clone it :)
Thx so much, spread the word bro
I just pulled trigger on these to go in my cheap Epi studio hope they sound as nice when I use them lol 😂
I love the sound of these. I couldn't believe it the first time I plugged in. Let me know how it turns out for you buddy!
I'm about to buy a set for my old beat-up Epiphone Les Paul Special II.
They are awesome. Best pickups for the money!
DutchGuitarDude Thanks they enroute as we type apparently

Thx so much bud. Yeah they sound amazing. Especially for this price!
is it close to strat neck pickup sounding?
I think yes. Like front pickup but bigger.
Almost 4 years late but did they produce any microphonic feedback when in high gain?
With really high gain yes
@@DutchGuitarDude How high do u think is really high? Planning on using them with high gain overdrive that's almost close to distortion.
That should be all right
Nice
hello good afternoon do you know the "donlis" guitar pickups? Which one do you think Yibuy and Donlis win?
No sorry I only know yibuy
Sounds great!
I’m thinking of these for my SG kit. I’m looking for both clean tones, and the acdc classic rock punch. Would these be a good choice?
I'm not sure about acdc stuff but they are very good for clean and medium drive
Sounds like a compressed strat! Btw, what are your thoughts on 21 frets? Do you miss the 22nd at all?
No I'm a vintage guy anyway, so I don't miss the 22th fret

I believe 250k. If that's what normally goes with humbuckers. There where humbuckers in this guitar before these pickups.
@@DutchGuitarDude Thanks. Normally 500k with most humbuckers but yours sound very good. Can't wait to get mine now..

I'm still very happy with them. They are a bit on the noise side with a lot of gain tho. I use them more for clean to medium gain sounds
Are these humbucker sized P90’s? I want to fit them into a guitar that had a regular humbucker route. Thanks for any info!
This guitar had humbuckers too, then i chaged it to these p90s. It fits.
Sounds great. Were they wax potted also?
No they aren't, I think you can get them more quite when you do that
Amazing sound. I suppose they are ceramic, am I right?
Yes I think so
@@DutchGuitarDude Thanks👍👍👍👍
So what :-) Use your ears and decide
Exactly!
well played! Do you think these pups are as good as those Seymour Duncan pups?
Considering the price yes. I'm very happy with these pups and don't see a reason to upgrade!
For the price difference Yes !

I don't know, because I have guy that does the soldering work for me. I will ask him
@@DutchGuitarDude thank you man, very much appreciated!
Wholly shit Why does it sound so good??? 😂
I don't know either
what tremolo is this?
Tremolo or the organ sound?
This is great but why cant anybody create a humbucker that fits into a p90 slot. Amd triple wow for the sound of the bluguitar rec out. Killer tone
