C Products AR-15 DuraMags Pre Marking SN Numbers?

  • After many hours of researching this matter and coming up with nothing I just had to make a video about it. It seems no one is even talking about any of this and it is kinds of concerning to say the least. You have to take a look at what all the firearms company's are doing and maybe you can have a clue about whats actually going on. Is is possible that C products is pre-complying with future gun control bills that have yet to pass? Is is also possible that Academy sports and outdoors is preparing for a possible 30 round mag ban? Nothing is for sure unless someone knows something I don't.

magpul literally came out with a 10/30 mag.......for 2021......and its a really gay mag bc it has a block in the body and a nuetered spring. It has no rivet but magpul did something to make it really hard to put a standard 30 round spring in the 10/30 mag

These are lot numbers for manufacturing. It helps the manufacturer narrow down issues that may be persistent in a product that's produced over a long time. It's for the manufacturer. If you go and buy a bunch a c-products mags right (and all of the same color) they should all have a matching or very similar lot number that varies by one or maybe two digits.

Seems like lot numbers and serial numbers...
Lot numbers to the die-press machine, if there's a big batch of defective mags, they know what machine needs retooling..
Helps with quality control tracking... Think of it as meat serial numbers-if there's an outbreak of ecoli, they can issue a more precise recall...
And serial number as in a warranty work...
To me, it seems like the color coating is a trademark of duramags, esp in teflon.
If they stand behind their products, they'd want to weed out any negative recalls....
I hear that duramag is starting to build service body's for fleet trucks...
P-mags and polymer msgs in general are consumables like ammo.... They won't last as long as aluminum mags, and it's probably a way for the big companies to make extra sales....
Imported cheese from Europe use the gregorian calendar system, and others use other ways...
Since milspec mags are just that, milspec, the only way to make sure you're not fulfilling warranties for other manufacturers products, youd need a unique lot code.
In retail, the way they calculate profit is sales per sq ft.... And I imagine brick and mortar stores don't want to compete with online warehouse prices... Because margins are already tight...For brick and mortars, Usually in the 10-15% range...which is why when you go to a gun shop, they'll have more specialized selections, but with higher markups.

You are absolutely correct about the first-generation mft magazines they are complete garbage. I took one of those high-speed low-drag fighting rifle courses I pulled a first gen magazine out of the pouch and it immediately objected all of the ammunition out I pulled another out in the same thing happened my final magazine was just your basic issue military magazine and I completed the string with that mag. Thanks for doing the testing on the second generation one but mft is already ruined it for me I won't be buying any of their magazines now they do make an interesting AK handguard

Problem with these is the tracking. Some states already have banned high capacity mags. So may be an enforcement tool. Say i was shooting at my local range and law enforcement questioned me concerning the capacity of the mag. They could look up the number and prove when it was made. And basically when it was acquired. Hence id be in trouble. 🤣 want else is new.
