So glad I found your channel man! I am retired Army living in Germany 40 years this year. I can`t hunt and fish......definately my biggest regret. You and your videos keep me level headed in this stress filled life. Thanks Dusty
If you don’t mind me asking, what time of year were you fishing? Like did you upload it pretty soon after you filmed it or was this footage from a different time of year?
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620thanks, ive been looking at some tribs of the conodoquinet and the yellow breeches that are probably very similar to the one you fished, because I’m assuming unless it’s a limestone spring influenced stream that by the start of summer it’s too warm and they have migrated elsewhere. Really impressive fish by the way I’ve never seen any browns that big in my area except for one I spooked on the LeTort
If you don’t mind me asking what body of water is this I’m in Maryland there’s a few wild reproducing brown trout streams but nun of them hold browns bigger then 10-14 inches
I went to a spot near me and tried the jig and all that happened for me was every hole that I casted it into was an instant snag and I lost a few LOL 🤣🤣 Now I started tying my own, Awesome fishes!
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 ik where your at lmao. Never fished it but always wondered if it held trout. Gets pretty low in summer when I work at the camp by it
Confidential information lol…… unfortunately, if I named the names of all of the streams I fish on social media the streams would be garbage after not too long!! 🤷♂️ Exploration found them for me, & can do the same for you! 👌🤙😁🎣 They’re all in PA I’ll give that info! 🤙 Tight Lines and best of luck 😊
Yeah, I hate that I catch so many big fish….. i’m actually considering just taking all of the hooks off of my lures, and really putting the oods in the fishes favor though……..👌🙄 Stay tuned for that video……….
thats a great creek. Muddy creek north, south, otter creek, and woodbine are all great streams. If you put in the time and distance you will find some big ones!
Sad that the art of back reeling has been all but lost! Personally I hate handling big fish with loose drags ! I have lost a couple in my years of perfecting the back reeling technique but it works well in controlling the big ones because the rod works more against them !

Good video but this is Central PA, South East is Philly and yellow breeches is over a hr away West of there.
Great video!

Cool hat... I have the brook trout edition...
Yeah I love it…… one of my very good friends got it for me as a gift!

This content was filmed in early May 2023👌🎣

Unfortunately, I really don’t name my bodies of water on social media, but I was however fishing in a small Pennsylvania stream.👌🤙

Are you fishing Yellow Breeches or another stream? Great job! Thanks!
In the general vicinity 👌
What size saint croix legend rod is thay
It’s a 5’9” but there’s a couple eyes broken off! 👌
I was wondering if you tie your own streamers? Or are they available for purchase on the internet?
A good buddy of mine actually ties them for me. He unfortunately is not selling them to the public though.
This looks similar to spring run, would make sense given the tags lol
Lol….. yeasssss🤙😂
By the township park? I have this location pinned on Google maps. Was wondering if it held fish.
Are you referring to the one by the township park?
Catching fish of this caliber on a heavily fished public creek like that is impressive. Something to be said about the fisherman!
rooster tails are fun
What streamers do you use
Homemade…… a good buddy of mine makes them for me! 👌
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 does he sell them?
@@Hilliard-Brothers-Fishing he does not🤷♂️
Is this near the letort?
In the general region! 🤙
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 I think I know where your at. Gimme one more hint, does this stream get warm in summer

Yeah he was definitely right in that area! 👌
#letort #yellowbreeches 😂😂😂

Would have been better with a fly rod….spin fishing is too easy

Keep those big browns coming man👍
I hear muddy creek in Southern York County is great fishing and I do know it's a beautiful looking stream with awesome scenery.
If you like ugly stockies
@@trevenkuhn8479 there's gotta be some wild browns hiding in there somewhere
There are just not many and not many big ones because of too many catch and keep regulation areas vs where the catch and release areas should be

This was all public land? This doesn't look like the breeches to me haha anyways.

Jerry McKinnis of the fish in hole was terrific at it !
