Nothing I love more than a big wild brown. I fish a bunch of small streams in and around potter county and find some nice browns and even a couple nice brookies
Man you have some awesome content! The spots you go to are stellar, I am in PA as well an currently looking for more spots to fish if you have any pointers I'd greatly appreciate any help!!
Appreciate the love brother…. yeah the biggest thing I can say is just try to get off of the beaten path and once you establish that I stream has wild trout just put some time in and the big ones will definitely show themselves eventually! They are all over the state from my experience! 👌🤙
I really enjoy your videos they have some really awesome fish compared to the places i have here in utah, but there are still some pretty awesome places to fish here, just the fish are much smaller
Nice stream you have there! Browns all day...big browns! It's tough fishing in structure in small streams...the bonus...no pressure! Those streams are too few up here in MA!
They get a little pressure…. The art of persuasion is definitely a skill that is needed when fishing these types of streams though…. Definitely something that takes a little time to perfect! 👌😁
Thanks my man….. I think my jigs are actually 1/4 oz……… the rod that I used in most of my earlier videos is a Berkley Cherrywood and yes I would consider it an ultralight. It’s a 5 foot rod in which I snap the end section off making it 4’5”….. the rod in my newer videos is a St.Croix premier 5’6” in a fast action medium power 🤙
Dude! You killed it! What an amazing day! I'd be lucky to get one 20incher to chase in a day. I also loved how you explained each spot and what you're going to do to catch it. The waters there look like ours here in the midwest. Hope to replicate your success here.
Hey man been watching you for a long time know and started my RUclips because of you! I have a question what kinda streamers do you like ? I’m just getting into fishing with them.
Awwwwwwwwesome brother…… I’m glad you’re enjoying my man! 👌🤙😁 I’ll definitely give your stuff a look as well man! 👌😉 My streamers are homemade from my good buddy….. they are basically a jig head, and he ties some Maribou and feathers to them! 🤙
Persistence payed off big time 👍 Good work finally getting that stud to take ! Epic day indeed with a nice mix of beautiful browns, and a bridge fish to boot ! Happy for you buddy!
Yo Dusty my friend I was going to ask if you’d be willing to give me some advice regarding streamers using a 5ft 6 UL rod I’m just going to watch this video of yours then I’m off to bed take it easy & Tight lines ✌🏼💙🎣🏴👍🏼 I really just wanted to know about colours & size & if they are streamers for fly fishing as it looks like you have a jig head for the streamers I’m not sure I’ve seen any over here only streamers for fly fishing 🤷🏼♂️ I hope you can help 😉😁👍🏼 Craig 🏴
These ones in this video are basically a jig streamer…. My good buddy makes them but unfortunately he doesn’t sell them to the public! 🤷♂️ I pretty much bounce back-and-forth between the spinner and those! 👌
Big Cheese- Are these streams limestoners or heavily spring influenced? Just asking because the trout seem active so I'm guessing water temps are warmer where you are. The mountain streams in my area are still running cold and the fish are real lethargic. If you don't literally bang something in their nose, they aren't moving but a few inches to grab something.
Most of the water I fish is freestone with spring influence…. But I mean this time of year the water is cold everywhere…. I don’t even bother temping it until June typically…. Mostly all of the water I fish stays cold until at least then! 👌🤙
Good stuff but be careful of what you show in the background. I knew exactly where you where on that first creek when I saw that building with the red roof and the dam with the pipe.
Well here’s the good news, if a person hasn’t already fished it chances are they’re not going to recognize it……. And if they’ve already fished it then they know it’s already good….. C&R in these places is the only thing that will keep them that way…… but yeah, I try not to be too revealing! Tight Lines & best of luck my friend
Where in Pennsylvania is that fishing paradise? just curious ..... I live in Santa Barbara California and I don't have fish like that anywhere near me !
These kind of trout are all across the state! I’ve caught them big in every region with the exception of the southeastern corner….. I haven’t hit it much! 👌👍
Great water and awesome fishing and a few beauties were landed, thanks for the trip Dusty, tight lines and thumbs up,, greetings to all,, Tony.

Catching fish like that never gets old 👍

That’s a day to remember! How many pound line you using? I’ve used 12lb fluro with good success but it feels a bit overkill sometimes.
I run 8lb Stren mono 🤙

Yessir essentially they’re just a 1/4oz jighead with Marabou…. Gold & copper work best for me! 🤙
I'm thinking of starting from scratch
What's name of that bait ypur using

What County are you fishing in?
And that will be a good approach

Is that a feathered marabou jig?
Wooly bugger jig of some variety. Maybe a sparkle minnow. Appears to have some wing n flash or angel hair for the body.
Hi
Can you show, how You make this streamer
Thank You

@@briandetweiler9974 it’s in Pennsylvania lol👌😁
