The Lords of the Fallen by HEXWORKS is a dark action role-playing video game that continues the universe created in 2014 by Deck 13 and CI Games, guaranteeing an epic fantasy adventure in an immense interconnected world five times larger than that of the original release. As one of the legendary Dark Crusaders, the player must explore two vast parallel realms, that of humans and that of the dead, and embark on a journey to overthrow the demon god Adyr, even if it means having to end up I walk with bosses of colossal size.
The HEXWORKS team, with offices in Barcelona, sells an RPG where you can master a fast, fluid and challenging combat system, control devastating magical attacks and powerful power-ups, find a wide variety of inhabitants suspiciously willing to offer you their help, etc. Additionally, The Lords of the Fallen allows you to invite a second player to your campaign in non-stop online multiplayer. Finally, the video game is strong in its customization, with up to nine initial character classes (knight, rogue, apprentice, etc.)

@@AndrejPVRYeah ER had really weak fashion, especially compared to Dark Souls 2 or even 3. This game seems to have all the cool look of Souls armor + the creativity of Monster Hunter armor, while having none of the downsides (Souls games don't have a lot of armor, MH games have a lot of ugly stinkers).

Remember everyone! this game has armor _tints_ i found two so far, one is super easy to find as you go but the other is in the very first tutorial area. When the game gives you the jump tutorial and you are supposed to jump over a small gap, instead drop down and you can loot the tint. Tints are awesome because they let you make a mixed set look way more unified and complete. This game might have some of the best fashio0n souls I've ever seeming either a souls game ort souls-like game. Its awesome.
Do you know how many colours there are for tints? I know there is copper, gold and silver but is there like a black tint for example?

We need more armor like this in games, it seems like many developers are too afraid or perhaps lazy to make some more unique armors. We should be able to look just as unique and powerful as the bosses in fantasy games. Armor that changes the very shape of your character is something we don't see much of.
I prefer dark souls and ER knight helmets tho

More than half of them are cloth shitty dark souls style... LORDS OF RHE FALLEN had better sets. Too bad that they didn't stay that style:(
When I first saw the dispair and "invasion faction" armors I was hella impressed with how good that shit is. Like normally especially with the inferno enemies: games would give the excuse "It's not armor. It's embedded in their skin." LOTF said "You wanna look like an orc from LOTR? Here ya go!"
more armor or items that change movement/movesets, as well as how the character looks, would also be nice (ie -Milkweed rune in Bloodborne)
I love how for the 2nd armor set, you straight up can just he a skeleton.

I was already sold on this game, but this just put it over the top. Insane armor designs, and certainly not lacking in quantity either.
I'm in disbelief how many awesome armor sets this game has. I've never seen anything like it
Whoever designed these sets needs a raise. Probably the best drip in any game ever
Only issue I have is the inconsistency of whether or not a helmet's visor is opaque or not. Comparing the thorned penitent and the helmet the avowed wear they are very similar helmets yet the avowed helmet you could your character's face clear as day through the eye and mouth holes unlike the thorned penitent. I mainly bring this up because I prefer helmet's visors that fully conceal the face as I personally feel it's more aesthetically pleasing and/or badass that way. Wish there would've been an option to turn it on or off when equipping it so everyone gets the version they want opaque visor or not.
The variety is what I really like here, that and the sheer amount of sets that enemies can drop

My out fit is: Ravager helmet, Sovereign Protector armor, Sacred Resonance gauntlets, and Crimson Rector legs. All with Icegrip tinct which makes the set gold. Its beautiful!
I do something similar except ruiner helm. And since I'm a radiance build the gold is very fitting
I am going to have so much fun crafting outfits in this game when I get it lol

I decided to get the Dark Crusader starting class for my first playthrough only because I wanted to start out with the “canon” armor and it looks really cool. Which is something I would of liked in ER if you could wear the Raging Wolf set or the Soul of Cinder armor for the Ashen One in DS3. At least in BB you can wear the set that the Good Hunter wears at the beginning of the game in the sewer area.

My only complaint is the lack of any assassin-like masks. However, most of everything is top tier! I just wish there were more mouth covering options.

Do you have to get the multi-player armor sets to pop the armor collection trophy? Hope it's a no... because that would be stupid as hell if the multi-player armor and weapons are included into the trophy.

Fromsoft fashion was never that good only 20% of the outfits ever looked good. But this game convinced me that fromsoft never even tried. Seriously i've never seen a game where every outfit looks good.
@Mr-Hakim I’m a girl, and the only good armour (I mean armour, not bikinis!) on a female toon that looks badass in DS3 is the dancer’s armor, for example. A lit of the other armours are modelled for male characters (with their body type fixed) or are some pieces of fabric. Or a dress. I wield a heavy axe or something like that, i cannot wear a princess gown.

How do you get the abiding armour set? I only got the chest piece from the boss.
Beside the bossfight against 2 Abiding Defenders, you will meet more of them as mobs before arriving to the Beacon at "The Empyrean" part of the map, farming them should give you the remaining parts
Bruh pieta's ser is straight up guts armor
