@@auditect950 "Lay unmoving on the floor" is sometimes a euphemism for dead. And given that Pokemon is a kid's game, it can be a case of "Don't say Death". With Parasect having the eyes of a zombie, chances are the insect is no more (well, likely wasn't alive anymore if it was a zombie).
I mentioned the Parasect thing on a Reddit forum and was SWIFTLY corrected by someone who told me that those Parasect were "Unmoving" because they were DEAD. Just like the REAL parasitic fungus kills its host after making it move into the open so it can spread its spores and infect more bugs.
Imagine the mushroom being it's own grass parasite fungus pokemon which can parasotically control other bug types changing their types or even their final form?
Quick note about Burmy, it's always pure bug type regardless of cloak. Once the cloak becomes permanent as it evolves into Wormadam, then the different types apply.
I love how Torterra is shown to grow to a huge degree, in the dex being said as a moving forest and in the Detective Pikachu showing that they were running on top of giant Torterras. Then the same for Avalugg, whose arguably a turtle as well and is shown to grow to huge feats as well. Would be cool to know if they also grew to the size of Torterra in the movie and were like living sleeping glaciers. The world building you can do with pokémon is something else.
@@spencerstewart6 At the moment, no pokémon as big as those Torterra from the movie have been shown to get caught or atleast what I know of. But at the same time, they haven’t shown anyone actively trying to catch it in a poke ball. But if you were asking me, I’d think it’d be possible since we’ve seen pokeballs, talking about all and any type of pokeball since they’re all human made, able to catch not only strong or legendary mons, but also powerful forms, variants and even ultra beast. So it growing bigger in size, doesn’t exactly sound impossible to figure out to catch at this point.
You missed the two Shellder forms that latch onto Slowpoke to make Slowbro and Slowking. In their Dex entries it’s suggested that the Shellder can fall off and stay independent. Also the Original Dragon from Unova, which would be a form of Kyurem, which is the leftover body.
I thinks there's way more to say about Spiritomb ! In the mini serie of Professor Oak he asks Spiritomb to tell his form before he got sealed in the keystone and that will be a big discovery . In the anime somehow they did the mistake to show the flashbacks apparently When the first person ever beat Spiritomb and sealed him , it showed spiritomb with already his own keystone and ghost body - which makes no sense - but I guess it was for laziness to create the past form of Spiritomb to becoming canon etc..
I think it's worth to clarify that Burmy in all of its forms are pure bug type and only gain a new type upon evolving into Wormadam depending on the last cloak it wears.
Oh jeez, I started my pokemon obsession in Gen 4, and I didn't know that!!! I feel like that's so obvious in retrospect DX I thought they were bug/grass, bug/rock, bug/whatever the heck the trash one is-- all the way through!

Considering the Past and Future theme of Scarlet and Violet, maybe we will see some past or future forms of pokemon, like Drapion's family for example.
Genesect isn't really a mystery. It's Pok'edex entry literally tells you that the only thing they really changed on this Pok'emon was adding the cannon to it's back which would not have been there on the original Pok'emon. So a natural Genesect would just be the same one we see but without the cannon. It should also be noted that the Drives which can change Genesect's type to Fire, Ice, Water, or Electric would not be a thing you could use on the original version of this Pok'emon since the drives connect into it's cannon that aren't a natural part of the Pok'emon to begin with. Anyway... I thought this video was going to talk about forms that don't exist in the games but do exist in other media. Like Mewtwo's Armored form which has still never been seen in any Pok'emon game and Genesect's high speed form which was exclusive to the Anime. There's also that Crystal Onyx that was in the Anime and appeared to have a different type than regular Onyx and is technically the first regional variant Pok'emon LONG before Regional variants were introduced. I'm surprised they didn't set that first game in the Orange Islands and make Crystal Onyx an official regional variant. They did put the game on a group of islands and seemed to take a lot of inspiration from the Orange Islands in the Anime but at the same time it's almost like the game developers forgot the Orange Islands existed.
Well a few things, the Orange Archipelago was made by the anime, the game developers had no direct involvement so they technically have nothing to forget. Even then they probably did remember, as the Sevii Islands, I'm pretty sure were confirmed to take a lot of inspiration from the Orange Archipelago Secondly, while it's confirmed they pretty much just added the canon to Genesect, it can probably still be assumed that the armor was also added as well as some other attributes because the way Genesect flies, personally doesn't look to be just from the canon Lastly, the video is about forms never actually shown in any media (For the most part at least, with for example Paras without the mushroom), but are still heavily implied to exist from lore pieces Technically Qwilfish is one the first forms to have been implied and then later revealed. As the library in Sinnoh implied ancient forms had bigger spikes, later revealed in Legends: Arceus with Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil as that ancient form
The Paracect one has me confused. Unmoving without a mushroom confirms the controlling sounds to me like a discarded corps of Paracect and the mushroom has rotted, fallen off, etc. Not that there is one Living without a mushroom to be confirmed
I mean yeah it's very obvious those are simply dead specimens and not some sort of hidden form, however I do believe somewhere in the Pokemon world there has to be Paras without the Mushroom as they're not born with it. Hopefully in the future we get a Pure Paras regional variant, however what envirorment that would be, is tricky
Considering the colors and markings I wouldn't be surprised if the Galar fossil legs belonged to Dreepy's living form. It can't be a coincidence that the dragon legs look like this ghost dragon.
@@marhawkman303 I mean it's confirmed that Crawdaunt is using it's shape as intimidation, however if it's mimickty is still not confirmed as far as I'm aware, however if it is, it's definitely of Sharpedo
i thought Spiritomb's whole deal has been pretty clearly explained now, especially given the quest you get in Legends: Arceus. it's 108 human spirits trapped inside a stone, simple as. if it doesn't have the keystone, the spirits would presumably just scatter and wander about like in Legends before you caught them all.
I thought this lore was explained as early as even Diamond and Pearl, so the 108 souls idea has always been central to its identity and been very clear about it in the games.
I always thought that spiritomb was just the result of arceus punishing 81 spirits for their bad deeds when living so arceus locked them all in the key stone because another dex entry states that it is made up of 81 spirits. That also could explain how there are multiple but hard to find. Because that's arceus' main form of punishment when people perform bad deeds.

The Water thingy could simply be some sort of secret ability like Water Absorb (It's in the Water obviously) or something. Ice doesn't resist Water and Ground and or Rock is still weak to Water. Exactly, the parasitic fungus leaves the exoskeleton of its dead host behind. Doesn't mean that there still aren't probably isolated populations where paras and parasect can reach maturity without being killed and puppeted by mushrooms, but I don't thank that's what the dex was getting at.
@@rivetsquid8887 which makes me wonder.... what host? I think Hoops was hitting the right angle... he just used the wrong supporting evidence. Paras is a form that's a mix of a host and parasite... what would they be if separate?
Paras probably stops moving during the faze where the mushrooms spores begin rooting into the body. My theory is that Paras is actually an extinct pokemon and the mushrooms are now the pokemon which is why the breed with mushrooms.
YEAH! Paras/Parasect is in the GRASS breeding group! It can breed with an ODDISH!!!! Also Paras's original planned named for the English was "Parasyte"

a few years ago one of my friends gave me a cubone plushie for christmas , and funnily enough the skull cubone wears comes off, i don’t know if it was intentional or if it wasn’t sewn on properly, or if it’s just a bootleg. but either way i thought it was something fun to bring up considering the video
I once drew my own “concept art” of potential evolutions or just different forms of Mimikyu, one partially showing its true form, with its Pikachu disguise now being worn like a hoodie, and the final evolution/form being completely revealed, but keeping always its disguise nearby. It was a giant, scary monster. I wish I could find those drawings. I used to be pretty decent at drawing.
I always thought that the substitute doll is based on what Cubone looks like before its mother dies. It has all of the features of Cubone and their mother's skull.
I always thought there was some connection between parasect and crustle due to their similar appearance. Maybe some sort of biological adaption occurred where the bug started living under rocks as so the mushroom cannot grow there.
mimikyus height of 20 cm only includes up to the disguise's neck, there's a licenced life size plush that is about 20 cm up to its neck, so we can infer its body is small and round
Mimikyu somehow did actually got revealed in an episode of the anime, i saw that in a episode of Pokémon but it is just a black cloud with red eyes, when Moewth saw that he passed away somehow, plus: we still don’t know if the cloud is just another cloak?
You touched on Dreepy and the Galar fossils. We could also assume that every ghost type has a living counterpart. And every fossil Pokémon has an original form that wouldn’t necessarily have a rock typing.
Golem appears quite different than its earlier stages, like a sort of reptile inside a rock shell. It's possible that the earlier stages are also these kinds of critters just fully encased in rock
Actually, it is the other way around. It sheds it's skin to uncover a new white-ish one which than hardens again. It is still a form, that is mentioned in the Pokédex, but we haven't seen it.
I think the Geodude and Machop lines are connected through the same idea as Karrablast and Shelmet-- You NEED to trade the 2 families to truly understand them better.
Doesn't really look alike, I also believe it's no overstatement considering I'm pretty sure they actually used a fossil of some sort and the scientists probably know what they're talking about Also while not confirmed that the genetic basis was found in Unova (I think it was, but whatever) there's literally nothing hinting at that it was found in Sinnoh
There's also newborn vulpix that states in the dex that it starts out with just one white tail. We almost got something close with the baby vulpix in the GS leaks, but even that wasn't just one tail.
With the themes of past and future clearly present scarlet and violet we might see a real old genesect and maybe more past forms of other pokemon and even some future forms.
As a tangent regarding parasect; in Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon it's further confirmed that Parasect is the mushroom because when you talk to it it says "I, the mushroom, am in total control" and it's just been something that stuck wiht me, so creepy.
I would like to offer a theory on Dreepy and the idea that it has a living cousin. If you compare images of Dreepy side by side with Applin (sans apple) they look close enough in design that a person could easily argue that one is the ghost form of the other. Especially with both having Dragon as the base type.
Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed you included Wormadam in this list, since it's not wearing a cloak. Rather, the cloak it has as a Burmy merges with it and becomes its skin. Also, Burmy is a pure Bug type regardless of cloak. Its cloak only gives Wormadam a extra typing. Fun video and great idea for a list, but it could have used a bit more research. You included a lot of obscure stuff but fumbled a bit on some basics.
Not entirely on topic, but close: I want to see a Shellder that is on Slowking as a regional variant or something. It doesn’t even have to be regional. They could figure it out.
Actually, from what I recall, Burmy IS just a pure bug-type, no matter its cloak, it's only Wormadam, which, as mentioned by another comment, makes the cloak a part of its body, that changes type depending on which form of cloak it is. I also vividly remember Forretress as a case of this due to it being mentioned in PMDs "Seven wonders of the Pokemon World". btw, same should of course also apply for Pineco. One of my personal headcanons for Cubone is that their original species/their look under the mask doesn't matter, and that most of any Pokemon-species could become a Cubone if they lost their mother and decide to wear their skull, it's more of a group of Pokemon-orphans than an actual species... is one of the interpretations I came up with over the years. Obviously, this doesn't actually check out with the Cubones we catch in the game, although this would open up the possibility of "Cubones" of other species, like, a more bird-like Cubone, a quadruped Cubone, something along those lines. Another example I generally like to bring up is Makuhita, where its Sun Pokedex-entry feels like it's implying that the Makuhita we know is its Alolan form.
according to pokemon suns pokedex, makuhita might have a different form too, since the "alolan" makuhita is way more recognized than the makuhita of its original region
Something that would be pretty cool considering pokemon Scarlett is based in the past, have Dreepys pre-fossil form in that game, since it's in the past, and keep the normal-looking Dreepys (with the ghost typing) in pokemon violet. Dreepys "non-ghost" form could even be a new pokemon!! Or a different form... Could even do this with all the fossil pokemon from Sword and Sheild!!!
Those games arent based in the past or future. Theyre gonna take place at the same time. Also that would make all those forms new to the franchise and youre excluding them to one of two games
The Dragapult evolution line is exclusive to Violet, but there’s no prehistoric forms of it in Scarlet. Also, neither takes place in the past or future. It’s just a main theme.
Sad that you didn´t touched the kyurem total form since kyurem is the shell left behind when zekrom and reshiram were split from the original dragon. It is so heavily in the plot of black and white 2, i hope to see it in a legends unova.
To me, Dragapult original form was Dragon Water, because there's an ancient salamander with triangle head very much alike Dragapult, it even is one of the inspirations, so dragon/water would make sense
@Iamdoomcrow I doubt that. Tyranitar might look like a Dragon-Type, but it's simply a *Dinosaur* - it's a Ground or Rock-Type all the way through its Evolution Line. Not once does it gain a Dragon Typing, and it doesn't even belong to the Dragon Egg Group! Duraladon is a Single-Stage Steel Dragon, with no connection to Tyranitar whatsoever. It's even considered a Rival to Tyranitar in its Pokédex Entries! This mimics the Godzilla-MechaGodzilla Kaiju Rivalry in Japanese Cinema, with the Latter built to combat the Former...
16:05 cmon it’s clearly a Kabutops Kabutops is based on a horseshoe crab which isn’t an actual crab and is an arachnid and spiders and scorpions which are other arachnids have been bug type (with the exception of drapion but it’s just to make room for it’s dark type) so it was probably just a more accurate Kabutops but game freak had to change it to make genesect more unique

Quick theory: Applin true form might be an original Dreepy. Applin is Grass/Dragon and Dreepy is Ghost/Dragon, thus Applin without the apple would probably be just Dragon. Dreepy is said to have died and awoken as a Ghost, so we can also conclude that it was originally just a Dragon. Applin's true form does look like a Dreepy...
A Bug/Water Seaweed Cloak & Bug/Fire Obsidian or Magma Cloak Wormadam always seemed like a no Brainer to me. Favorite is a Bug/Ice Icicle Cloak forme. Should have had that.
Well it's a bagworm, so not really found in those envirorments. Also while the Seaweed Cloak idea sounds good, I'm not sure a water based Plant is enough to warrant a Water type as it's still well a Plant. Also an insect intentionally covering itself in molten Magma just sounds like a recipe for disaster, I'm not sure Burmy would like that
@@slicerneons3300 True, it's obviously not out of the question, especially considering it's Pokemon, but I personally don't see this happening. Especially considering how the Burmy line is both sadly forgettable and not that popular

What about the OG dragon from black and white, kyurem is supposed to be its form but its not the original typing for sure so it had to look different too

Shadow Mewtwo while confirmed in Pokemon media, not technically confirmed in main series games Shellder part of Slowbro is also one, however they probably can't exist without Slowpoke
I'm surprised you didn't mention vulpix as so many dex entries mention that at the time of birth it has only one tail and that tail is white. Yet never in the games or even the anime (to my knowledge) have we been shown this baby form or a vulpix with fewer than 6 tails. It's strange as there have many opportunities to show a single tailed vulpix in both the anime and games as this fact was first mentioned in Gen 1 and Gen 2 introduced us to baby Pokemon. Also in the anime Brock was given a vulpix in episode 28 and had it with him until episode 169. We've even gotten a regional variant with an Alolan form yet still no single tail vulpix. O_o
What's worse is that in the Sun and Moon Anime they actually have two Vulpix Eggs that hatch into a Kantonean Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix (that Lillie keeps) - and _neither_ of them displays this Single-Tailed trait! I'm certain that this confirms that the Pokédex description in RBYG is complete BS...
@@lianaverwood9810 Well that's the annoying part; it's not just Gen 1 that mentions the tail splitting, it's literally in the Pokedex for EVERY generation (at least in one of the versions)! Considering they've edited the Pokedex slightly for other Kanto Pokemon in current games I don't understand why they continue to have this in it when it's never shown to be true. I actually didn't even know about the newborn vulpix in Sun and Moon (didn't watch the anime), but that makes it even worse because in the Sun version the Kanto form's Pokedex states, "Its beautiful fur and tails have made it very popular. As it grows, its tails split to form more tails." So while it might not mention a single tail it does mention its tail splitting into more tails.
I love how everyone is more excited about the mushroomless parasect and not the thinking parasitic mushroom on the loose. Before you say the mushroom died, the issue with that is parts of the decayed mushroom would still be on the parasect. Notice how in the pokedex entry that it specifically states that the mushroom is gone, not rotted. This implies there is a point where the parasite willingly leaves the host, meaning somewhere there is a puppeteering mushroom pokemon looking for a new host.
That drawing for snorunt IS interesting. But concept art often shows the deconstruction of a character. It’s about structure and continuity in animation and design. That is not a secret form.
I've got an idea, What if wobbuffet's tail is a dybbuk, a ghost that usually latches onto someone or something's body, and when wobbuffet is too stressed out, it gets angry and tries to attack, but the tail doesn't let it, and wraps around it, and swallows it whole , while the wobbuffet lays unconscious inside, while the tail walks it away.
Another one that not a lot of people might think about/remember is Kyurem without the ice on its weird absorby arm things on its back. We see it break off when it uses "absofusion" on Reshiram/Zekrom and see what it's really supposed to look like. Unfortunately its face remains frozen, until it fuses that is. My dream is we'll one day get a Pokemon Legends: Unova where we can see the original dragon that the tao trio used to make up, or at the very least maybe an "unbound" (unfrozen) version of Kyurem
If wobbuffet's design concept is about boxing, maybe its actually a punching pads. Because in some countries like Philippines their punching pads that their coaches use had somewhat of a handle so I think that is the inspiration why wobbuffet's tail is like that
According to what exactly? Zolt for example seems to just be the last part of the name of the true form considering it's only the head that is used in the combinations and always acts as the last part of the name for those specific combinations. Same for the other forms, Draco only being the legs always being the first part
We must be careful when using adjectives, people. You cant describe everything as fabulous and wondrous because what does that mean? Snorunt is a ball with feet.

@@solierix Would like to see an alternative evolution for it where one gets rid of the mushroom.
I mentioned the Parasect thing on a Reddit forum and was SWIFTLY corrected by someone who told me that those Parasect were "Unmoving" because they were DEAD. Just like the REAL parasitic fungus kills its host after making it move into the open so it can spread its spores and infect more bugs.
it does make one wonder what these pokemon would be like with not fungus though.
Isn't that obvi obvious tho?
Imagine the mushroom being it's own grass parasite fungus pokemon which can parasotically control other bug types changing their types or even their final form?
@@sketch-eee4165 mmm yeah, fascinating idea.
For Hisuian Avalugg, I think that the greyish brown might also be rock covering, while what we can see of the seams are its real skin.
yeha that was my thought too.
Avalug stopped growing to be giant a few years before legends Arceus with the noble being the last of the giant avalugs
So with it being equivalent to a forest, would you still be able to catch it in a poke ball?
@@spencerstewart6 yes because all Pokémon have the innate ability to shrink

I believe that there was actually an officially licensed plush of cubone with a removable skull which showed a brown charmander-like pokemon
Not just a plush, an actual confirmed image as well.
I think it's worth to clarify that Burmy in all of its forms are pure bug type and only gain a new type upon evolving into Wormadam depending on the last cloak it wears.

Armored Mewtwo was in Pokémon Go.
Correction : Genesect doesn't change type. Its Signature attack is the one that changes type.
Well a few things, the Orange Archipelago was made by the anime, the game developers had no direct involvement so they technically have nothing to forget. Even then they probably did remember, as the Sevii Islands, I'm pretty sure were confirmed to take a lot of inspiration from the Orange Archipelago
Secondly, while it's confirmed they pretty much just added the canon to Genesect, it can probably still be assumed that the armor was also added as well as some other attributes because the way Genesect flies, personally doesn't look to be just from the canon
Lastly, the video is about forms never actually shown in any media (For the most part at least, with for example Paras without the mushroom), but are still heavily implied to exist from lore pieces
Technically Qwilfish is one the first forms to have been implied and then later revealed.
In all fairness, Professor Laventon thought chucking food was a revolutionary idea
i can’t understand this
I mean yeah it's very obvious those are simply dead specimens and not some sort of hidden form, however I do believe somewhere in the Pokemon world there has to be Paras without the Mushroom as they're not born with it.
Hopefully in the future we get a Pure Paras regional variant, however what envirorment that would be, is tricky
Considering the colors and markings I wouldn't be surprised if the Galar fossil legs belonged to Dreepy's living form. It can't be a coincidence that the dragon legs look like this ghost dragon.

i thought Spiritomb's whole deal has been pretty clearly explained now, especially given the quest you get in Legends: Arceus. it's 108 human spirits trapped inside a stone, simple as. if it doesn't have the keystone, the spirits would presumably just scatter and wander about like in Legends before you caught them all.
this isn't even just explained in arceus either, it's mentioned several times in other sources too
I thought this lore was explained as early as even Diamond and Pearl, so the 108 souls idea has always been central to its identity and been very clear about it in the games.
For the Dreepy line I would assume they’re Dragon/Water
exactly
Based on their appearance, that makes sense.
The dex says that it is made of 108 spirits not 81

The Water thingy could simply be some sort of secret ability like Water Absorb (It's in the Water obviously) or something. Ice doesn't resist Water and Ground and or Rock is still weak to Water.
Could obviously be Ice and Steel as while that doesn't resist Water it's not weak to it at least and would still explain it's Fire Weakness

Exactly, the parasitic fungus leaves the exoskeleton of its dead host behind.

Considering Legends: Arceus is 300 years before Kalosian Avalugg's debut, Hisuian Avalugg has always been more rocky, with newer Avalugg gaining MORE ice on it's body.
According to Vulpix's official dex, it was born white and had only one tail before splitting into six.
Unfortunately, the form only has text descriptions and no images appear in any media, but we can assume it looks like Alolan Vulpix.
Except we can see a Vulpix of both Regional Forms right from Birth in the Sun/Moon Anime, and neither display these traits!
There's a nice opening to see the galar fossils properly assembled with the new pokemon games as they deal with past and future so it would be interesting to see them do something with galars fossils

Quadruped Flaaffy?
Probably what you'd expect, a circular, smooth, round blue body.
BirdkeeperToby has a theory that Arceus has another unbound form too. Kind of like Spiritomb.
a few years ago one of my friends gave me a cubone plushie for christmas , and funnily enough the skull cubone wears comes off, i don’t know if it was intentional or if it wasn’t sewn on properly, or if it’s just a bootleg. but either way i thought it was something fun to bring up considering the video
The original form of Zekrom/Reshiram is what I would've like to see
I always thought that the substitute doll is based on what Cubone looks like before its mother dies. It has all of the features of Cubone and their mother's skull.
Did I miss shellder and cloyster? based on the rest of the list, they'd be on there. since apparently removing a shell counts as a different form.
I always thought there was some connection between parasect and crustle due to their similar appearance. Maybe some sort of biological adaption occurred where the bug started living under rocks as so the mushroom cannot grow there.
We should have gotten a Paras form as far back as sun and moon. How cool would a vulcano bug be
This is such a fun idea for a video. :D I like the theory of Cubone being a baby Charmander. I also think poor Genasect was a Kabutops.
mimikyus height of 20 cm only includes up to the disguise's neck, there's a licenced life size plush that is about 20 cm up to its neck, so we can infer its body is small and round
also it's got an animation where it uses it's actual tentacle arms to slap things.
I guess Spirittomb could have been like a Genie in the past and the keystone it is trapped by is like a Genie's lamp.
PLA doesn't happen 500 years in the past, it wouldn't be impossible to show the original form of spiritomb
I think the Geodude and Machop lines are connected through the same idea as Karrablast and Shelmet--
You NEED to trade the 2 families to truly understand them better.
Did anyone already mentioned that Genesect may be actually Kleavor with that thing about "300 million years ago" being just overstatement?
Doesn't really look alike, I also believe it's no overstatement considering I'm pretty sure they actually used a fossil of some sort and the scientists probably know what they're talking about
Also while not confirmed that the genetic basis was found in Unova (I think it was, but whatever) there's literally nothing hinting at that it was found in Sinnoh
Hopefully the fossils
Why can’t people just say genesect is a robotic kaputops and move on?
@@NightkeeperLunala Because nothing actually confirms that theory
As a tangent regarding parasect;
in Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon it's further confirmed that Parasect is the mushroom because when you talk to it it says "I, the mushroom, am in total control" and it's just been something that stuck wiht me, so creepy.
They revealed true Mimikyu on social media like Vaniluxe. It's basically just a lump with eyes
Another example I generally like to bring up is Makuhita, where its Sun Pokedex-entry feels like it's implying that the Makuhita we know is its Alolan form.
my thought on forretress is that it resembles a Clam.... thus the metal shell is like a clam shell... and for clams that's basically their skeleton.
@@marhawkman303 Yeah, but while the Shell could be that, the actual Pokemon is based on a bagworm just like Burmy. Also no clams in the forest..

I just love how Pokémon like Snorunt, Burmy and Applin look exactly how you would expect them to look without their clothes. No surprises whatsoever
according to pokemon suns pokedex, makuhita might have a different form too, since the "alolan" makuhita is way more recognized than the makuhita of its original region
Wormadam's body is fused to its covering, so I think one without its cloak would just be... ah, "peeled"

Dreepys "non-ghost" form could even be a new pokemon!! Or a different form... Could even do this with all the fossil pokemon from Sword and Sheild!!!

Because in some countries like Philippines their punching pads that their coaches use had somewhat of a handle so I think that is the inspiration why wobbuffet's tail is like that
This is my favorite kind of Pokémon trivia! I hadn't seen a few of these
I thought wobbufet and its pre evolution tail is unknown
8:38 their true forms were named Arctoarcto, Dracodraco, Zoltzolt and Vishvish
According to what exactly?
Zolt for example seems to just be the last part of the name of the true form considering it's only the head that is used in the combinations and always acts as the last part of the name for those specific combinations. Same for the other forms, Draco only being the legs always being the first part
We must be careful when using adjectives, people. You cant describe everything as fabulous and wondrous because what does that mean? Snorunt is a ball with feet.
The galar fossil Pokemon actually have a true form.
You just need to match the parts back to each other. It's very easy.
We got a glimpse of Mimikyu’s true form in the Alola anime, but it was literally just a black blob lol
Great video so far, but my OCD is going off the charts that we is the only word not capitalized in the title.
just a theory but the wobbuffet "tail" looks like an unknown, plus both are psychic and come from black & white.
They actually are both second gen pokemon.
Kinda surprised you didn't bring up Xerneus and Yveltal. It's more noticable with Xerneus, but both have a "neutral" form that can ONLY ever be seen in the Status screen and I think Pokemon-amie.
This form has its horns a pale shade of blue, where as in battle it becomes its Active form which has golden horns with rainbow tips.
You got Burmy all wrong, all burmy regardless of cloak are pure Bug type and can change their cloak. Wormadam are the ones that gain the second type and are locked into a particular type of cloak
