I was at this game and this by far was the loudest and rowdiest game I have ever experienced in my entire life. That first half was the most dominating 30 minutes of football I've ever seen.
in 2015 we had a habbit of getting a big lead in the first half and then throwing in the second, but still managing to win. Reminds me of the rams right now.
I've never watched a full Panthers season since this season, mostly because I'm 99% sure we will never see anything else like this as Panther fans, sucks we didn't win the Superbowl but was a hell of a ride.
This team right here is proof how important an oline is, specially your tackles. This was one of the most dominant teams ever, and they lost. Same with 07 patriots, couldn’t stop strahan and them boys. Sad.
The Panthers defeated the 2 time defending NFC champions that year it was a turning point for the NFL.The Seattle Seahawks have not been back in the Super Bowl since the 2014 season and the Panthers haven't been to the super bowl since that 2015 year.
This isn't really connected to that game, but it was the end of the Broncos dominance as well. They haven't made the playoffs once since Manning retired
It amazes me how folks think Seattle had a all time great defense. Besides giving up a 75 yard run on the first play of the game, let's count all their choke jobs over their glory years. 2012-the offense takes a 24-21 lead with 5:21 left in Detroit only to watch the 4 win Lions push them around the next 5 minutes to score the winning TD with seconds left. 2012-the offense takes a 17-14 lead with 23 seconds left after a 97 yard drive only to watch Richard Sherman get burned for 56 yards to Brandon Marshall to force OT that fast. 2012-the offense has a 24-21 lead in Miami only to see the defense give up points on the final 2 drives to lose to the 6 wins Dolphins 2012-the offense has them 31 seconds from the NFC title game only to watch the Swiss Cheese defense blow it in just 23 seconds. 2013-holding a 17-16 lead in SF, the defense on the final possession gives up a 50 yard plus run to Frank Gore to set up the game winning FG. 2013-Andrew Luck realizes his former college teammate Richard Sherman was slow, so he and TY Hilton abused him for a deep TD that decided that game. 2014-Dallas, KC, SD all dropped 30 on the all timers, Denver in the final 2 possessions easily scored 15 to force OT. Then in the SB, holding a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter, Tom Brady decided to slice this Swiss Cheese defense into his plate as he tossed their salads for 14 points in the final 2 possessions. People talk like this defense was on par with the Steel Curtain or 1985 Bears.
Neither of those teams led the league in defense 4 straight years. Pittsburgh wasn't the best defense of that era. The Bears had nowhere near the run Seattle had.. They definitely didn't play in an Era where the rules were stacked against them. They performed better than those among their contemporaries.
@@brandonpurdy7658 fools looking at stats Look at Seattle 's losses from 2012-2017 and the majority of them came when the defense blew the leafs, just like the SB. Those stats are misleading. Go watch the end of the 2012 wild card game against Atlanta and see why they didn't get to the conference title game. They always wanted to blame Russ when they fucked up and talked big. That's why Trent Williams punched Richard Sherman in the face for running his fucking mouth.

These 2 teams actually had some damn good NFC Rivalry games, especially in the post season lmao 🤣
Lol that 2nd half was such a huge choke from us to almost give up a 31 point halftime lead. JEEZ

That Kuechly pick was the loudest BofA has ever been. Or maybe ever will be.
Panthers "we will never ever let you relax and enjoy a game" I was dying in the 2nd half Ban prevent defense!
Crazy how just the year prior they got destroyed by the same team

Remmers almost single handedly cost us a super bowl that year. Von Miller destroyed him. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

the pinnacle of my football fandom
Watching this in 2024 and I'm sad.
If Seattle would have kicked that fg in the 1st half....they could have just went for the td and tie or win with 2....still gota take the points
Let's see if Cam can get panthers to win the division 🤔🤔
lol
🤣
All I remember was how pouty cam got when the Seahawks were coming back.
Steph curry was there
Cool story bro
