    Nothing I love more than a big wild brown. I fish a bunch of small streams in and around potter county and find some nice browns and even a couple nice brookies

      Appreciate the love brother…. yeah the biggest thing I can say is just try to get off of the beaten path and once you establish that I stream has wild trout just put some time in and the big ones will definitely show themselves eventually! They are all over the state from my experience! 👌🤙

    I really enjoy your videos they have some really awesome fish compared to the places i have here in utah, but there are still some pretty awesome places to fish here, just the fish are much smaller

    Nice stream you have there! Browns all day...big browns! It's tough fishing in structure in small streams...the bonus...no pressure! Those streams are too few up here in MA!

    • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620
      @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620  Год назад

      They get a little pressure…. The art of persuasion is definitely a skill that is needed when fishing these types of streams though…. Definitely something that takes a little time to perfect! 👌😁

    Dusty what size is the jig 1/8 and is your rode a ultra lite..forr the most part you have pinpoint accuracy with your pitching, great video

    • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620
      @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620  Год назад +1

      Thanks my man….. I think my jigs are actually 1/4 oz……… the rod that I used in most of my earlier videos is a Berkley Cherrywood and yes I would consider it an ultralight. It’s a 5 foot rod in which I snap the end section off making it 4’5”….. the rod in my newer videos is a St.Croix premier 5’6” in a fast action medium power 🤙

    Dude! You killed it! What an amazing day! I'd be lucky to get one 20incher to chase in a day. I also loved how you explained each spot and what you're going to do to catch it. The waters there look like ours here in the midwest. Hope to replicate your success here.

    I really just wanted to know about colours & size & if they are streamers for fly fishing as it looks like you have a jig head for the streamers I’m not sure I’ve seen any over here only streamers for fly fishing 🤷🏼‍♂️ I hope you can help 😉😁👍🏼 Craig 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Big Cheese- Are these streams limestoners or heavily spring influenced? Just asking because the trout seem active so I'm guessing water temps are warmer where you are. The mountain streams in my area are still running cold and the fish are real lethargic. If you don't literally bang something in their nose, they aren't moving but a few inches to grab something.

    • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620
      @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620  Год назад

      Most of the water I fish is freestone with spring influence…. But I mean this time of year the water is cold everywhere…. I don’t even bother temping it until June typically…. Mostly all of the water I fish stays cold until at least then! 👌🤙

      Well here’s the good news, if a person hasn’t already fished it chances are they’re not going to recognize it……. And if they’ve already fished it then they know it’s already good….. C&R in these places is the only thing that will keep them that way…… but yeah, I try not to be too revealing! Tight Lines & best of luck my friend
