    Glad you're so knowledgeable with shotguns bc that's probably what I need to improve on the most. Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.

    I've been looking into starting 3-Gun, so this series of videos really helped. Excellent series that'll probably wind up saving me money and frustration.
    Thumbs up for every video. Looking forward to the rest.
    Thanks, Bullitt.

    Great video Mac. I'm one of those who feels a bit intimidated by the shotgun, particularly the reloading aspect of it. Your videos really do help clear up a lot of confusion and provide great tips.

    Great video, enjoyed it.
    Could you share links to the choke tubes you mentioned? Ones that didn't come with your M2 and you purchased that separately? Tried to catch it from voice but failed, because English is not my native language.
    Thanks

    Mac - seriously enjoyed the series on getting into 3 gun! I was wondering if you had an opinion on the Stoeger M3K as a starting point for a 3 gun shotgun?

    • @bullittmcqueen
      @bullittmcqueen  7 лет назад

      A fantastic choice for 3-gun. Lots of 3-gunners use the M3K

      BullittMcQueen Thanks! I ended up with the JM Pro Series 930... Took it out this weekend and it ran like a champ! Thanks for all the great videos! Keep it up!

      I bought the M3000 instead of the M3k because I didn't want the 30" barrel that was standard, mine came with a 28" I am adding some components from the the M3K. Added a +7 Nordic tube for an 11+1 .

    Maybe this is a different discussion, but how do you decide when to load shot vs. when to load slugs? Do you have them segregated on your belt, or have them loaded ahead of time in order assuming you don't have a miss?

    • @bullittmcqueen
      @bullittmcqueen  8 лет назад +1

      Certain targets have to be shot with certain types of shotgun ammo. For instance, a certain steel target might have to be shot with slugs only. So you have to decide how you want to load your shotgun or plan your reload in order to make sure that a slug is in the chamber at the right time to shoot that target. My philosophy is to keep it simple and dont try anything too elaborate.

    Did it turn out to be cheaper doing the mods on a M2 yourself rather than buying the M2 3-gun edition?

    • @bullittmcqueen
      @bullittmcqueen  8 лет назад +5

      I am a big proponent of doing it yourself. Here is a rough estimate of how the numbers shake out:
      BENELLI 3-GUN EDITION: $2499 (MSRP)
      +9 NORDIC EXTENSION TUBE: $75
      TOTAL:$2575
      BENELLI M2 FIELD NEW IN BOX: $1100 (WHAT I PAID)
      +9 NORDIC EXTENSION TUBE: $75
      TTI ACCUGUIDE LIFTER: $80
      TTI OVERSIZED SAFETY: $28
      TTI BOLT HANDLE: $40
      TTI BOLT RELEASE BUTTON: $25
      OPENED LOADING PORT: FREE D.I.Y.
      HIVIZ TRICOMP FRONT SIGHT: $26
      TOTAL: $1338
