Hi Pete, I've been following you for a while and I enjoy every video you make. I emigrated from the Netherlands to Serbia and now I have my own small farm with about 40 cows and some pigs and poultry. I also have my own channel but i don't have enough followers yet 😥 very good feeder but unfortunately it can't be bought in Europe and I'm very sorry about that I learned and still learn a lot from you. Just keep going, thank you for your effort and commitment. It means a lot to me. Greetings from my small farm in the north of Serbia
Of all your animals, I enjoy your interactions with the little pigs the best. They're timid yet curious. They didn't know what to make of the feeder but when you "primed the pump" by pouring some feed around the bottom, they responded!
Pete that was a real good idea to mount the feeder on the plywood. Another piece of equipment that will save you time and money on feed not being wasted.
Interesting vidio! It's amazing how strong pigs are, my sandal back boar flung a heavy pig gate and the half ton bale of silage that was helping to jam the gate in place 8 feet in one go. He was a big pig but even so I was impressed that he could move that sort of weight so effortlessly.
oh man. i just saw this pete. the plywood! ive got 2 of these that im excited to use as i got them used for 15 bucks a piece. they dont have the inside flow part but im not concerned. i just needed something that i could put alot of feed in so i didnt have to go in twice a day to feed.
Pete, by now you’ve had your Osborne feeder for a year or so. Are you still using it and like it? The biggest question I have is, on setting 1 of the flow rate, how much feed comes out would you guess? I raise a breed of pigs called Idaho Pasture Pigs and if you free feed them the fat to meat ratio is not good. I currently hand feed them twice a day in feed pans and I’m looking for a less labor intensive solution but that will still only allow them to get about two or three pounds of feed per pig per day.
What was your opinion of this after using it? We have a breeding pair of pigs and are expecting our first set of piglets in the spring, so I have been looking for a bulk style feeder. Any input you can provide would be appreciated. We love the channel. Keep up the good work.
I have one of these feeders and my pigs are either too lazy to spin the paddles or they don’t know how. Any ideas on how to get them more interested in the actual function of the feeder?

I enjoy watching you assemble the hog feeder or a pig feeder.
Another great one. Thanks Pete!
Money well spent. Thanks for the video
Well done!

As a retired accountant, I enjoy your business perspectives. What breed of pigs do you have.

Hi. Where did you fasten that plywood to on the feeder? Good idea but hard to see. I'm thinking we will get one of these
Hi Pete! How do you like the feeder after a couple years? Is it holding up well? No issues?
Great achievement, please how can I get this feeder, I live in Nigeria west Africa
What feed do you use to feed them
I would be afraid the fiberglass would crack under the freezing and thawing weather. Is this your first one like this?
Hi ZaneyMay! Yes, this is our first one. We are certainly having a lot of freeze/thaws here. We'll see how it holds up and do a follow-up video.
How do you like the automatic pig feeder now that you have had it a while? How has the feed bowl held up?
Hi rain coast, it worked great for our winter batch of pigs. The fiberglass bottom has no damage at all.

I have never run into that problem. When they get hungry enough, they'll figure it out.
Idaho pasture pigs?
How to order this
What feed do you feed to your pigs?
Hi Chris, we feed a grain mix ground at our local mill. Corn, soybeans and oats primarily, with a mineral pack added. All mixed at the mill.
You are doing a great deal in swine farming.
I will like to pay you a visit if you invite me.
Am watching from Nigeria.
