Probably the best single-game performance the Panthers have ever had. For this night Carolina was the center of the NFL universe. And at 17-1 after this performance they looked like they might be remembered as one of the best teams ever.
I will never ever forget this team, one that defined my childhood. The Monday at school after the game everyone was rocking Panthers gear. It was the best.

My father left me the home after he passed back in 2020 and im so lucky its still hard to believe. me and my dad have even traveled to both super bowls we were in after the '03 season & '15 season. my father bought 6 PSLs the moment they became available way back in the early/mid 90's when (what was then to be named Ericcson stadium was still under construction). we had two personal PSLs in section 124, row 4, seats 4 & 5. the other 4 PSLs were up in the gray seated club section for either my fathers employees or his companies clients. either way, all 6 psl's were incredible and all had spectacular views...(especially being just 4 rows up front the front right behind the edge of the home sideline). i went to literally every single home game from 1995 until the end of the 2008 season when i went off to college at Duke University. but even now i still catch a game pretty regularly whenever im home visiting for holidays or just visiting to say hi. its sort of like myself & my fathers ritual...we love it there and its such a shame we are now the worst team in the NFL by MILES and dont even have a first or a third round pick thanks to horrible decisions by tepper & GM fitterer (Fitterer of course having just been fired is def a small step in the right direction so thats good...but tepper is the real problem so well just have to see how it pans out from here on out. 😅😅. even the four psl's we own in the very lower club section arent quite as hot a commodity as they used to be. oh well, i pray all of this bounces back...i give it 4-6 more full seasons until our first winning record at the end of the reg season. thats a LOOONG time to suck. i feel all of your pain panther fans. i miss jake and cam so bad...even more i miss Jerry Richardson...not the GREATEST owner ever..but he did make it to the playoffs 7 times, won the division 6 times, made THREE NFC Championship game appearances, winning two of them. and of course making two SB appearances. we had a 15-1 record and a league MVP as well in 2015 which was out of this world awesome. i think the '15 panthers are overall one of the most (if not THE most) underrated team of all time since the merger back in the '70s. had we won SB 50 i think most if not all media/football experts would consider us as such. i used to see Muhsin walking his dog occosaionally but havent seen him in awhile, but he was always very kind and soft spoken to me i like him alot. Cam definetley lived up to what he wanted people to say about him looking back. He had fun playing the game. Who else has opportunity to make little ones smile the way He did.
I was on a 8,000-ft mountain in Southern India watching this game on my iPad getting a 3G signal at 3:00 am 🤣. It was awesome! I'll always remember watching the sunrise and celebrate a victory so cool!
@@davidwiland453 they didn't really try hard to win that second falcons game we basically let them win to keep our guys healthy. There were really only 2 teams that could beat us that year in a superbowl type game and that was the Broncos and Patriots and the Broncos beat the pats who beat us our first superbowl and it was only fitting they beat us in our second one. Good luck to your team this year they're looking pretty unbeatable this year too.
I cried myself to sleep that night. Watching your team with high expectations and ambitions like that just hurted my soul. I didn’t know what to think, what to say for YEARS! Yes the Panthers were 15-1 but we still had a chance. And two weeks later, the patriots and I were sitting on the couch. Watching our conference opponents face each other
I am. As a Panthers fan it was tough to see my squad get shut down two weeks later. And the frustrating part was that we held Denver to 194 yards of total offense, and we had well over 300!!!
I was listening on the Panthers app on my phone. What a night! A pity we couldn’t see it through in the Super Bowl but all credit to the Broncos. It’s looking a very long way back for Carolina currently 😔
WoahhWilly Haven’t been to the Championship since 2014. So, yeah, you guys are winning but can’t get past the Divisional round. Almost every time has been a blow out. 2019 Seahawks are overrated and your defense is going to lose you games.
DH K I’m usually not a “SB was rigged” kind of fan, but I had a feeling that there was no way that the NFL was going to allow the great Peyton Manning to retire without a SB win. I did hate thinking that...but it was one of my first thoughts when I saw who we were playing in the SB..
@FuckingHateTwilight Stfu, they didn't make the schedule and nobody had no idea that those other teams would suck the way they did. Houston finished 9-7, and Arizona was 13-3 . You can say the same thing about Denver. But Denver LOST to the Steelers and Chiefs and an 8-8 Colts team that Carolina beat.
@@colinhatfield9647cool conspiracy theory. So how does that work? They paid off all of the Panthers players and coaches to lose the game they care about more than anything in their profession? Because they played like total ass. The Broncos beat the shit out of them up and down the field all game. And it's literally not even possible to blame the refs after such a dominant win, so that basically leaves only the idea that the players threw the game. Of course it still wouldn't explain why the Panthers would then throw game 1 of the next season when they played the Broncos again, but logic doesn't seem to be your strong suit so I'm guessing it doesn't matter to you lol
@@colinhatfield9647a lot of people say that but I remember that game idk it could’ve been rigged but our offense got flat out dominated the entire game our defense kept us in it for awhile Denver just played better I was fucking hurt 😂

The last dominant game that the panthers and cardinals played PANTHERS WHY YOU LET RON GO 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Greg Olsen Thomas Davis Ron Rivera Cam newton starting Luke domination. I miss this team
If he wasn't afraid to recover his own fumble maybe the Panthers score and that changes the momentum of the game and maybe they win kinda feel like he and the Panthers gave up after that
@Chrox Yeah, Kuechly noticed that someone nearby had fallen over, sustained an ugly hit, and possibly got badly hurt, so he instantly wanted to make sure that this person was ok. I'm sure Kuechly would've immediately called the medical team to help out the fallen fan if he needed it. And all of this was an instantaneous reaction, so it shows Kuechly's moral quality: he rates the well-being of a stranger as more important than his own sporting feats.
Idk how you were able to put the whole game up but thank you. Took me back to see how good we really were. And also to see how many players from that team that isn’t with the team anymore. Crazy. #keeppounding. We’ll be back. Soon enough.
I’m here almost 10 years later I was 10 years old when this master class of a performance by the panthers was played watched every second of this game both times and I don’t think people understand the impact CAM FREAKING NEWTON HAD ON US KIDS I’m sorry we didn’t wanna be Brady we wanted to Be Cam and that’s facts
Reminiscing in October, 2019 & reminding myself of how great our defense is looking this year - (watching the Micd up videos are cool as well.)Kyle Allen is looking good as our QB2 as we give our QB1, Cam, some time to get 100% healthy - both physically & mentally. Cam has played injured since 2016. He needed this important break, although I would have not chosen for him to be forced to do so because of an injury. I was really concerned about his enthusiasm for the game, especially after Luck retired. We’re so lucky to have Allen managing games, Run CMC having a MVP-caliber season & a top 5 defense. Wait until Cam returns....opponents are not going to know how to game plan with both Cam & CMC running the ball PLUS Samuels, Moore & Olsen pulling them down from the air. Also, it’s great that, hopefully, we’ll be going into the playoffs with TWO HEALTHY QBs!! #KeepPounding in 2019!!!!

As a Cardinal fan who watched this debacle live, I remember thinking a big difference was Kuechly manning the middle for the Panthers while the Cardinals answered with L'il Kevin Minter and the Cardinals wouldn't meaningfully compete until they solved that problem. Carson Palmer was a turn over machine this game. Too bad Carolina didn’t win the super bowl. They were so dominant.
Broncos defense lit Newton up hahaha
I would've liked for them to beat Denver
They almost choked to a 10-6 SB hangover Seahawks team even when they were up 31. I didn’t think they were gonna win the SB at all.
Na, Go Broncos!👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@larryredecker6612 Yeah a rigged superbowl, and what have they done since? Loser 😂.
Man sitting here in 2022 watching the shit show we got going on now it really makes me miss all these great players even more. Even though they didn’t win the Super Bowl that was still a magical season and I’m glad I got to see it

The greatest game ever as a Panther fan
Ech0es Not even the double OT game in St. Louis 🤔
Yeah, that was a great one as well.
beating seattle twice and dallas on thanksgiving was pretty awesome that season as well
DieHardNYGiantsFan he probably wasn’t old enough to appreciate it. Just like me😂. But it’s still fun to rewatch the 2000s Panthers. They sure had some good years. NY too! god bless their D and Eli Manning lol.
Ech0es worst game ever by a Cerdinals fan. I turned it off after the 3rd quarter I couldn’t take it anymore
Cam definetley lived up to what he wanted people to say about him looking back. He had fun playing the game. Who else has opportunity to make little ones smile the way He did.
I wanted to cry for Larry Fitzgerald in his post game interview. That too heart breaking to watch.
Larry could win this season. Cardinals are 5-2👀

This game ended Carson Palmer's resurgence.
bigblue999 my friend, since this game the Cardinals have spiraled into hell
@Bobby Hill Pretty retarded comment. Warner was still in his prime. And they went to the Super Bowl with him.
We need to fire Gettleman ASAP
I was on a 8,000-ft mountain in Southern India watching this game on my iPad getting a 3G signal at 3:00 am 🤣. It was awesome! I'll always remember watching the sunrise and celebrate a victory so cool!
This should have been a good game. 13-3 vs 15-1. Panthers were basically unbeatable that year.
anonymous anonymous super bowl says different though 😂
Broncos and Flacons: I’m about to ruin this whole team career
No they were basically defeated twice that year. Once by the falcons and another by the broncos.
But really unbeatable means they were not able to be beaten by another team and they did twice
The panthers missed there window man... QB issues, aging defense, New coach it may be a little bit before we’re back in this kind of game 😔😔
We'll be back, I'm sure of it. It will take a while, but we've got a really young team.
Watching our conference opponents face each other
The 03 Panthers had it much closer than 15.
Anybody Else watching in 2020??

I am. As a Panthers fan it was tough to see my squad get shut down two weeks later. And the frustrating part was that we held Denver to 194 yards of total offense, and we had well over 300!!!

Unforgettable season despite the Superbowl loss. Both teams played strong defense but the Broncos capitalized more on the turnovers.
Still in shock from what happened after this😭
The greatest moment in Panthers history. Sadly it didn’t turn out quite as well two weeks later!
Things change so fast in the NFL. These teams look so different five years later.

DH K I’m usually not a “SB was rigged” kind of fan, but I had a feeling that there was no way that the NFL was going to allow the great Peyton Manning to retire without a SB win. I did hate thinking that...but it was one of my first thoughts when I saw who we were playing in the SB..
@@dbeazrn3934 Exactly my thoughts , even 5 yrs. later !!!!!

That Panthers team was insane. The fact that Denver’s D shut them down in the SB makes them a top 5-3 defense of all time
To bad it's rigged like the WWE. Wake up people!
that game was rigged for denver, game was decided before it even started. peyton’s going out party

Amazing that the Panthers had a 17-1 year going into that Super Bowl... also, the most recent postseason Scorigami

Superman Cam really deserved a ring.
If he wasn't afraid to recover his own fumble maybe the Panthers score and that changes the momentum of the game and maybe they win kinda feel like he and the Panthers gave up after that
Cam Newton will always be my favorite QB as long as I live
2:04:16 Kuechly instantly forgets about celebrating his TD to check if fan who fell off is ok. Decent lad.
Ted ginn might have dropped passes but he was electrifying and probably was cams favorite weapon 2013&2015
